Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the use of relistic mathematics education model based tabut ethnomatematics on mathematical communication skills. This research is quantitative. The method used quasi experimental design with the matching only pretest-posttest group design. The population in this study is all students of class IV SD is tabut harmony familly. Subjects in this study was study group IV A in SDN 09 Kota Bengkulu as experimental class and study group IV C in SDN 02 Kota Bengkulu as cotrol class. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instrument used description test sheet. Taking the test twice before and after giving treatment to sample class. Of this research by using SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on analysis of research data is the result of difference between the pretest-posttest control class and experimental class. This difference is evidenced by the significance value od the t test 0,00 < 0,05 means.From these results, it can be concluded that there are difference in the use of relistic mathematics education models bases tabut etnomatematics on mathematical communication skills.Keywords: Realistic Mathematics Education Model, tabut ethnomatematics, Communication Skills, Mathematics

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the  Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model assisted by visual aids and to analyze the increase in student learning outcomes. This type of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research subject was the teacher and fifth-grade students at SDN 44 Bengkulu Selatan, totaling 12 students. The research instrument is the observation sheet and test sheet. The data were analyzed using the formula for the average score, and the formula for the average value and percentage of classical learning completeness. The results showed that the implementation of the model in the first cycle was 62.5 with category B (good), and experienced an increase in cycle II 77 with very good category (SB). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle of classical learning mastery were 75% with sufficient criteria (C), an increase in the second cycle of 92% with good criteria (B). In conclusion, the application of the  Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model assisted by visual aids can improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine how the utilization of the Assemblr EDU application impacts the academic performance of fifth-grade students in thematic science subjects within Cluster III Elementary Schools in the City of Bengkulu. Employing a quantitative approach, the research adopts a quasi-experimental design known as The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population comprises fifth-grade students from Cluster III Elementary Schools in Bengkulu, with the sample selected via Cluster Random Sampling. Specifically, students from State Elementary School 57 form the experimental group, while those from State Elementary School 17 constitute the control group. Data collection involves administering a written test consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions as both pretest and posttest measures. Following the analysis of posttest scores, the obtained significance value (sig. 2-tailed) falls below 0.05, indicating a discernible difference in posttest outcomes between the experimental and control groups. Consequently, it can be inferred that the utilization of the Assemblr EDU application correlates with enhanced learning outcomes in thematic science subjects among fifth-grade students in Cluster III Elementary Schools in Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes by applying Realistic Mathematics Education model assisted by canva media. The research instruments were observation sheets and test sheets. Data collection techniques are through observation, testing, and documentation. Data from the results of the first observation were analyzed using descriptive kualitatif. The average results of student activity in cycle I obtained a score of 32.5 with good criteria, which increased in cycle II with a score of 41.5 with very good criteria. Meanwhile test data where analyzed using the formula the average and the percentage of learning completeness. The learning outcomes of students in the knowledge aspect in the first cycle averaged 64.25 with 45% classical learning completeness  and 84.25 in the second cycle with 85% classical learning completeness. The conclusion from this study is that the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education model  assisted by Canva media can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how students' inventiveness in creating ornamental flags during fine arts instruction at SDN Gugus XIX, Bengkulu City, is impacted by video tutorials. This kind of study uses a quasi-experimental design, matching just pretest-posttest control groups, using quantitative methods. SDN Gugus was the research population. Cluster Random Sampling is used in the sampling method. The tool that was employed is the assessment rubric used during the pretest and posttest. Data analysis techniques include quantitative analysis with descriptive statistics, prerequisite test analysis as well as t-test inferential analysis. Considering the outcomes of inferential analysis, the value of tcount (3.494) > ttable (2006). Sig value. (2-tailed) is (0.001) < (0.05). The average creativity score of experimental class students (65.56) and control class (62.41). The difference in scores occurred due to different treatment between the control class and the experimental class during learningWithin the trial class the learning was given treatment using video tutorials, whereas the learning in the control group used PPT media. In light of this, it is known that there is an influence of video tutorials on students' creativity in making decorative flags in fine arts learning at SDN Gugus XIX, Bengkulu City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Smartbox learning media based on QR Code on the learning interest of fourth-grade students in the IPAS subject at SD Negeri Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. The research uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The design applied is The Matching Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study consisted of fourth-grade students from SD Negeri Gading Cempaka District, a school with A accreditation, implementing the Merdeka curriculum, and supported by adequate technology such as Chromebooks, projectors, and WiFi networks. Sampling used the Cluster Random Sampling technique. The selected experimental group was class Four A at SDN 05 Bengkulu City, and the control group was class Four B at SDN 24 Bengkulu City. The tool used for both the pretest and posttest was a 10-statement questionnaire. Methods for analyzing the data included t-test inferential analysis, precondition tests, and descriptive statistics. The experimental group outperformed the control group on average after the intervention, with a posttest score of 40.34 compared to 35.38. H₀ is rejected and Ha is approved since the t-test results demonstrated a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05. Therefore, Smartbox media that utilizes QR codes has a beneficial impact on students' motivation to study.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the attitude of cooperation during the process of decorating tablecloths with patchwork in Grade V Fine Arts learning at SD Negeri 76 Bengkulu City. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method with Grade V students as the subjects. The main research instrument is the researcher, supported by observation guidelines for cooperative attitudes and work results, as well as interview guidelines. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings show that cooperative attitudes were assessed based on four indicators across three activity stages. In the stages of preparing tools and materials and creating patterns, Groups 1 and 3 did not demonstrate cooperative attitudes, particularly in respecting individual differences. These groups were not conducive to pattern making and showed a lack of listening to each other’s opinions. In contrast, Groups 2, 4, and 5 exhibited cooperative behavior by preparing thoroughly and following the teacher’s instructions, as well as listening to their group members’ ideas During the stages of designing, cutting, and sewing the patterns, most groups demonstrated improved cooperation. This was evident in the active participation of all members and in completing the tasks collaboratively.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effects of animated video material on the academic performance of fifth-grade students at SDN Bengkulu City. This quantitative study used the Quasi Experiment method and a matched-pairs pretest-posttest control-group layout. Students in the fifth grade at SDN Cluster XII in Bengkulu City are the subjects of this study. This research included 28 students from Class V SDN 99 in the City of Bengkulu and 32 students from Class V SDN 81 in the same city. Cluster random sampling is the method that will be used. A sheet with multiple-choice questions served as the test's medium. Pre- and post-lesson exams were administered to students in both the experimental and control groups. Descriptive analysis, precondition tests, and inferential testing were all used in this study's examination of the collected data. Based on the data and analysis, it was determined that the t-test for scientific themes has a t-count value of 4.116 and a t-table value of 2.002, whereas the same test for Indonesian subjects has a t-count value of 4.463 and a t-table value of 2.002. Using a tcount > table at the 5% level of significance, we find that class V SDN Bengkulu City students' learning outcomes improve when animated video media is used for thematic learning.

