Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of musical extracurricular activities in strengthening the character of patriotism in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 at SD Negeri 2 Kedungmenjangan. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this study include the principal, trainers, students and teachers. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data validity test uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques using the Miles & Huberman model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) extracurricular activities are held once a week on Saturdays after class hours, gamelan instruments are still complete, using the Surakarta style and Banyumasan style, Students are interested in joining extracurricular musical activities because of their own volition and support from parents. (2) The implementation of musical extracurricular can strengthen the character of patriotism by preserving arts and culture and being proud of the nation's work, Karawitan extracurricular activities also provide values ​​to students including the value of politeness, the value of mutual cooperation and the value of responsibility. (3) Supporting factors for musical extracurricular activities are the school environment, family environment and students' self, the inhibiting factor for musical extracurricular activities is the schedule of clashes with other activities and the development of technology.

Abstract

Buku teks menjadi salah satu sumber pengetahuan peserta didik. Kualitas buku teks pelajaran yang dijadikan sumber pembelajaran turut menentukan hasil pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan buku dan pendekatan pembelajaran membaca pada buku teks pelajaran kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer yang berupa buku teks pelajaran kelas IV dan data sekunder yang berupa kajian pustaka untuk melengkapi data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis teks dan studi pustaka. Analisis data terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa “Buku Tematik Tema 8” dan “Buku Bupena Tema 8” memenuhi aspek kelayakan dari sisi kesesuaikan materi dengan Kompetensi Inti dan Kompetensi Dasar. Selain itu, kedua buku juga dinyatakan layak sesuai dengan kriteria dari Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan, yang meliputi kelayakan isi, bahasa, penyajian, dan kegrafikan. Pendekatan pembelajaran di buku teks pelajaran kelas IV Sekolah Dasar juga dianggap cocok jika digunakan dalam pembelajaran membaca. Hal tersebut karena buku “Tematik Tema 8” dan “Buku Bupena Tema 8” menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran membaca yaitu Pendekatan Kontekstual dan Pendekatan Whole Language. Pendekatan Kontekstual dan Pendekatan Whole Laguange dianggap baik digunakan dalam pembelajaran karena kedua pendekatan tersebut menuntun peserta didik untuk dapat berperan aktif, khususnya dalam kegiatan membaca.

Abstract

Indonesian is a compulsory subject at all levels of education in Indonesia. Difficulties in learning Indonesian are the difficulties experienced by students in both low and high grades. This study aims to (1) find out the difficulties of students in finding important information from a paragraph reading in class V SD N 2 Dukuhwaluh (2) find out the factors that cause students to have difficulty in finding important information from a paragraph reading.This research is a qualitative descriptive research with case study method. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation analysis. Data analysis techniques from data reduction, data presentation and verification. The results showed that there were two students who had difficulty in finding important information from a paragraph reading in class V SD N 2 Dukuhwaluh

Abstract

Dalam era digital, penggunaan buku bacaan tradisional dan digital mempengaruhi minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas kedua jenis buku bacaan tersebut. Melalui metode literature review, artikel ini mengkaji studi empiris yang dipublikasikan dalam lima tahun terakhir. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa buku bacaan tradisional lebih efektif dalam membangun keterampilan dasar membaca dan kosakata, karena interaksi fisik dengan buku meningkatkan konsentrasi dan pemahaman. Buku digital, sebaliknya, menawarkan keunggulan dalam aksesibilitas dan interaktivitas, meningkatkan motivasi membaca melalui fitur multimedia. Buku digital juga memungkinkan penyesuaian tingkat kesulitan bacaan sesuai kemampuan siswa, mempercepat perkembangan keterampilan bahasa. Namun, buku digital memiliki tantangan seperti potensi distraksi dan kebutuhan perangkat teknologi yang memadai. Kesimpulannya, kombinasi buku tradisional dan digital dapat menjadi strategi efektif untuk meningkatkan minat baca dan keterampilan bahasa siswa. Integrasi keduanya dalam kurikulum pembelajaran diharapkan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang dinamis dan interaktif.

Abstract

Membaca pemahaman adalah keterampilan membaca yang berada pada tingkat lebih tinggi, mengharuskan pembaca untuk membaca dengan pemahaman dan berpikir secara kognitif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman melalui pendekatan proses pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan proses efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar, terbukti dari peningkatan rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa, yaitu 68.18% pada siklus I dan 86.36% pada siklus II. Kesimpulannya, pendekatan proses dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Nowadays, the attitude and behaviour of Indonesian students are declining. As a character-building component, schools have an important task in instilling morals, ethical values, noble morals, and strong and resilient character. This study was conducted to analyse the implementation of character education at SD Negeri 2 Pengadegan. Qualitative research with an ethnographic approach was used in this study on implementing character education in elementary schools during one semester of 2021/2022. A total of 20 participants were interviewed, including principals, teachers, parents and students. Observation, interviews and documentation were used as research instruments. Character education promotion implemented at SD Negeri 2 Pengadegan covers 20 aspects. This research describes the character education strategies: exemplary habituation, school climate conditioning, integration in all subjects, and integration through extracurricular activities. Good cooperation from all school members is a supporting factor for character education at SD Negeri 2 Pengadegan. However, character education is hampered by the lack of parental concern at home and the negative response of some parents to the enforcement of school regulations. To overcome this, schools should improve communication with parents.

