This study aims to describe the quality of the odd semester final exam items for the Introduction to Editing course for the 2020/2021 academic year at the Indonesian Literature Program, Universitas Negeri Semarang. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The research subjects were 60 students. Data collection techniques were carried out by documenting. Quantitative data analysis based on level of difficulty, discriminating power, quality of distractors, validity, and reliability with 100 questions. The results of the analysis show that the quality of the odd semester final exam items in the Introduction to Editing course has a moderate level of difficulty, sufficient discriminating power, and very good distracting qualities. In addition, there are 68 valid items and 0.78 reliability in the high category. The conclusion of the study is that the odd semester final exam items for the Introduction to Editing subject need to be revised to improve the quality of the items.

Pesan yang disampaikan dalam wacana program Mata Najwa episode 7 Oktober 2020 bertajuk â€œMereka-Reka Cipta Kerjaâ€ amat menarik karena mengangkat isu terkini mengenai pro dan kontra disahkannya Undang-Undang Cipta Kerja (UU Cipta Kerja) atau Omnibus Law. Maksud, tujuan, dan pemikiran yang terekam dalam gelar wicara tersebut merepresentasikan keterwakilan pengejawantahan pemikiran dan penuangan emosi pihak pro dan kontra. Analisis dilakukan untuk mendeskripsi struktur teks dan konteks sosial. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis wacana kritis Teun A. Van Dijk. Pengumpulan data dengan cara transkripsi percakapan dalam episode tersebut. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan struktur teks berdasarkan elemen struktur makro, super struktur, dan struktur mikro berupa aspek semantik, sintaksis, stilistik, dan retoris mendasari keseluruhan wacana. Analisis terkait konteks sosial memberi gambaran keterwakilan pihak pro dan kontra dari narasumber-narasumber yang dihadirkan. Kedua pihak mempertahankan pendapat kelompok dengan apik, disertai argumen-argumen yang menguatkan, dan data-data sahih yang dihadirkan untuk memberi penjelasan tambahan. Van Dijk Abstract The Mata Najwa program episode 7 October 2020 entitled "Mereka-Reka Cipta Kerja" conveyed an interesting message by raising the latest issues regarding the pros and cons of the ratification of the Job Creation Act (UU Cipta Kerja) or the Omnibus Law. The aims, objectives, and discussions recorded in the talk show represent the representation of the thoughts and emotions of the pros and cons of the ratification of the policy. The analysis aims to describe the structure of the text and the social context of the discourse. The research method uses critical discourse analysis by Teun A. Van Dijk. Data collection by means of transcription of conversations in the episode. Data analysis using interactive model. The results of the analysis show the structure of the text based on the elements of macro structure, super structure, and micro structure in the form of semantic, syntactic, stylistic, and rhetorical aspects that underlie the whole discourse. The analysis related to the social context provides an overview of the representation of the pros and cons of the speakers presented in the talk show. Both parties defended the group's opinion well, accompanied by supporting arguments, and valid data were presented to provide additional explanations. Literary works are a result of the creativity of a literati, literary works can be in the form of novels, poems, and so on. This study examines social pathology in the novel Best Gift by J.S. Khairen. This study uses the study of literary sociology. Sociology discusses how a science in which is discussed how people's lives. Literary sociology is a science that links literary works with sociology. In research conducted in the novel Best Gift by J.S Khairen, the social symptoms studied are bad social behavior. In the novel Best Gift by J.S Khairen, it describes how the social dynamics experienced by the main character. This study aims to describe the form of social pathology and the factors that influence the occurrence of social pathology in the novel Best Gift by J.S. Khairen. This research data is in the form of sentence quotes which are forms or factors of social pathology in the Best Gift novel by J.S. Khairen. Data collection techniques use reading techniques and recording techniques. