Abstract

The aim of this research is to measure the effect of individual counseling services Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to overcome adolescent social anxiety at SMP Islam A-Ulum Terpadu Medan. The type of research used is quasi-experiment. The number of samples used was 10 students who entered the experimental class and control class. The sample used is a non-probability sampling sample using purposive sampling technique. Data collection used social anxiety psychological scale. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test. This analysis method is to measure the average value of the control class and the experimental class. Based on the paired sample t-Test test, it shows that the pair 1 output in the control class obtained a tcount value of 3.604 with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.023> 0.005, meaning Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. While the pair 2 output in the experimental class obtained a tcount value of 15.235 with a Sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.005, it means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that the experimental class using individual counseling services with the Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) approach is effective for overcoming adolescent social anxiety at Al-Ulum Integrated Islamic Junior High School Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the meaning of life of orphaned and orphaned students at school and the effectiveness of Islamic counseling services through Islamic counseling services. The method of this research uses quantitative. The population in this study were all students of Ikhlasiyah Guppi Muslimin class XI-1, which amounted to 31 people. The sample in this study were orphaned and orphaned students of Ikhlasiyah Guppi Muslimin using a stratified random sampling technique in determining the sample so as not to overlap with other groups with a sample size of 5 people. This study measured both variables using the meaningfulness of life scale with self-concept. This study uses experimental research with the experimental type (pretest-posttest design). The data collection tool used in this study is a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is a paired sample T-test. Paired sample T-test is a method to see if a group's improvement is significant after being given a service or treatment. SPSS results through the paired sample T-test test show that in the equal variances assumed column, the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.001 <0.05, which means that assertive training through Islamic counseling services increases the meaningfulness of life in orphans and orphans.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of group counseling services using an assertive technical approach to reduce aggressive physical behavior among teenagers at Medan High School. This research uses quantitative research methods. This research uses a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The research location is Medan High School, which has a population of 70 class XI students. The samples were eight people from class XI IPS-1 and 8 XI IPS-2 students in the control group. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire; the data used in this research is a Likert scale with the data analysis technique using the T-test. This result is proven by data analysis, which obtained a percentage value for the experimental group from 84.7% to 72.8%, while for experimental group students, the percentage value obtained was 84.7% to 84.1%. The results of the independent samples t-test analysis also obtained a sig value equal to 0.029 < 0.05; it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted in this research. These results can be interpreted as the influence of group counseling services using assertive techniques in reducing aggressive physical behavior among teenagers at Medan High School.

