Abstract

post-mining land reclamation poses a challenge in restoring degraded land's ecological function and productivity, requiring optimal rehabilitation to make it productive and environmentally friendly. A key challenge in reclamation is the availability of efficient water sources to support the revegetation process. Conventional irrigation systems are inefficient and require intensive monitoring. Therefore, an innovative solution in the form of an automatic irrigation system is needed to optimize water use and support sustainable plant growth. This study aims to design and develop a technology-based automatic irrigation system that combines soil moisture sensors, water pumps, sprinklers, solar panels, solenoid valves, and microcontrollers to regulate irrigation efficiently and on time. The methodology includes hardware and software design, integration of soil moisture sensors, a microcontroller as the control unit, and system field testing. The system is designed to activate irrigation based on real-time soil moisture levels automatically, ensuring water is only applied when needed. The system is expected to reduce excess water use and improve irrigation effectiveness across large and diverse areas. Results show that this automatic irrigation system can reduce water consumption by 34.2% compared to conventional methods. In addition, farmers can remotely manage irrigation via the Internet or mobile apps, reducing irrigation time by 75 minutes. This system holds the potential to be an innovative and sustainable solution for post-mining land reclamation, ushering in a new era of efficient and sustainable agriculture.

Abstract

Salo Palai Village is one of the villages in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Salo Palai Village has several garden products such as pepper and other processed garden products such as banana chips, fruit syrup and so on. With garden products and processed garden products, this village has the potential to be able to develop the welfare of its community through MSMEs from several of these products. As an MSME business that continues to grow, good packaging and calculating the selling price of MSME products are things that should be considered in attracting and introducing their products to consumers in order to increase the value and number of sales of their products. By conducting lecture methods and direct training to participants, it will have a direct impact on them on how to design good packaging and promotions for MSMEs. Thus, community service activities in the field of design and promotion through financial calculations for product sales are expected to be an effort to provide an understanding of the importance of increasing sales value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and establish the effects of enjoyment, convenience, trust, and social influence on perceived usefulness and intention to use among Mobile Game Users in Samarinda City. This study employs a quantitative approach, utilizing path analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics V23 and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) software with IBM AMOS V5. A total of 180 respondents from various locations in Samarinda City participated in the study, and data was collected using a questionnaire distributed through the Snowball Sampling Method. The Likert scale with a range of 1-5 was utilized for measuring the variables. Validity and reliability tests, as well as estimation and structural model fit tests, were conducted to analyze the collected data. The findings, obtained through statistical analysis using SEM-AMOS version 5.0, indicate the following results: trust significantly influences the perceived usefulness of Mobile Game users. Enjoyment, convenience, and social influence significantly affect the perceived usefulness of Mobile Game users. Furthermore, enjoyment and convenience have a significant impact on the intention to use Mobile Game Users in Samarinda City. However, trust does not significantly affect social influence among Mobile Game Users in Samarinda City. Additionally, perceived usefulness demonstrates a significant effect on the intention to use Mobile Game Users. The results provide valuable insights into the factors influencing perceived usefulness and intention to use among Mobile Game Users in Samarinda City. Understanding the impact of enjoyment, convenience, trust, and social influence on these variables can assist in the development of strategies to enhance user experiences and encourage greater adoption and usage of mobile games. The findings of this study can be utilized by mobile game developers and marketers to optimize their offerings and improve user satisfaction and engagement. The findings of this study shows that a significant relationship between.

Abstract

Background: Vape, sometimes known as "electronic cigarettes," first made its way into Indonesia in 2012. As technology advances, vaping's popularity there is still rising. The vast number of people who traveled abroad for vacation is where it all began. They brought vaporizers with them when they went back to Indonesia. They introduced them to friends, family, and coworkers in their various communities, which led to many people switching from traditional cigarettes to vaping and raising the price of vape in Indonesia. Aim: The purpose of this study was to analyze and prove the effect of perceived enjoyment, social influence, subjective norms, personal gratification on the attitude of vape users in Samarinda City. Method: Researchers conducted quantitative research by providing questionnaires to residents of Samarinda who use vaping products. The questionnaire contains 26 indicators and 26 statements scores on a scale of 1 to 5, with one strongly disagreeing and five strongly agreeing. The sample size for the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis tool is 100-200 respondents to estimate interpretations with SEM performed on the IBM AMOS 23 software. Findings: Perceived enjoyment, social influence, subjective norms, and personal gratification significantly effect the attitudes of vape users in Samarinda City. In addition, attitude and intention significantly affects purchase decisions for vape users in Samarinda City.