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research data validity technique uses theory triangulation. From this study found the form of social pathology and the factors affecting it. Forms of social pathology in J.S. Khairen's novel Best Gift include child exploitation, child abuse, fraud, drug sales, theft, kidnapping, and drug sales. The factors that influence social pathology in the novel Best Gift by J.S. Literary works are imaginative creations of authors reflecting upon the social environment of life. Literary works arise from contemplating the meanings and essence of life experienced, felt, witnessed, and expressed. This study examines the forms of emotional expression of the main characters in the "Lelaki-Lelaki Tanpa Perempuan" short story collection by Haruki Murakami. This study aims to describe the forms of emotional expression experienced by the main characters in the "Lelaki-Lelaki Tanpa Perempuan" short story collection by Haruki Murakami. The analysis of the forms of emotional expression of the main characters in the short story collection of "Lelaki-Lelaki Tanpa Perempuan" used a literary psychology approach. Emotional expression is rooted in inner conflict as it pertains to the psyche of an individual. The data for this study consisted of quoted sentences that represent the emotional expression of the main characters in the "Lelaki-Lelaki Tanpa Perempuan" short story collection by Haruki Murakami. A qualitative descriptive method was used to analyze the forms of emotional expression of the main characters. Data collection techniques involved reading and note-taking. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was employed through theoretical triangulation. This study reveals various forms of emotional expression of the main characters in the "Lelaki-Lelaki Tanpa Perempuan" short story collection by Haruki Murakami. These forms of emotional expression include disappointment, resignation, curiosity, worry, anxiety, confusion, fear, and sadness. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan secara rinci nilai tanggung jawab tokoh novel Cinta Suci Zahrana Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan untuk mengkaji novel Cinta Suci Zahrana ialah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini yaitu berupa sumber sekunder dari sebuah novel berjudul Cinta Suci Zahrana karya Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan melalui studi pustaka atau dengan membaca novel tersebut, sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan metode agih yang meliputi pengurangan data, pemaparan data, dan penarik simpulan atau verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan nilai tanggung jawab terdiri atas: (1) nilai tanggung jawab kepada Tuhan dari tokoh utama Zahrana yang mematuhi perintah Tuhan dan selalu beriman; (2) nilai tanggung jawab kepada masyarakat melalui tokoh utama Ibu dari Zahrana yang berusaha ikut serta dalam kegiatan masyarakat: (3) nilai tanggung jawab kepada diri sendiri melalui tokoh utama Zahrana dalam mengambil keputusan bagi dirinya; (4) nilai tanggung jawab kepada keluarga melalui tokoh orang tua Zahrana dalam menjaga dan melengkapi kebutuhan dalam rumah; (5) dan nilai tanggung jawab kepada bangsa dan negara melalui tokoh utama Zahrana yang senantiasa menjunjung tinggi pendidikan seperti masih membimbing mahasiswanya meskipun ia telah mengundurkan diri. Jadi disimpulkan bahwasanya novel Cinta Suci Zahrana mengandung 5 nilai tanggung jawab.

Jadi disimpulkan bahwasanya novel Cinta Suci Zahrana mengandung 5 nilai tanggung jawab.

Desa Margasana, Kecamatan Jatilawang, Kabupaten Banyumas merupakan salah satu wilayah yang mempunyai potensi ekonomis cukup besar dalam produk herbal. Namun, masyarakat Desa Margasana, Jatilawang, Kab. Banyumas belum mengetahui teknik pembuatan brosur sebagai media promosi atau iklan dengan bahasa yang efektif dan persuasif serta komoditas produk herbal yang bernilai ekonis tinggi.. Dengan demikian diperlukan kegiatan pelatihan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut.Tujuan kegiatan ini ialah (1) pelatihan teknik pembuatan brosur dan kemasan untuk promosi dengan bahasa yang efektif dan persuasif dan (2) pemberian wawasan tentang produk atau olahan herbal yang bernilai tinggi dari segi kesehatan dan ekonomi masyarakat. Masyarakat belum mengetahui teknik pembuatan brosur sebagai media promosi atau iklan dengan bahasa yang efektif dan persuasif. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pelatihan ini ialah (1) masyarakat memahami nilai jual produk olahan herbal sehingga akan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan (2) masyarakat penekun produk olahan herbal dapat membuat brosur pemasaran produk herbal dengan bahasa yang efektif dan persuasif sehingga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas nilai promosi produk olahan herbal.

