Enhancing The Eighth Grade Students' Vocabulary Achievement By Using Pelmanism Game At SMPN 5 Jember Pratiwi, Bella; Ariani, Musli; AriyantoÂ , Sugeng

This classroom action research was intended to enhance the eighth grade studentsâ€™ vocabulary achievement at SMPN 5 Jember by using pelmanism game. Purposive method was used to choose the research area and the research subject. The primary data were collected by using observation and vocabulary test. The supporting data were collected by interview and documentation. Both the results of observation and the vocabulary test were analyzed statistically by using percentage formula. The studentsâ€™ participation in Cycle 1 was 58.5% and in Cycle 2 was 77%. Meanwhile, the result of studentsâ€™ vocabulary achievement in Cycle 1 was 75% and in Cycle 2 was 80%. It means that the use of pelmanism game could enhance the studentsâ€™ vocabulary achievement. Therefore, it is suggested to use pelmanism game to enhance the studentsâ€™ vocabulary achievement.

This research aimed to determine feasibility and student response to worksheet of instrumentation chemical practicum based on local wisdom. It is developed based on test results the expert (expert judgment) and field trials. This research method was the research and development (R&D) which adopt a development model Borg & Gall. Subject of this research is a chemistry student practicum instraction based on local wisdom that tested the students of Chemistry Education FKIP Tanjungpura University in early trials and major field trials. The results of data analisis showed that chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom is very proper to use in learning of the content feasibility of 93,33%, presentation feasibility of 91,67%, linguistic feasibility of 93,33%, chart feasibility of 91,67%. The student response initial field trials of 86,16%, and the main field trials of 81,04%. It showed that the level of chemistry student worksheet based on local wisdom belongs to very high criteria.

The human need for recreation from the saturation of urban activities is very supportive of the development of the tourism sector, especially natural tourism which brings natural beauty. But until now there are still a few tourist attractions that are able to accommodate and facilitate vacation activities for tourists, as well as a lack of human awareness of the environment. The emergence of a problem can be helped with programming methods as a problem-solving. To produce a natural tourism sector that is environmentally friendly and can accommodate all vacation activities according to predetermined standards. The results of the resort building design use a sustainable concept where the building is designed so as not to damage the surrounding environment and save energy.

Latar Belakang : Remaja adalah sosok yang mudah terpengaruh karena masih dalam pencarian identitas diri. Remaja khususnya remaja madya berada di fase kebingungan identitas yang rentan terhadap kekacauan jika tidak berhasil dilewati dengan baik. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kegagalan perkembangan remaja adalah kontrol diri yang rendah. Kecerdasan emosional yang tidak memadai merupakan salah satu hal yang dianggap sebagai penyebab rendahnya kontrol diri remaja sehingga mereka cenderung melakukan berbagai kenakalan. Tujuan: Mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan kenakalan yang dilakukan oleh remaja madya. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelusuran literatur dari tiga database elektronik yaitu Google Scholar, Pubmed dan ScienceDirect. Penelitian ini berdasarkan pengkajian dari 24.840 artikel klinis dan penelitian yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2011 hingga 2020. Hasil: Dari delapan artikel yang dipakai dalam literature review ini tujuh diantaranya menunjukan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan delinkuensi pada remaja madya. Kesimpulan: Kecerdasan emosional adalah salah satu faktor penting yang mempengaruhi penyimpangan pada remaja madya. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosional, Perilaku Delinkuensi, Kenakalan Remaja ABSTRACT Background: Adolescents are easily influenced because there are still in search of self-identify. Adolescents, especially middle adolescents, are in phase of identity confusion which is prone to chaos if it is not passed properly. One remarkable factor affecting the failure of adolescents development is low self-control. Inadequate emotional intelligence considered as one of several causes of low self-control in adolescents that leads them to commit delinquent acts. Aim: To determine the correlation between emotional intelligence and juvenile delinquency in middle adolescence. Method: Method used in this study was a literature review from three electronic databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect. This study based on an examination of 24.840 clinical papers and research published between 2011 and 2020. Result: Seven out of eight articles used in this literature review show significant correlation between emotional intelligence and juvenile delinquency in middle adolescence. Conclusion: Emotional intelligence is one of most the significant factors that influences behavioral deviations in the second stage of adolescence. Diabetes Mellitus is one of the degenerative diseases with high prevalence and is increasing every year in Lampung province by 22,345 cases or 1.37%. Obesity is one of the predisposing factors for diabetes mellitus. The prevalence of obesity in the population aged 18 years and over increased from 14.8% to 21.8%. In Lampung province, it was 17.3%. Diabetes mellitus and Obesity must be managed comprehensively which is expected to prevent complications and improve the quality of life of patients. Objective: Implementation of Evidence Based Medicine-based services in patients by identifying risk factors, clinical problems, and patient management based on a patient problem-solving framework with a patient-centered, family-focused, and community-oriented approach. Method: This study is a case report. Primary data was obtained through anamnesis, physical examination and home visits to assess the physical environment. Assessment based on a holistic diagnosis from the beginning, process, and end of the study qualitatively and quantitatively. Results: After the intervention, there was an increase in patient and family knowledge regarding the importance of health care provider check-ups, regular medication consumption, appropriate diet and physical activity patterns for patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Obesity. Conclusion: Holistic management has been carried out with a family doctor approach for Mrs. A, 54 years old with type II Diabetes Mellitus and grade II Obesity which was adjusted based on the initial holistic diagnosis. The intervention has increased patient and family knowledge regarding the importance of health care provider check-ups, regular medication consumption, diet and physical activity patterns as indicated by improvements in the final holistic diagnosis.

Penerapan budaya kasih sayang di lingkungan sekolah memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan emosional dan sosial peserta didik. Peran guru, khususnya guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK), tidak hanya terbatas pada pemberian bimbingan semata, melainkan juga dalam menciptakan suasana sekolah yang penuh perhatian dan dukungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam bagaimana budaya kasih sayang dijalankan oleh guru BK di Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bandar Puteri Jaya, Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru BK menumbuhkan budaya kasih sayang melalui sambutan hangat saat siswa datang ke sekolah, penyelenggaraan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta keterlibatan siswa dalam projek menanam bunga dan kegiatan seni. Implementasi budaya kasih sayang memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesejahteraan emosional siswa, ditandai dengan meningkatnya rasa nyaman, kepercayaan diri, serta kualitas hubungan sosial di lingkungan sekolah. Guru lebih menekankan pentingnya komunikasi terbuka dibandingkan dengan penerapan hukuman, sehingga tercipta lingkungan sekolah yang positif dan mendukung pertumbuhan siswa.
