Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Fama & French Five-Factors Asset Pricing Model can explain the excess return expected by investors. The population used is the LQ 45 index with large capitalization and liquid. Based on the sample in this study was used by 25 companies. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and the analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results show that the variables in the Fama & French Five-Factors Asset Pricing Model have a significant effect on the excess return, which is 65.7%. Partial testing results also show that all variables in this study have a significant effect on excess return. This means that the Fama & French Five-Factors Asset Pricing Model in this study period can explain the expected rate of return of shares by investors.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengelolaan sampah di Kota Bandung dikelola dengan membuat beberapa tempat penampungan sementara (TPS) dan tempat pembuangan akhir (TPA). Dari sekian banyak TPS yang dinilai kinerjanya menurun adalah TPS Gedebage. Penelitian ini adalah hasil pengembangan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan untuk menanggulangi tingkat stress kinerja petugas lapangan pengangkut sampah. Adapun jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif, dengan menelaah peran pelatihan penanggulangan stres kerja pada peningkatan kinerja petugas lapangan di TPA Gedebage, Bandung. Kumpulan Subyek penelitian yang ditelaah adalah petugas kebersihan lapangan di Kelurahan Cisaranteun Kidul, dengan menggunakan teknik sampel sampling jenuh diperoleh sebanyak 37 orang sampel. Dalam menganalisis data yang diperoleh, dibutuhkan data yang mempunyai tingkat akurasi yang baik dan dapat dipercaya agar hasil penelitian mampu mengambarkan kondisi yang sebenarnya terjadi pada objek penelitian, adapun penelaahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan verifikatif. Temuan dalam penelaahan yaitu pelatihan penanggulangan stres kerja yang diikuti oleh petugas lapangan angkutan sampah Perusahaan Daerah (PD) Kebersihan Kota Bandung UPT Gedebage dapat dinyatakan menurunkan tingkat stress kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian secara parsial menunjukan bahwa pelatihan penanggulangan stress kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja petugas pada bagian pengangkutan sampah (pengemudi Triseda) yang bertugas di Kelurahan Cisaranteun Kidul, Bandung. Kata kunci: pelatihan, stress kerja, kinerja pegawai. ABSTRACT Waste management in the city of Bandung is managed by making several temporary shelters (TPS) and final disposal sites (TPA). One of the polling stations whose performance has decreased is the Gedebage TPS. This exploration is the consequence of the advancement of community service which is carried out to overcome the stress level of the performance of the waste transporter field officers. To complete this research, the method used is a quantitative method, where the object to be studied is the role of work stress management training in improving the performance of field officers at Gedebage TPA, Bandung. The populace that will be utilized in this review is the waste transportation officer (Triseda driver) on duty in Cisaranteun Kidul Village, using a saturated sampling technique, 37 samples were obtained. In analyzing the data obtained, it takes data that has a good level of accuracy and can be trusted so that the research results are able to depict the real conditions that happen in the object of research, while the data analysis techniques in this study are descriptive and verification analysis. The findings in this study are that the training for dealing with work stress, which was attended by field officers of the Regional Cleanliness Company (PD) of Bandung City, UPT Gedebage, can be stated to reduce the level of work stress. Based on the results of the partial study, it showed that the training to overcome work stress had a significant effect on the performance of officers in the waste transportation section (Triseda drivers) who served in Cisaranteun Kidul Village, Bandung. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bentuk partisipasi terhadap pengembangan sumber daya manusia dengan menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada para wanita dan ibu hamil mengenai pengelolaan asupan gizi dan pengelolaan hidup yang sehat. Usaha pemberian gizi diharapkan mampu memberikan peluang baru. Jika pertumbuhan jumlah wanita dan ibu hamil yang memiliki kesadaran akan asupan nutrisi meningkat, maka sasaran bayi lahir dengan kondisi Zero Stunting akan lebih kecil. Adanya literasi mengenai asupan gizi dan meningkatnya pendapatan diharapkan akan membantu mewujudkan masyarakat Indonesia yang sejahtera. Yang harus diperbaiki salah satunya adalah merumuskan solusi yang berkaitan dengan kendala-kendala tersebut. Berdasarkan uraian di atas sebagai bentuk partisipasi terhadap pengembangan sumber daya manusia, Progam Studi Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Informatika dan Bisnis Indonesia menyelenggarakan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada para wanita dan ibu hamil mengenai pengelolaan asupan gizi dan pengelolaan hidup yang sehat.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the key factors influencing the intention to use fintech peer-to-peer (P2P) lending services in Bandung City, addressing a significant area of financial technology adoption in emerging markets. This research uses a quantitative accidental sampling method, namely a non-probability sampling technique to survey 428 residents of Bandung City who use P2P lending services. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression to evaluate the impact of various independent variables on usage intention. The analysis revealed that Personalization, Accessibility, and Enhanced Effectiveness have a positive and statistically significant influence on the intention to use P2P lending. Conversely, Loan Approval Speed demonstrated a negative and statistically significant effect. Social Factors, however, were found to have no significant impact on usage intention. These findings contribute to the literature on fintech adoption, highlighting the importance of service personalization and accessibility while identifying areas for improvement, such as streamlining loan approval processes. The insights provided can inform strategies for both service providers and policymakers in fostering responsible P2P lending adoption in Bandung City. This research underscores critical determinants of P2P lending usage intentions and provides actionable insights for enhancing the effectiveness and appeal of financial technology services in Bandung City.

