Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most important branches of science because mathematics is indispensable for everyday life and is the basis for other branches of science. Therefore, students' abstraction ability is very important. Each student has abstraction ability in solving problems in mathematics lessons in solving different problems according to the students' level of thinking ability and intelligence. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe the mathematical abstraction ability of grade VIII students in cartesian coordinate material at SMPN 1 Cikedal. The type of research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The research subjects are 6 students of grade VIII A. The research instruments used are test sheets and interview guidelines containing 14 questions. The results showed that all the research subjects had low mathematical abstraction skills, as none of the students met all the levels and indicators used in this study, namely the level of recognition, representation, and structural abstraction.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifitas penggunaan e-learning berbasis google classroom terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah E-Learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed method yang menggabungkan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan kualitatif secara berurutan, dimana pada tahap pertama menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan tahap kedua dengan metode kualitatif. Dimulai dari persiapan penelitian yaitu observasi dan metode wawancara sampai ke analisis data yang berupa kuisioner atau angket respon mahasiswa dan tes hasil belajar. Desain penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah true-experimental design yaitu posttest-only control design dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test untuk mengukur hasil belajar mahasiswa. Sedangkan deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami keefektifan penggunaan google classroom terhadap hasil belajar matematika mahasiswa. Hasil uji t-test didapat bahwa H1=2,60 dan H0=1,71 dengan kriteria 2,60 > 1,71 maka hasil hipotesis postest disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima maka dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar antara yang menggunakan e-learning berbasis google classroom dengan yang menggunakan media konvensional. Hasil survei deskriptif diperoleh bahwa Google Classroom efektif dalam pembelajaran e-learning. Terbukti dari analisis kuisioner respon mahasiswa positif dengan rata-rata memilih setuju. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dapat disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan yang positif terhadap penggunaan e-learning berbasis google classroom pada mata kuliah e-learning program studi pendidikan matematika di FKIP Universitas Mathla’ul Anwar Banten. Dari hasil observasi yang dilakukan peneliti, partisipasi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah e-learning ada pada kategori baik, karena adanya timbal balik antara dosen dengan mahasiswa. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa efektifitas belajar menggunakan google classroom sangat mendukung terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the presence or absence of improvement of student mathematical problem solving skills after applying the Problem Based Learning model. The method used in this research is the quasi-experimental method. Sampling was carried out with the Simple Random Sampling technique with a population of 66 students, and a sample used as many as 40 students from X A class as an experimental class and X B as the control class. Research instruments used in the form of a description test made based on the indicator of mathematical problem solving ability. Based on data analysis with ANOVA's one-lane testing method to test the proposed hypothesis, obtained results with value (Fcount = 19.283 > Ftabel = 4.10) At a rate of significance of 5%, then H0 rejected, so it can be concluded that there are Differences in the mathematical problem solving skills of students between classes taught with the Problem Based Learning model and conventional learning models.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VII A di Mts An-Nahl Cikeusik, Pandeglang, Banten dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi himpunan. Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif ialah jenis penelitiannya yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 6 orang siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling dengan tiga kategori yaitu 2 siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi, 2 siswa berkemampuan sedang, dan 2 siswa berkemampuan rendah. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis terdiri dari 3 soal uraian, dan wawancara mendalam . Hasil analisis data pada tingkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalahan matematis berdasarkan ketercapaian langkah Polya, siswa yang berkemampuan tinggi telah tercapai targetnya dengan sangat baik,  pada siswa yang berkemampuan sedang belum memiliki kemampuan dengan baik, dan pada siswa yang berkemampuan rendah belum mampu melaksanakan keempat langkah Polya.