Abstract

Bengkulu memiliki potensi alam yang melimpah. Namun potensi tersebut belum dikelola dengan baik dikarenakan kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang mumpuni. Upaya peningkatan sumber daya manusia dalam pengelolaan potensi alam lokal dapat dimulai sejak pendidikan dasar. Artikel ini berisi tentang deskripsi penerapan pembelajaran muatan lokal di SDN Kota Bengkulu dengan menggunakan aplikasi mobile. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SDN 8 tentang pembelajaran muatan lokal. Setelah itu, para guru didorong untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi khususnya aplikasi mobile dalam menerapkan pembelajaran muatan lokal tersebut. Kegiatan ini berhasil mengembangkan kurikulum muatan lokal bermuatan potensi alam bengkulu beserta perangkat pembelajarannya untuk kelas 4 semester 1. Selama penerapan, guru juga berhasil memanfaatkan berbagai aplikasi mobile untuk membelajarkan muatan lokal potensi alam bengkulu. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini telah meningkatkan kesadaran pihak sekolah untuk mengangkat potensi yang ada di sekitarnya dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas. Kepala sekolah, guru, dan para staf sangat antusias dengan kegiatan ini melalui respon positif, dukungan, kritik, dan saran untuk pengembangan pembelajaran muatan lokal lebih lanjut.