Abstract

This scholarly inquiry seeks to elucidate the characterisation and impact of emotional intelligence, professional competence, and pedagogical performance within the KH. Zainal Mustafa Cluster is located in Cikalong Wetan. The methodological framework adopted for this study encompasses both descriptive and verification methodologies, employing quantitative research techniques. The demographic scope of this investigation encompasses all elementary school educators affiliated with the KH. Zainal Mustafa Cluster in Cikalong Wetan comprises a total of nine educational institutions and includes 91 teaching professionals. The sampling methodology in this research utilises a non-probability sampling technique, precisely a saturated sampling approach, thereby ensuring that every individual within the population is included in the sample. The outcomes derived from the descriptive analysis reveal that the variable of emotional intelligence is categorised as high, the variable of competence is classified as good, and the variable of teacher performance is also designated as exemplary. The findings derived from the partial determination assessment indicated that the emotional intelligence variable exerted an influence of 22.4% on the performance of educators, whereas competence demonstrated a 24.7% effect on educator performance; when considered concurrently, the combined impact of emotional intelligence and competence on teacher performance was observed to be 40%. The outcomes of the hypothesis testing revealed that, in isolation, both the emotional intelligence and competency variables exhibited a statistically significant effect on teacher performance, characterised by a positive direction of influence; furthermore, it was determined that collectively, the emotional intelligence and competency variables significantly impacted the teacher performance within the KH. Zainal Mustafa Cluster is located in Cikalong Wetan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau sustainable lifestyle dengan latar belakang paradigma pembangunanberkelanjutan. Secara spesifik penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui apakah sustainable lifestyle tersebut mendukungterbentuknya responsible consumer, bagaimana sustainable lifestyle dapat dioperasionalkan, dan bagaimana perlakuanyang tepat terhadap responsible consumer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausalitas denganpendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang menjadi sasaranpenelitian adalah konsumen green product secara umum di Indonesia dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 238 responden. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam uji hipotesis adalahStructural Equation Model (SEM). Hasil penelitian secaraverifiktif ditemukan bahwa arah hubungan LOHAS denganConsumer Behavior adalah positif dengan total pengaruhsebesar 72,7%, dan arah hubungan Consumer Behavior dengan Responsible Consumer adalah positif dengan total pengaruh sebesar 82,2%. Secara parsial, hanya variabelspiritual health yang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadapperubahan consumer behavior. Kemudian, hasil perolehanperhitungan efek mediasi menunjukkan hanya variabelspiritual health tidak mampu dimediasi oleh consumer behavior. Sehingga, disimpulkan bahwa determinan LOHAS yang berpengaruh terhadap responsible consumer melaluivariabel consumer behavior adalah Physical Fitness, Mental Health, Emotional Health, Environmentalism, dan Social Consciousness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description and magnitude of the influence of the Effect of Cash Turnover and Receivables Turnover on Return On Assets in Hospitality Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2016-2022. The research method used is quantitative and descriptive research methods. The population in this study were 203 financial statements from 29 hospitality sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2022. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. Sample count of 70 Financial Statements from 10 Hospitality Sub-Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2016-2022. Based on the research results, the determination test of the Cash Turnover variable has no effect of 0.7% on Return On Assets and the Receivables Turnover variable has an effect of 22.3% on Return On Assets. Simultaneously, the Cash Turnover and Receivables Turnover variables have an influence of 20.2% on Return On Assets. Partial research results using the t test, the Cash Turnover variable has no effect on Return On Assets with a significance value of 0.365 > 0.05 and tcount 0.915 < ttable 1.996. The Receivables Turnover variable affects Return On Assets with a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 and tcount 3.571 > ttable 1.996. The results of the study simultaneously using the F test, the Cash Turnover and Receivables Turnover variables affect Return On Assets with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05 and Fcount 6.561 > Ftable 3.134.