Abstract

The most common learning difficulties faced by Primary school students are difficulties in learning to read. In second-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Dukuhwaluh, this problem was also found, so this study aims to describe students' initial reading difficulties. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method of a case study. The subjects of this study included 9 students who had difficulty in reading, class teachers, and 9 students' parents. Observation, interviews, and document analysis were used to collect data. The validity test of the data used data and technique triangulations. Data analysis techniques used the Miles Huberman model; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Reading difficulties for second-grade students of SD Negeri 4 Dukuhwaluh were experienced by 9 students. The results showed that initial reading difficulties included the following: a) difficulty in recognizing letters, there were 2 students who did not recognize letters from A to Z. b) difficulty in reading diphthongs, there were 4 students who did not want to pronounce any letters or stuttered when reading diphthongs. c) difficulty in reading words, there were 4 students who were not fluent in reading words or were still spelling. d) not proficient in reading consonants, there were 2 students who only knew a few consonants, and e) not yet fluent in reading sentences, there were 9 students who were still not fluent in reading sentences. It can be concluded that the difficulties experienced by the 9 students were various.

Abstract

Terdapart 6 dimensi dalam profil pelajar Pancasila, salah satunya adalah bernalar kritis. Dimensi ini memiliki keterkaitan dengan capaian pembelajaran IPAS. Terdapat dugaan keterampilan bernalar kritis pada siswa akan meningkat jika dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran serta media yang tepat. Problem based learning memiliki sintak yang mendukung stimulasi keterampilan bernalar kritis siswa. Educaplay dapat menjadi alternatif media yang cocok untuk dikolaborasikan dengan model PBL sehingga meningkatkan keterampilan bernalar kritis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan mengikuti prosedur penelitian Kemmis dan McTaggart. Sasaran penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan non test yaitu observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2013. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa model PBL berbasis educaplay dapat meningkatkan keterampilan bernalar kritis siswa. Terdapat kenaikan rata-rata persentase dari pelaksanaan siklus I dan siklus II yaitu mencapai 84% > 80%. Guru dapat memanfaatkan PBL berbasis educaplay untuk melakukan pembelajaran IPAS agar keterampilan bernalar kritis siswa semakin meningkat. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Bernalar Kritis; Educaplay; IPAS

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan kegrafikan pada buku teks kelas III SD. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Purbalingga Lor, SD Negeri 2 Purbalingga Lor, SD Negeri 2 Wirasa, SD Negeri 1 Purbalingga Kidul, MI Muhammadiyah Cabang, MI Muhammadiyah Wirasana, MI Muhammdaiyah Pesayangan, MI Istiqomah Sambas, dan MI Kalikabong pada bulan Mei 2021. Sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primernya berupa buku teks pelajaran pada kelas III dan data sekunder yang berupa kajian pustaka untuk melengkapi data primer. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan Teknik observasi, analisis teks dan studi Pustaka. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan komponen Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik untuk mengukur keabsahan data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa Buku Tematik Terpadu Kurikulum 2013 Tema 8 “Praja Muda Karana”, Cemara Tema 8 “Praja Muda Karana” 3b semester 2, Buku Pengayaan Tema 8 “Praja Muda Karana” Semester Genap, Buku Forum Tema 4 “Kewajiban dan Hakku” Semester Ganjil dan Buku Tematik Tema 7 “Perkembangan Teknologi” sudah sesuai dengan kriteria kelayakan buku teks.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the creativity of teacher pedagogy with creative and participatory learning in provoking the curiosity, activeness and enthusiasm of students. The application of pedagogical creativity as a search or an effective way to develop pedagogical creativity makes it possible to establish that innovative technologies have great potential in developing pedagogical creativity . Method The qualitative method was chosen to explore and give in-depth meaning to the data obtained and to be able to present more meaningful pedagogic creativity research results. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, starting with grouping the same data, then interpretation was carried out to give meaning to each sub-aspect and the relationship between one another. To carry out an analysis or interpretation of all aspects to understand the meaning of the relationship between one aspect and another which is the focus of further research is interpreted or interpreted. development of pedagogical creativity of teachers and students. The research findings show that many challenges to pedagogical creativity in pedagogical practice are manifested in the pattern of: 1) the effective application by a person of the experiences created in new conditions; 2) in repair known according to the new task; in the development of science and development; 3) in the ability to prove intuitive and pre-prepared decisions; 4) in the ability to dream, see near and distant prospects; 6) in the ability to develop ideas and see a series of options in their decisions; 7) to reveal the unknown regularity of previous training and education; 8) in the ability to conduct experiments, deeper research work. Thus, these findings can become the basis for further studies on improving and creating new approaches to the development of pedagogical creativity in the process of arts and culture craft education.
