Abstract

The purpose of this study was 1) to know the concept of conducting ceremonial activities in Bumirejo State Elementary School 5 and 2) to describe the ceremonial activities in developing the discipline character of students. The method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative method with interviews, observation, and documentation that aims to get a general understanding of social conditions from the perspective of participants (Rahmat, 2009). The results of this study are 1) the concept of conducting ceremonial activities in Bumirejo State Elementary School 5 and 2) can describe the ceremonial activities in developing the discipline character of students. So, the conclusion of this study is that the ceremonial activities can develop the discipline character of students in Bumirejo State Elementary School 5.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to : (1) the existence of children with special needs in elementary schools that organize inclusive education in Kebumen District, (2) inclusion index achieved in elementary schools that organize inclusive education in Kebumen District, and (3) Implementation of school inclusive education Basic in Kebumen Regency. Inclusion index is obtained through observation in the learning process in class based on 18 indicators. The study was conducted on 10 classes from 4 elementary schools in Kebumen District which organized inclusive education. Inclusive school implementation data were analyzed using an ideal instrument index.The results of the study show that ((1) the number of inclusive elementary school children varies from 1 to 3 children). ((2) The average inclusion index is 31.46 with the ideal inclusion index 54). ((3) Implementation of inclusive education is 227 with an ideal total score of 381).The conclusion of this study is the profile of the implementation of inclusive education in the Kebumen District Primary School shows an average of 59.6% in the medium category.

Abstract

Reading interest is main factor to increase quality of student. The study activities in the school, highly reading interest of student is a something hoped  for all people. This study aimed to determine the correlation of reading interest to learning outcomes in Indonesian language. This research focused in a something impact of reading interest to learning outcomes. The method used is descriptive method with technic questionnaire, observation, and interview. Research sample were students of class 5 numbering 20 people. Students read well fall into the category with a percentage 78,86 % while the study result in the category fairly with the average value of 58,9. Based on the correlation test with significance level α = 5% concluded there is a correlation between reading interest by learning outcomes in learning Indonesian fifth grade students of State Elementary School 2 Karang Tanjung with r table ≥ r count or 0.444 ≥ 0.029.