Language has an important role in daily life, especially for communication between humans, including in buying and selling activities on social media, therefore the researcher conducted a study to reveal how the form and meaning of argot develops in the motorcycle buying and selling forum on Facebook, as well as how its use plays a role in strengthening social dynamics and community identity and this study aims to describe the use of argot in the motorcycle buying and selling forum that available on the Facebook platform. Argot, as a special form of language used by certain groups, in addition to this study is also to help members of the motorcycle buying and selling community to improve their strategies in terms of buying and selling and help increase knowledge for ordinary people, Through the study of sociolinguistic studies, this study examines the forms and meanings used by forum members, as well as their implications for social dynamics and interactions between members. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and content analysis from posts in the facebook forum for buying and selling CB/GL/TIGER motorcycles in the Purbalingga, Banjarnegara and Purwokerto areas. Data was collected through the ability to see and record techniques on posts and buying and selling interactions in the forum. The results of the study show that the use of argot in this forum not only serves as an effective communication tool, but also as a symbol of identity and solidarity of the motorcycle loving community. Researchers found 16 forms of argot and divided into 3 types, namely the discovery of 5 phrases, 12 abbreviations, 3 sentences. These findings confirm the importance of understanding the role of language in the formation and maintenance of online communities, as well as provide further insights into sociolinguistic dynamics in the digital realm.

The linguistic phenomenon in Panimbang Village, Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency, shows the continuity of the Sundanese language in the dominant area of the Javanese language, making it a linguistic context that needs to be studied empirically. This study aims to analyze the social speech of the Sundanese community in Panimbang Village, Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency, through a Sociolinguistic approach using the SPEAKING model developed by Dell Hymes. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques, namely observation and interviews, on various speech events in the social realm such as markets, religious activities, and community meetings. The analysis was carried out using an extralingual matching method to reveal the social and cultural elements behind the forms of social speech of the community in Panimbang village, Cimanggu district, Cilacap district. The results of the study showed that the eight components in the SPEAKING model including Setting and Scene, Participants, Ends, Act Sequence, Key, Instrumentalities, Norms of Interaction and Interpretation, and Genre were identified in the speech of the people of Panimbang Village, Cimanggu District, Cilacap Regency.The speech of the Sundanese people in Panimbang village functions not only as a means of communication, but also as a medium for the expression of values such as solidarity, familiarity, and cultural identity. The implications of this research can be used as material for Indonesian language learning and continuous research involving other language fields, namely ethnolinguistics, which connect language with cultural aspects. ABSTRAK Fenomena kebahasaan di Desa Panimbang, Kecamatan Cimanggu, Kabupaten Cilacap, menunjukkan keberlangsungan bahasa Sunda dalam wilayah dominan bahasa Jawa, menjadikannya konteks linguistik yang perlu dikaji secara empirik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tuturan sosial masyarakat Sunda di Desa Panimbang, Kecamatan Cimanggu, Kabupaten Cilacap, melalui pendekatan Sosiolinguitik dengan menggunakan model SPEAKING yang dikembangkan oleh Dell Hymes. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan wawancara, terhadap berbagai peristiwa tutur di ranah sosial seperti pasar, kegiatan keagamaan, dan rapat warga. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode padan ekstralingual untuk mengungkap unsur-unsur sosial dan budaya yang melatarbelakangi bentuk-bentuk tuturan sosial masyarakat di desa Panimbang, kecamatan Cimanggu, kabupaten Cilacap. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa delapan komponen dalam model SPEAKING meliputi Setting and Scene, Participants, Ends, Act Sequence, Key, Instrumentalities, Norms of Interaction and Interpretation, dan Genre teridentifikasi dalam tuturan masyarakat Desa Panimbang, Kecamatan Cimanggu, Kabupaten Cilacap. Tuturan masyarakat Sunda di desa Panimbang berfungsi tidak hanya sebagai sarana komunikasi, tetapi juga sebagai media ekspresi nilai-nilai sosial seperti solidaritas, keakraban, dan identitas budaya. Implikasi penelitian ini bisa dijadikan sebagai bahan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan penelitian berkelanjutan yang melibatkan bidang bahasa lain, yaitu etnolinguistik, yang menghubungkan bahasa dengan aspek budaya.