Abstract

This study aims to use the cymath application to help the difficulties experienced by students in working on Algebra questions in class XI students which causes students to have difficulty understanding Algebraic concepts. The method used in this study is qualitative in the form of a Questionnaire or Questionnaire. The subjects used in this study were eight students of Class 11 with full consideration. Media is a tool used by some teachers to support learning. Technological developments are increasingly rapid and advanced, everyone is expected to be able to understand and understand the use of technology to support learning or support all activities. Teachers and students can take advantage of technology-based learning media, one of which is Cymath. Cymath is an offline and online-based application created by Cymath LLC to assist students in solving math problems that are considered difficult such as Algebra. So that the learning process is interesting and not boring, teachers can teach knowledge and creativity in solving algebra problems in the Cymath application.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the flipped classroom learning model and cognitive style on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The type of quasi-experimental research with the sample technique is cluster random sampling. The population is all students of class XI SMAN 11 Pandeglang, with a sample of 2 classes for 1 experimental class with flipped classroom and 1 control class with conventional. The stages of the research were giving the GEFT test to classify based on cognitive style. Then pretest, treatment and finally given posttest. The test instrument is in the form of 4 essay questions that have been tested using the CVR method. The data analysis technique used was to determine descriptive statistics, pretest and posttest scores, normality and homogeneity tests of N-gain data and Two Way Anova analysis. The results of statistical tests show that 1) there are differences in the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use the flipped classroom model with students who use conventional models, 2) there are differences in the improvement of mathematical problem solving abilities between students who have a field independent cognitive style and students who have a cognitive style. field dependent on flipped classroom learning, 3) there is an interaction between the learning model and cognitive style on increasing students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP UNMA Banten?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengambilan subyek penelitian menggunakan teknik purposif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP UNMA Banten yang duduk di semester 2 berjumlah 12 orang mahasiswa yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah aplikasi komputer pendukung pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1. Penggunaan teknologi pembelajaran matematika oleh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP UNMA Banten sudah dilakukan secara optimal. Hal ini dikarenakan ketersediaan fasilitas teknologi di kampus sudah memadai. 2. Subyek penelitian menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran berupa laptop, infokus, dan komputer. Laptop dan komputer sudah di instal dengan aplikasi penunjang seperti Software Microsoft mathematics dan Math Editor.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that plays an important role in aspects of life, therefore mathematics lessons are given to students at every level of education so that they are able to master mathematical skills. One of the most important abilities in learning mathematics is the ability to fluency in procedures. This study aims to analyze students' procedural fluency in solving linear program questions in class XI SMA Bidayatul Hidayah. This research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive. The research instrument used was in the form of test sheets and interview guidelines. The results showed that students who have high mathematical procedural skills are as many as one student because they meet the three indicators used in this study, while as many as two students only meet the second indicator of students' mathematical procedural fluency skills, besides that the other two students have fluency skills. low mathematical procedural because it does not meet all the indicators used in study.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang kondusif dan menyenangkan dalam revolusi industri 4.0 membuat perubahan dalam gaya belajar dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru dituntut untuk mengikuti proses pembelajaran digital interaktif. Sehingga salah satu tantangan bagi guru dan pengembang teknologi pembelajaran untuk berinovasi adalah menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan bagi siswa. Pelatihan penyusunan bahan ajar berbasis Web bagi guru matematika bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis web yang sesuai dengn kurikulum dan kebutuhan siswa. Pelatihan ini dilakukan melalui metode peer-teaching model pembelajaran interaktif, Menyusun bahan belajar, Mengemas menjadi bahan belajar on-line. Hasil yang diperoleh setelah melaksanakan kegiatan ini yaitu terdapat peningkatan kemampuan teknologi guru dalam menyusun bahan ajar berbasis web sebagian besar guru matematika SMP di kabupaten Pandeglang menyatakan bahwa hanya kadang-kadang dalam menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, mereka hanya kadang-kadang menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis Web, namun 80% sudah pernah menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis Web. Tapi tidak satupun dari mereka yang pernah mendesain game pembelajaran matematika di Web. Peserta pelatihan ada yang pernah menggunakan canva dan heyzine, Capcut, dan PPT di WPS HP sedangkan menggunakan game pembelajaran berbasis Web 80% yang tidak pernah menggunakan dan hanya 20% yang sudah pernah menggunakan. Respon peserta pelatihan terkait pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa 90% guru menyatakan materi yang disampaiakan sangat menarik (10% menarik) dan semua peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan keterampilan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dan membantu untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Conducive and enjoyable learning in the industrial revolution 4.0 makes changes in learning styles in the learning process. Teachers are required to follow the interactive digital learning process. So one of the challenges for teachers and learning technology developers to innovate is to create learning that is fun and not boring for students. Training on preparing Web-based teaching materials for mathematics teachers aims to improve teachers' skills and knowledge in developing web-based teaching materials that suit the curriculum and student needs. This training is carried out through peer-teaching methods, interactive learning models, compiling learning materials, packaging them into on-line learning materials. The results obtained after carrying out this activity were that there was an increase in teachers' technological abilities in compiling web-based teaching materials. Most of the junior high school mathematics teachers in Pandeglang district stated that they only sometimes used technology in learning, they only sometimes used Web-based teaching materials, However, 80% have used Web-based teaching materials. But none of them had ever designed a math learning game on the Web. Some of the training participants have used Canva and Heyzine, Capcut, and PPT on WPS HP, while 80% have never used Web-based learning games and only 20% have used them. Responses from training participants regarding the implementation of this training activity showed that 90% of teachers stated that the material presented was very interesting (10% interesting) and all participants stated that this training activity could improve skills in using technology in learning and help to increase teacher professionalism.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to ascertain the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) profile of prospective mathematics teachers in the microteaching course. The research methodology employed a survey research design. The target population for this investigation comprises prospective mathematics teacher students enrolled at a University in Banten, Indonesia. The sample for this study comprises students in their sixth semester of the Mathematics Education program who are currently enrolled in the microteaching course. The inclusion criteria for the sample require that these students have successfully completed coursework in foundational technology use, pedagogical principles, and both basic and advanced mathematics subjects. The research findings indicate that the majority of students exhibit a high level of Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) and Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK), with percentages of 50% and 81.25% respectively. On the other hand, the majority of students demonstrate a moderate level of Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) and Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), with percentages of 56.25% and 31.25% respectively. Moreover, a significant portion of students show a low level of Technological Knowledge (TK) at 31.25%, Content Knowledge (CK) at 37.5%, and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) at 37.5%. It conluded, most prospective tezchers use the Technological Conten Knowledge (TCK) and Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) domains to conduct learning.
