Abstract

Fever seizures in children caused by an increase in body temperature of more than 380C. In Indonesia, febrile seizures occur in 2-4% of children aged 6 months-5 years. Fever seizures in children can be influenced by various factors including age, gender, high temperature, family history of seizures, infectious diseases. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of family anxiety during the Covid 19 pandemic regarding treatment and the incidence of withdrawal from schizophrenic patients at Dr. RM. Soedjarwadi, Central Java Province. This type of research is an observational analytic, case control study design with a retrospective approach. The sampling technique used total sampling. The number of children with febrile seizures was 44 respondents and 44 respondents did not have fever seizures so that the total sample was 88 respondents. Retrieval of data using medical records. Univariate statistical test using frequency distribution, bivariate using chi square test and multivariate using multiple logistic regression test. The results obtained in the case group, most of the respondents were 12-36 months (61.4%), male (65.9%), had a body temperature> 380C (59.1%), no history of febrile seizures. in the family (72.7%) and there is an infectious disease (97.7%), while the control group is mostly respondents aged 12-36 months (65.9%), male (54.5%), body ?380C (65.9%), there was no family history of febrile seizures (90.9%) and there was an infectious disease (86.4%). Factors associated with the incidence of febrile seizures were body temperature (p value 0.019), family history of seizures (p value 0.027) and childhood infectious disease (p value 0.049) while age (p value 0.448) and gender (p value 0.276) were not. associated with the incidence of febrile seizures. The conclusion of this study is that the most influencing factor on febrile seizures is a family history of seizures with a p value of 0.034 (p <0.05), children who have a history of family febrile seizures are at risk of 3.902 times experiencing febrile seizures.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of early mobilization on the pain of laparotomy postoperative patients. This type of research is called quantitative research. The design in this study is pre-experimental, with a one-group pre-test-post-test design. Sampling using purposive sampling techniques The number of respondents was 15 post-laparotomy patients. Data analysis was conducted univariately and bivariately (Wilxocon Signed Rank Test). The results of the study found patient characteristics: the average age was 36.8 years, the gender was mostly women (66.7%), the work of most housewives (46.7%), and education was mostly high school (53.3%). The results of bivariate analysis found that the pv value was 0.000 with α: 0.05. Conclusion: Early mobilization is effective in reducing pain in post-laparotomy patients.

Abstract

Lifestyle changes and urbanization are important causes of health problems, especially diabetes mellitus and have continued to increase throughout this millennium. Diabetes mellitus is listed as the sixth leading cause of death in the world. If prevention and treatment is not carried out, diabetes mellitus can cause complications. One complication can be diabetic ulcers. Prevention of diabetic ulcers can be done, among other things, by evaluating the feet and the shape of the feet so that they can determine appropriate footwear, examining the feet and legs, checking the pulse, and assessing the strength of the feet. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of education and assessing foot health status in preventing the occurrence of diabetic ulcers. The method uses a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was 30 posyandu cadres in Dukuh Village, Bayat District. The sampling technique in this research was the Total Sampling method. Instruments using leaflets for conducting education and HFSQ questionnaires for assessing foot health status. Data were tested using the Mann Whitney test. The result is a P value of 0.00, which means there is a difference in the average foot health status score after being given education about foot care. The average pretest score was 16.84, increasing to 18.15. The conclusion is that education can change foot care behavior by assessing foot health status.