Abstract

The background of this research is the phenomenon regarding the rise of bullying cases in schools. The high bullying behavior in students encourages providing a service as an information service. This research aimed to test the effectiveness of information services using the drama film "try me a sad river" to minimize bullying behavior in junior high school students. The method used is quantitative, with the type of research used is Quasi-Experimental with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The total population of the study was 84 students of eighth-grade junior high school. The research sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique with the criteria of high bullying behavior. Data collection techniques in this study used bullying behavior scale instruments and interviews. The research instrument used the Likert Scale model, then analyzed using an independent sample t-test with SPSS. The study results show that information services using the drama film "cry me a sad river" effectively minimize the bullying behavior of junior high school students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management dapat meningkatkan disiplin waktu pada siswa di kelas VIII MTs Madinatussalam Tembung. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pre test posttest. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Sekolah MTs Madinatussalam Tembung JL.Sidomulyo Pasar IX Dusun XIII Desa Sei Rotan Kec. Percut Sei Tuan Kab. Deli Serdang. Adapun subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII MTs Madinatussalam dengan sampel sebanyak 10 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan Angket Disiplin Waktu dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t (Paired-Samples T-test). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self Managemen dalam meningkatkan disiplin waktu siswa kelas VIII MTs Madinatussalam Tembung dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil perhitungan rata-rata skor disiplin waktu dari sebelum Pretest mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self Managemen adalah 38,20 dengan standard deviasi 2,65, nilai minimum yang diperoleh sebesar 35 dan nilai maksimumnya sebesar 42 dan setelah Posttest mengikuti layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik Self Management meningkat menjadi sebesar 44,30 dengan standard deviasi 1.418, nilai minimum yang diperoleh sebesar 43 dan nilai maksimumnya sebesar 47.Dari hasil uji-t menggunakan bantuan program SPSS versi 22 diperoleh nilai disiplin waktu siswa signifikasi pada bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management sebesar 0,000. Karena nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, sehingga hasil pengujian hipotesis menolak H0 atau menerima Ha dalam taraf signifikansi 5% artinya ada Bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik self management efektif dalam meningkatkan disiplin waktu pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Madinatussalam Tembung.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of self-talk in increasing self-confidence, and to see how effective REBT with Self-Talk Techniques is in increasing students' self-confidence in speaking in public. The research method used by researchers plans to use a quantitative pre-experimental design or experimental approach. The sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique with 13 informants from class 11 majoring in ACP. The research procedure is divided into three stages, namely the first stage is conducting a pretest to measure students' initial level of self-confidence, the second stage is conducting counseling with REBT with Self-Talk Techniques in Increasing Students' Self-Confidence, and the third stage is posttest to see whether After REBT therapy, students will be more confident. Data analysis used the SPSS 25 application. Data analysis techniques used in this research included normality testing, validity and reliability testing, and hypothesis testing. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the level of confidence in speaking in front of general subjects has increased. From the average (mean) pre-test score, then after receiving REBT with Self-Talk Technique, the post-test score increased. This shows that there was an increase in self-confidence scores. Apart from that, based on the output of the hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test, a significance value of 0.001 (smaller than 0.05) was obtained. This means that self-talk techniques are effective in increasing self-confidence in speaking in public for Al-Washiyah 2 Commerce Private Vocational School students. Therefore, REBT with Self-Talk Techniques is very effective and can be used to increase a person's self-confidence. In implementing self-talk, group members are invited to discuss many important things for themselves. Apart from that, this activity will help you deepen your mind so you can get various interesting ideas. Without realizing it, self-talk has various benefits for mental health. when we start talking to ourselves, it means we understand the situation we are currently experiencing. With positive self-talk, the situation will be processed by oneself to determine the next steps.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji coba layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract didalam mengurangi perilaku phubbing siswa kelas VIII di sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Tanjung Tiram. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen, yaitu penelitian yang menggunakan dua kelompok penelitian: kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian sebanyak 55 siswa, dan sampel sebanyak 20 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen berupa angket perilaku phubbing. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan skor tingkat perilaku phubbing pada siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan layanan. Skor rata-rata kelompok eksperimen 74,9% menurun menjadi 67% setelah melakukan layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract. Sedangkan skor dikelompok kontrol 74,4% meningkat sebesar 88,3%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat penurunan pada kelompok kontrol. Dengan demikian layanan konseling kelompok dengan teknik behavior contract efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat perilaku phubbing pada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifitasan konseling kelompok  teknik WDEP dalam membantu peningkatan penerimaan diri siswa korban perceraian. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimen dengan design Non equivalent Pre-Test Post-Test Control Group Design. Teknik sampling yang digunakan ialah purposive sampling. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 27 siswa korban perceraian dengan sampel sebanyak 10 orang siswa yang memiliki indikasi penerimaan diri rendah yaitu 5 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 5 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala penerimaan diri, teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah non-parametrik dengan teknik Uji Wilcoxon (menguji hasil pre-test dan post-test kelompok eksperimen) dan Mann-Whitney U test (perbandingan post-test antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen). Adapun hasil analisis data untuk Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) pada kelompok eksperimen sebesar 0,043 < 0.05 dan untuk uji Mann Whitney U test didapatkan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,16 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima dan H₀ ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan penerimaan diri terhadap kelompok eksperimen serta konseling kelompok realita teknik WDEP dinyatakan efektif untuk meningkatkan penerimaan diri pada siswa korban perceraian. Implikasi dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan guru BK untuk menerapkan konseling kelompok realita teknik WDEP sehingga dapat membantu permasalahan pada penerimaan diri yang dialami siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penyesuaian diri adalah kemampuan individu untuk menyikapi dan mengatasi hal-hal baru yang membangun hubungan yang baik dan serasi antara individu dengan lingkungan disekitarnya. Pelaksanaan layanan orientasi secara daring tetap dilaksanakan oleh guru BK melalui aplikasi konseling walaupun terdapat beberapa kendala yang harus dialami oleh guru BK dan siswa itu sendiri. penyesuaian diri layanan orientasi secara luring dan daring itu dilaksanakan secara berbeda, terdapat beberapa kendala saat melaksanakan layanan orientasi pada masa pandemi seperti yang sudah dijelaskan sebelumnya. Namum guru BK tetap memberikan layanan BK karena kodrat guru BK adalah mengentaskan permasalahan siswa, baik dalam belajar, pengenalan lingkungan, penyesuaian diri siswa terhadap teman dan lingkungan sekitar, dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN Kisaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitiannya adalah 120 siswa dan sampelnya adalah 89 siswa. metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket atau kuesioner, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai sig. F Change < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Ho pada penelitian ini ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya layanan orientasi secara luring dan daring efektif terhadap penyesuaian diri siswa di MAN Kisaran. Dan dari hasil pengujian hipotesis tersebut dapat dikatakan bahwa data tersebut berkolerasi sedang. Kata Kunci : Layanan Orientasi; Luring; Daring; Penyesuaian Diri; ABSTRACT Self-adjustment is the individual's ability to respond to and overcome new things that build a good and harmonious relationship between the individual and the surrounding environment. The implementation of online orientation services is still carried out by BK teachers through counseling applications, although there are several obstacles that must be experienced by BK teachers and students themselves. the adjustment of offline and online orientation services was carried out differently, there were several obstacles when carrying out orientation services during the pandemic as described previously. However, BK teachers continue to provide BK services because the nature of BK teachers is to alleviate student problems, both in learning, introduction to the environment, adjustment of students to friends and the surrounding environment, and so on. This research was conducted at MAN Kisaran. This research uses correlational quantitative method. The research population is 120 students and the sample is 89 students. Data collection methods used are questionnaires or questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the value of sig. F Change < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Ho in this study is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that offline and online orientation services are effective for students' adjustment at MAN Kisaran. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of group counseling services using the Homework Assignment technique approach to increase student learning responsibility at SMA Negeri 7 Medan. This research used quantitative experimental methods. This research involved 56 class X students and a sample of 8 people who were selected using purposive sampling. The research design uses pre-experiment pretest-posttest. The results of data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test showed asymp significance. sig (2-tailed) of 0.012 is lower than the specified significance level (0.05). Thus, the Homework Assignment technique through counseling services has proven to be effective in increasing student learning responsibility
