Abstract

The objective of this research is to ascertain the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) profile of prospective mathematics teachers in the microteaching course. The research methodology employed a survey research design. The target population for this investigation comprises prospective mathematics teacher students enrolled at a University in Banten, Indonesia. The sample for this study comprises students in their sixth semester of the Mathematics Education program who are currently enrolled in the microteaching course. The inclusion criteria for the sample require that these students have successfully completed coursework in foundational technology use, pedagogical principles, and both basic and advanced mathematics subjects. The research findings indicate that the majority of students exhibit a high level of Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) and Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK), with percentages of 50% and 81.25% respectively. On the other hand, the majority of students demonstrate a moderate level of Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), with percentages of 56.25% and 31.25% respectively. Moreover, a significant portion of students show a low level of Technological Knowledge (TK) at 31.25%, Content Knowledge (CK) at 37.5%, and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) at 37.5%. It conluded, most prospective tezchers use the Technological Conten Knowledge (TCK) and Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) domains to conduct learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the implementation of the Discovery Learning Model on Critical Thinking Skills in Mathematics on Integer Material. Students VII (Seven) of SMPN 1 Malingping. The method in this study using quantitative with the experimental plan used in this study is Pretest-Post-test Control Group Design (Sugiyono, 2011). In this design there are two groups that are randomly selected, then given a pre-test to determine the initial condition is there a difference between the experimental group and the control group. The experimental class chosen by the researcher is students of SMPN Negeri 1 Malingping class VII A with a total of 25 students, and as a control class, namely VII B with a total of 25 students in the mathematics subject of Integer material. Based on the results of the study H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely the average learning outcomes of students about the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class, namely Class VII-A with the Discovery Learning treatment is better than the control class, namely Class VII-B which is given treatment with the Conventional Learning method. So the author concludes "There is a positive influence on students' critical thinking skills by using Discovery Learning media on class VII-A students of SMP Negeri 1 Malingping in the 2023/2023 Academic Year. Abstract

This research examines students' creative thinking in learning mathematics at the SMP/MTs level using video learning media. This research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods. The respondents in this research were MTs YIU Pasirgadung students, where there were 19 people in class VIII A and 19 people in class VIII B. The aspects studied are related to students' creative mathematical thinking regarding the use of instructional video media in mathematics learning to improve students' mathematical creative thinking abilities. The research results showed that some students experienced an increase in creative thinking abilities after participating in learning using learning video media. These findings suggest the need for further research to explore more deeply the application of learning video media in improving students' creative thinking abilities. Thus, it is hoped that the use of learning video media can form students' creative thinking patterns in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pada saat proses pembelajaran matematika ditemukan kurangnya minat belajar dan kepercayaan diri siswa, sehingga hasil belajar mereka terbilang rendah dan tidak sesuai dengan KKM yang telah ditetapkan oleh sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeksripsikan minat belajar matematika dan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Kualitatif Deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Askep Smk Budi Utama Panimbang sebanyak 22 siswa, dengan mengambil 6 subjek untuk dilakukan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa minat belajar matematika siswa dalam kategori berminat yaitu 73,57%, sedangkan untuk kepercayaan diri siswa dalam kategori tinggi yaitu 70,14%. Dengan meningkatnya minat belajar dan kepercayaan diri siswa membuat hasil belajarĀ  siswa menjadi lebih baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan posttest siswa dengan peningkatan sebesar 24,01%. Siswa pun merasa senang dengan pendekatan yang digunakan, karena siswa beranggapan dengan pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah memahami materi yang diajarkan oleh guru. Semakin tinggi minat belajar dan kepercayaan diri siswa, hasil belajar yang didapatkannya pun lebih baik. Pendekatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Contextual Teaching And Learning dapat meningkatkan minat belajar matematika dan kepercayaan diri siswa serta hasil belajar siswa yang baik

Abstract

This research aims to determine the use of mathematics learning media through an Augmented Reality (AR) approach in increasing students' interest in learning at SMP 1 Menes on the topic of flat-sided solid shapes. Augmented Reality media was chosen as an innovative approach due to its ability to present interactive and engaging three-dimensional (3D) visualizations, making it easier for students to understand abstract concepts. The research method used was quantitative with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were grade VIII junior high school students who were divided into two groups: an experimental group that used Augmented Reality (AR) learning media and a control group that used a conventional method. Data were collected through learning interest questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the use of AR learning media can significantly increase students' interest in learning, with an average increase in the N-Gain Score of 72% compared to the control group which had a very low increase of 13%. This identifies that Augmented Reality media can be an effective solution for increasing students' interest in learning.
