Abstract

This study aims to know whether teaching materials developed were valid and practical at the triangle of material through PMRI in junior high school. The research began by interviewing teachers in SMPN 2 Bengkulu city was obtained information that in mathematics on triangular material still has difficulty at understanding the concept. The teaching material developed in this study was in the student books, teacher books and lesson plan (RPP). Development of this resource referred to the mode of development of 4-D (four-D) that was Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate. However, this study was only done until the stage of development (development) only. At the defining stage has been done as much as five steps of the activity. At the design stage, researchers prepared a prototype by designing instructional materials in the form of books developed through PMRI.Keywords  :Teaching materials, Triangle, PMRI

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a difference in the ability to understand the mathematical problems of students through the VAK learning model using VCD and print learning media. This type of research is an experiment using pretest-posttest control design. The sample of this study were three classes, 2 experimental classes and 1 control class. The results showed that the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using VCD learning media in the initial test was 46.31 while in the final test it was 83.56; the average value of student learning outcomes through the VAK learning model using print learning media (LKS) in the initial test of 37.31 while in the final test amounted to 72.21; and the average value of student learning outcomes through the conventional VAK learning model in the initial test was 45.34 while the final test was 55.5. The results of the values of these three classes were tested statistically using One way Anava at significant (α = 5%) to determine whether there were differences. From the results of the one way anava test there was a significant difference between the VAK learning model using VCD learning media, the VAK learning model using printed learning media (LKS), and conventional learning models. Keywords: Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) Learning Models, Mathematical Problem Solving Capabilities, VCD Learning Media

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa berdasarkan masalah yang bersifat terbuka. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 10 kota Bengkulu pada kelas VIII D. Instrument yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah  soal-soal terbuka yang memungkinkan siswa menyelesaikannya dengan beragam cara yang memiliki satu jawaban benar. Hal ini memungkinkan siswa untuk mengeksplor pengetahuannya secara luas. Pada  penelitian ini  ranah kemampuan berpikir  kreatif  matematis  meliputi indikator lancar (fluence), luwes (Flexibility), asli (originality) dan Elaborasi (elaboration).  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terlihat bahwa  permasalahan open ended dapat menstimulan kemampuan berpikir kreatif  matematis  siswa. Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and practical Interactive Multimedia-Based Student Worksheet (LKS) to foster students’ mathematical creative thinking skills. The research adopts a development research design using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis (curriculum, students, and learning material), Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Instruments used in this study consist of validation sheets for learning tools and student response questionnaires for measuring practicality. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu City with Grade X students during the 2024/2025 academic year, focusing on the topic of arithmetic sequences and series. The results demonstrate that the developed interactive multimedia-based LKS is both valid and practical. Expert validation results indicate that the material aspect achieved an average score of 3.61 and the media aspect achieved 3.67, both categorized as “highly appropriate.” In terms of practicality, analysis of student response questionnaires yielded a score of 78.3%, which also falls into the “highly practical” category. These findings suggest that the developed LKS is a feasible and effective tool for enhancing students’ mathematical creative thinking skills in secondary education settings.