Abstract

Investigation elucidates the characterization and impact of IC, effective corporate governance, and environmental performance on corporate valuation within the cement industry. Empirical evidence reveals a deterioration in corporate valuation within the cement industry during the period spanning 2019 to 2023. Among the novel contributions distinguishing this research from antecedent studies is its targeted examination of companies within the cement industry, a focus that remains underexplored in existing literature. The methodology adopted is quantitative, utilizing both descriptive and verification approaches. The research population comprises all cement industry during the 2019-2023 period. Sample selection was executed through purposive sampling based on specified criteria, resulting in the acquisition of 25 financial reports from five distinct companies. The findings of this study indicate that IC, GCG, and Environmental Performance collectively exert an influence on Firm Value within cement industry companies on the IDX throughout the 2019-2023 timeframe. These findings suggest that enterprises exhibiting robust IC, adhering to sound corporate governance practices, and demonstrating commendable environmental performance are predisposed to achieving elevated firm value. Additionally, this research reveals that IC has the most pronounced effect on firm value, succeeded by Environmental Performance, whereas GCG appears to have an insubstantial impact. It is imperative for cement industry companies in Indonesia to adopt a comprehensive strategy aimed at enhancing firm value.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Cash Holding and Financial Leverage, as measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), on the practice of Income Smoothing among infrastructure companies in Indonesia. Specifically, it focuses on firms operating in the heavy construction and civil engineering sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. Employing a quantitative research approach with both descriptive and verification methods, the study examines a total population of 125 financial statements and annual reports from 25 companies over a five-year span. Through purposive sampling, 40 financial reports from 8 selected companies were analyzed to explore patterns and relationships between financial behavior and earnings management practices. The findings aim to provide insight into how liquidity and leverage decisions may relate to managerial efforts to stabilize reported earnings within the capital-intensive infrastructure sector.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of motivation and compensation on employee loyalty at CV. Garmen XYZ, a garment company facing a high employee turnover rate (up to 13.8%) and above-average absenteeism (7.1%). These issues reflect low employee loyalty, potentially affecting productivity and organizational stability. Furthermore, compensation remains below the regional minimum wage, and absenteeism indicates low employee motivation. The study aims to examine the conditions of motivation, compensation, and loyalty, and to measure the partial and simultaneous influence of motivation and compensation on loyalty. A quantitative approach was applied using descriptive and verification methods. Data were collected from 104 respondents through closed questionnaires using a Likert scale, selected via purposive sampling. Validity and reliability tests were conducted, followed by classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²). Results show that motivation, compensation, and employee loyalty are generally perceived as high. However, real conditions reveal a mismatch, with compensation below standards and high turnover. Motivation has a significant partial influence on loyalty (64.8%), while compensation does not, though it contributes 33.5%. Simultaneously, motivation and compensation significantly influence employee loyalty, with a combined effect of 64.4%. The findings highlight that enhancing motivation is more effective in fostering employee loyalty than relying on compensation alone.
