Abstract

There are still many work processes that are done manually which require someone to have more abilities in bones and muscles. However, a person's ability is also limited, so that when doing manual work, muscle complaints often occur, namely Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). Activities carried out at PT VWX are still manual, especially in the drum reception and spare part material storage, so there are many complaints in this activity. This study aims to determine the subjective complaints of MSDs, the level of ergonomics risk and the relationship between work posture, age, body mass index, exercise habits and smoking habits on MSDs complaints. The instruments used are NBM questionnaire, work posture pictures and worker characteristics questionnaire. The NBM questionnaire showed that subjective complaints were mostly felt on the back with a score of 35 (87.5%). The method used is the REBA method with the calculation results having a high level of risk, namely in the drum reception section an average score of 9 and in the spare part material storage section an average score of 8.3. Based on the results of research tests related to MSDs complaints are work posture, age and body mass index, with a significance value of <0.05, while those that are not related to MSDs complaints are exercise habits and smoking habits, with a significance value of > 0.05.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The goal of this research was to look at the intensity of machines and equipment in areas one and two of production, as well as the impact of machines and equipment on job weariness at PT EOB. Area one has the maximum intensity of production created by machinery and equipment at 109 dBA, whereas area two has the highest intensity at 103 dBA. A production questionnaire was sent to all operators in the sampled region in addition to utilizing tools to estimate the noise level received. The job tiredness level instrument, on the other hand, has an average score of 27.15, with a proportion of weariness of 75%. The value of r = 0.794, as determined by statistical tests utilizing Person Correlation, indicates that there is a reasonably strong correlation and close association where the value of r is in the range of 0.61-0.80. This indicates that the more work tiredness there is, the more work fatigue there is. The test yielded a 0.05 probability significance. As a result, it may be argued that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, implying that noise has an influence on job weariness.

Abstract

This firm still relies on physical labor to complete its tasks. Based on prior findings, it is anticipated that there may be instances where workers' work posture will be incorrect when doing duties in a bent position. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) can be caused by poor work posture. The goal of this study is to figure out how workers stand at work. REBA is the method that was employed. Pain was found in the waist, right wrist, left wrist, left calf, right calf, and back, according to the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. Calculations were made using the REBA technique based on these data, and a score of 8 was obtained, putting it in the category of high danger and requiring rapid repair.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at the factors that impact the rate of work accidents among Tofu Kharisma Factory employees. Three independent variables, namely technical, human, and environmental factors, and one dependent variable, work accidents, are used in this study. Multiple linear regression was utilized in this research. This study's premise is that technological, human, and environmental factors all have a major impact on employee workplace accidents. Then there's a partial effect, with human factors influencing work accidents, technical aspects influencing work accidents, and environmental elements influencing work accidents. The following findings are derived based on the calculation results. employee accidents are influenced by a combination of technological, human, and work environment variables. Furthermore, employee work accidents are influenced by a combination of human, technological, and environmental variables.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe assessments in the risk assessment are Severity (S) and Likelihood (L). One of the processes carried out at this company is the process of spray painting in confined space. Work accidents that have occurred are 75 incidents. The work accident was caused by spray material that hit workers causing injuries to the eyes, namely 12 (16%) incidents, work accidents caused by loose hose equipment that hit workers and caused injuries to workers' body parts, namely 60 (80%) incidents because the machine is 3 (4%) events. Based on the level of seriousness of the accident, fatal events have never occurred but there have been serious work accidents that have resulted in Loss Time Injuries, namely occupational diseases such as hearing loss, lung disease and eye disease. The results of the discussion show the highest score with a value of 12 with a high level of risk. The lowest score is with a value of 2 with a low level of risk. The moderate score is at a score of 6 with a moderate risk level. Handling carried out is engineering, administration and use of PPE.

Abstract

Work fatigue is a common problem in the work area, but it is often ignored in the interest of the company's smooth production. Uncontrolled work fatigue can have a negative impact on workers both physically and psychologically. In this study, workers were given a workload of up to 35 kg hours, often they worked overtime for up to 12 hours per day, causing work fatigue. The purpose of this study was to determine the category of work fatigue and the factors that affect work fatigue of warehouse workers at PT Nok Fredeunberg Batam Batam. The method used in this study is a subjective self-assessment test method, which can be used to measure the subjective level of work fatigue of the workforce. The results of this study are the fatigue category of warehouse workers at PT Nok Fredeunberg Batam is in the high fatigue category, followed by the moderate fatigue category. Spearman correlation test results show that working hours (sig = 0.00), workload (sig = 0.00) affect work fatigue. In order to be able to advise warehouse workers to carry out their duties or workloads in accordance with their physical abilities and work abilities, it is expected that there will be a break. Then it is hoped that the leadership of PT Nok Fredeunberg Batam Batam can add mechanical equipment to lift and move goods and rotate working hours ideally.

In all industrial activities, the role of humans as a source of labor remains dominant. Unlike cars that can be repaired and replaced. Whoever is an employee still has limitations. In manual labor, people are at a greater risk of contracting MSD, which can lead to unsafe working conditions. Practice lifting a drink box in your CV. The AUDIO NEW LIGHT can be dangerous when lifting drawers due to manual and unsanitary working positions. Abstract

PT XYZ is a company engaged in ship construction and ship repair. In the field of ship construction this company uses Koch drilling machines in the production process of furniture and other supporting goods on board. Continuous use of the engine cannot be avoided from damage or decreased engine performance. Damage to the machine can reduce the effectiveness in the use of machinery in activities for the production process. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a management principle to increase the productivity and production efficiency of companies by using machines effectively. The object of the study is PT XYZ The purpose of this study was to find out the overall equipment effectivity (OEE) value of drilling machines, as well as to find out the causes and proposed improvements to koch drilling machines. Conclusions that can be taken based on the results of OEE calculations on drilling machines during the period May - October 2022 obtained overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) values ranging between 59.6% to 87.7%. This condition indicates that the ability of the machine in achieving the target and in achieving the effectiveness of the use of machinery or equipment does not achieve the ideal conditions <90%.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Many work error that occur are caused by human themselves, which are called human error. Human error that often occur in production activityes can harm thet company in achieving production effectivenes and eficiency. Therefore, it’s necesary to improve the performance of workers in order to reduce work error that often occur. Several methods for identifying human errors in clude the SHERPA and HEART methods. SHERPA is a qualitative human errors analysis method that uses task level as the basic input. HEART, on the other hand, is a quick, easy and accessible way to determine the risk of human error. PT Duta Logistik Asia is one of the companies that produces activated carbon in the city of Batam. The activated carbon process goes throuh several stages, namely the heating proces, the sieving process, and the packaging process. Based on the information obtained from the company, errors often occur when doing work which greatly affects the safety of workers and production output as a result of human error. Finding recommendations that are needed to reduce error in the activated carbon production proces using the SHERPA method are to carry out regular and thorough inspections and work on each process and provide periodic training to employees. The probability of error in every work activity in the activated carbon production process using the HEART method wherye the largest nominal human error probability value is 0.16. The process that may occur in human errors in the activated carbon production stage at PT Duta Logistik Asia is through the highest Human Error Probability (HEP) value of 0.544 which is found in the heating and packaging process of activated carbon.
