Abstract

Telah dilakukan identifikasi masalah pada beberapa SMP di kabupaten Ngada terkait dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA. Permasalahan yang teridentifikasi yaitu masih minimn ya penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran IPA di sekolah serta kesulitan guru dalam memperoleh media tersebut. Berdasarkan uraian identifikasi di atas, dilakukan upaya pemecahan masalah melalui pendampingan penggunaan media pembelajaran IPA berbasis produk lokal rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih berarti dan kontekstual bagi siswa. Selain itu, untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tersedia di sekitar mereka yang dapat ditemukan dengan mudah. Mitra kegiatan ini yaitu guru dan siswa SMP di kabupaten Ngada yaitu SMPN 1 Bajawa, SMPN 2 Bajawa, SMP Soegijapranata Mataloko, SMPN 1 Golewa, SMPN 4 Golewa, dan SMP Citra Bakti. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini berupa pendampingan dengan tahapan 1) Persiapan, 2) Pengembangan materi pembelajaran, 3) Pengenalan dan demonstrasi langsung, 4) Proyek kolaboratif, dan 5) Evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 65 persen menjadi 82 persen pada posttest, dengan peningkatan sebesar 17 persen . Angket kepuasan yang diberikan kepada siswa dan guru menunjukkan bahwa 91persen siswa merasa lebih tertarik mempelajari IPA, dan 95 persen guru merasa terbantu dengan metode pembelajaran ini. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pembelajaran kontekstual yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan asesmen dalam pembelajaran bola voli serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan keterampilan dasar dan partisipasi siswa di SDK Kisanata. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan asesmen dalam pembelajaran bola voli dapat meningkatkan keterampilan dasar siswa seperti servis bawah, passing bawah, dan passing atas. Selain itu, penerapan asesmen formatif dan sumatif mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif, percaya diri, dan bekerja sama selama proses pembelajaran. Guru juga mampu memberikan umpan balik yang membangun serta menyesuaikan strategi pembelajaran sesuai kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa asesmen bukan hanya alat evaluasi, tetapi juga bagian integral dari proses pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi, partisipasi, dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pendidikan jasmani.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of manipulative movement learning strategies on improving the coordination and dexterity of elementary school students in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a one-group pretest–posttest design. The subjects were elementary school students at SDK Regina Pacis who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Treatment was given through the implementation of manipulative movement learning strategies based on play activities and simple games adapted to the developmental characteristics of elementary school students. The research instruments included a coordination test in the form of a throwing and catching ball test, an agility test in the form of a shuttle run, and observations during the learning process. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed an increase in students' coordination and dexterity after the implementation of the manipulative movement learning strategy. The t-test results showed a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). Furthermore, observations indicate that students are more active, enthusiastic, and confident in participating in Physical Education (PJOK) lessons. Therefore, it can be concluded that manipulative movement learning strategies are effective in improving coordination and dexterity in elementary school students and supporting active and meaningful PJOK learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the implementation of sports massage as a post-training recovery method for futsal athletes at SMAS Regina Pacis Bajawa. The study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, involving 15 futsal athletes from grades X and XI and their coach as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that sports massage is applied after training and matches, focusing on the thighs, calves, waist, and back muscles using effleurage, petrissage, friction, vibration, tapotement, and walken techniques for 10–20 minutes per athlete. Athletes responded positively, reporting increased relaxation, reduced muscle soreness, and improved readiness for subsequent training sessions.

Abstract

Service skill is one of the fundamental techniques that plays an important role in table tennis performance. However, the service ability of junior high school students is still not optimal, indicating the need for an effective and structured training approach. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of mentoring through a drill training model in improving table tennis service skills of students at SMPSK Regina Pacis Bajawa. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a training mentoring design. The research subjects were students who participated in table tennis learning or training activities. The mentoring program was implemented through structured and repetitive service drills accompanied by direct guidance and feedback. Data were collected using service skill tests, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed an improvement in students’ table tennis service skills after the implementation of the drill-based mentoring model, particularly in terms of technical execution, service accuracy, and consistency. In addition, students demonstrated increased motivation and self-confidence during the training process. Therefore, mentoring through a drill training model is effective as a learning strategy to enhance table tennis service skills among junior high school students.