The phenomenon of language attitudes shown by Bandung athletes in badminton competitions is more positive than Purwokerto athletes. However, this statement is certainly still an assumption, which requires empirical study. Therefore, the study aims to elaborate on the comparison of the language attitudes of Purwokerto and Bandung athletes in Badminton competitions. The problem that arises is the comparison of what kind of language attitudes are contained in the speech of Purwokerto and Bandung athletes. This research was conducted using qualitative. The relevant theory to use is the theory of Garvin and Mathiot. The approach used is sociolinguistic. The data of this study is in the form of speech with the data source in the form of the results of recordings and observations. The data collection techniques used in this study are tapping techniques and recording techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is an extralingual matching method including stages 1) reduced data collection in the context of data availability, 2) identification of data in accordance with the focus of the research. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in language attitudes between Purwokerto and Bandung athletes, (1) the language attitudes shown by Purwokerto athletes were more positive because they tended to speech that referred to loyalty and awareness of language norms, while the results of the data (2) Bandung athletes showed a positive attitude in the form of language pride. The implications of this research can be an opportunity for the study of language in the field of sociolinguistics by involving cultural and diverse backgrounds, as well as the defense of language attitudes as an appropriate alternative to improve communication varied with the characteristics of the region between coaches and athletes. ABSTRAK Fenomena sikap bahasa yang ditunjukkan oleh atlet Bandung dalam kompetisi Bulu tangkis, lebih positif daripada atlet Purwokerto. Namun, pernyataan ini tentu masih menjadi asumsi, yang memerlukan pengkajian empirik. Oleh karena itu, Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguraikan perbandingan sikap bahasa atlet Purwokerto dan Bandung dalam kompetisi Bulu tangkis. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah perbandingan sikap bahasa seperti apa yang terdapat dalam tuturan atlet Purwokerto dan Bandung. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan kualitatif. Teori yang relevan untuk digunakan yaitu teori dari Garvin dan Mathiot. Pendekatan yang dipakai adalah sosiolinguistik. Data penelitian ini berupa tuturan dengan sumber datanya adalah berupa hasil dokumentasi rekaman dan observasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah teknik sadap dan teknik rekam. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan ekstralingual meliputi tahapan 1) pengumpulan data yang direduksi dalam konteks ketersediaan data, 2) pengidentifikasian data sesuai dengan fokus penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan sikap bahasa antara atlet Purwokerto dan Bandung, (1) sikap bahasa yang ditunjukkan oleh atlet Purwokerto lebih positif karena cenderung pada tuturan yang merujuk pada kesetiaan dan kesadaran adanya norma bahasa, sementara hasil data (2) atlet Bandung sikap bahasa yang ditunjukkan adalah sikap positif berupa kebanggaan bahasa. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat menjadi peluang untuk pengkajian bahasa dalam bidang sosiolinguistik dengan melibatkan latar budaya dan beragam, juga pemertahanan sikap bahasa sebagai alternatif yang tepat untuk meningkatkan komunikasi bervariasi dengan ciri khas daerahnya antara pelatih dan atlet.
