Background. A mother who has generally to give an increasing food before a baby has 6 month old, there is difficult to understand a new feed method which it’s more healthy. While this fact can annoyance the healthy of baby and the frequentations of visiting to the healthy servant is often more. Objective. This research to tendency to know a relation an increasing feeding at younger old with phase of visiting to healthy servant. Methods. Type of the research is observational of research which us a correlation kind for looking a condition objectively. The research has done in Sine Sragen with taking sample to 48 of baby at 6-12 months old. A total sampling method was used to take and interview. The data, then, was analyzed by using a nonparametric statistic, a bivariate technique, namely, with correlation analysis of Rank Spearman. Conclusions. Results of the research indicated that: (1) Increasing feed method for a baby at 6-12 months old in Sine Sragen that base done the research results is look in that an increasing feed except ASI was gift although the age of baby is not 6 month complete and there is often gift although a baby was suckled. (2) A baby with 6-12 months old in Sine is often visited to the healthy servant. A visiting to the healthy servant at is come in to often category that is 26 person, and than precisely category is 18 person, and rarely category is 4 person. High frequentation of visiting to the healthy servant because an often of the children have a diseases like diarrhea, allergic, or difficult to defecate. (3) From bivariate analysis with correlation equation, a correlation coefficient value of 0,575 was obtained with tcalculation > ttable (6,832 > 2,042) at significance level of 5%. It’s mean there is a positive relation that significance between an increasing feed at younger old with the level of visiting to the healthy servant. An increasing feeding that so early will make a healthy disturbing to the baby in other day.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) to describe the mistakes made by fifth graders at SDN Karangtengah I in solving HOTS questions on the addition and subtraction of fractions in grade V. 2) To describe the factors that caused fifth graders at SDN Karangtengah I to make mistakes in solve HOTS questions on the material of addition and subtraction of fractions in class V. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, with data sources from students and teachers of class V SDN Karangtengah I. Data collection techniques use written tests, interviews, observations and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is the analysis of the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that 1) in solving the HOTS questions for adding and subtracting fractions, the fifth-grade students of SDN Karangtengah I make errors in encoding error with a percentage of 41.94 percent, process skill errors with a percentage of 37.9 percent, transformation errors with a percentage of 13, 71 percent, conprehension errors with a percentage of 4.84 percent, and reading errors with a percentage of 1.61 percent. 2) The factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving HOTS questions on addition and subtraction material are 2 factors, namely external factors and internal factors. The external factors that cause students to make mistakes because the learning process does not get used to the use of HOTS questions. Furthermore, the internal factors that cause students to make mistakes are a) the encoding error indicator is that students do not know the next step after carrying out the calculation process and students do not know how to conclude answers; b) the process skill error indicator is that students' numeracy skills are low, students do not know the concepts of fractional arithmetic operations and porogapit; c) the transformation error indicator is that students cannot determine arithmetic operations; d) on the comprehension error indicator, students have difficulty in writing down the information contained in the questions, students do not write down the information contained in the questions and students are in a hurry to take the test; e) the reading error indicator is that students are not careful in reading the questions and students are not able to understand the keywords or sentences in the questions; and the most common internal factor is the intellectual ability of students and students experience errors in the previous stage.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. This research is a Pre-Experimental Design research with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design design. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques in this study using tests. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistical analysis. Hypothesis testing uses non-parametric tests, namely the Mann-Whitney test. The results showed a very significant effect with the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on the learning outcomes of IPAS fourth grade students of SD N Randusari Yogyakarta. The effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can be seen from the increase in student pretest and posttest results. The average pretest score is 66.14 while the average posttest is 83.86. The results of the hypothesis test calculation using the Mann-whitney test found Asymp. Sig of 0.000. In accordance with the decision-making rules in the Mann-whitney test that the Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) <0.05 or 0.000 <0.05, this shows that the hypothesis is accepted. Learning outcomes increased through the average results of the pretest posttest obtained by students and the results of hypothesis testing, it was concluded that there was a very significant effect with the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on IPAS learning outcomes in fourth grade students of Randusari Yogyakarta State Elementary School.

Abstract

The lack of learning media learning that dares make students find it challenging to learn, especially on the basic concepts of science. An alternative solution for students to learn independently is by developing modules with good module characteristics. This study aims to produce a product in the form of a valid science basic concept module according to the characteristics of a suitable module. This type of research is research and development research with Borg & Gall development procedures. The subjects of this study were three experts in assessment and one evaluation. The population in this study were elementary school teacher study students who took science courses, and the sample of this study was 9. The data collection technique in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires and product validation sheets. The data analysis technique was carried out using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of this study indicate that the developed science module has clear, independent, independent, adaptive, user-friendly instructions with attractive graphics. The module validation results obtained an average of 103, with a very good category. The results of the response questionnaire distributed to ten students showed that as many as 80% of students added that they were accommodating in independent learning during the pandemic, and as many as 20%. Based on the modules developed were pretty helpful in implementing the learning process during the pandemic. It proves that the module developed is worthy of being used as a source of independent learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

Background: This study addresses the low levels of student motivation and learning outcomes in the integrated science and social studies (IPAS) subject among fourth-grade students at SDN Mandungan. It aims to investigate the effectiveness of the Science, Environment, Technology, and Society (Salingtemas) approach in improving both motivation and academic performance. Method: The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design, implemented over two cycles involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The participants were 30 fourth-grade students during the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through observation sheets and tests, then analyzed using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Findings: The findings showed that the Salingtemas approach led to notable improvements: students’ motivation increased from 61.2% at the initial stage to 73.5% in Cycle I and 79% in Cycle II. Similarly, the average learning score rose from 73.33 to 83.3, exceeding the Minimum Mastery Criteria and achieving over 80% in class-wide mastery. These results indicate that the Salingtemas approach effectively enhances both motivation and learning outcomes in elementary IPAS education. This demonstrates that the Salingtemas approach significantly enhances both motivation and learning outcomes.
