Abstract

The use of derivative instruments can be used to control financial risk to be able to drive an increase in company value. The contribution of this study is to seek the relationship between variables that can increase company value, then increasing the value of the company can achieve the company's goal of increasing shareholder prosperity. The population in this study are all companies listed in the Sharia Stock Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test the hypothesis. The result of the test showed that the Return On Asset and firm size variables have a significant positive effect on the firm value of derivative users. While capital expenditure and dividend yield showed that there is no significant effect on firm value and the leverage variable showed a significant negative effect on firm value.

Abstract

Seorang investor harus memiliki kemampuan untuk memprediksi keuntungan dan kerugian yang akan dialami jika ia menanamkan modalnya pada saham. Salah satunya adalah dengan mengetahui dan mengamati determinan penyebab kenaikan dan penurunan indeks harga saham baik dari dalam maupun luar perusahaan emiten. Perang antara Rusia dan Ukraina secara tidak langsung berdampak pada kinerja Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Hal tersebut dipicu oleh tiga indikator variabel makro ekonomi utama, yaitu harga minyak mentah, tingkat suku bunga dan kurs US$. Kinerja BEI tidak tahan terhadap panasnya harga minyak mentah yang telah naik. Kenaikan suku bunga Bank Indonesia menjadikan investor mulai ragu, mereka mereposisi investasinya dari pasar modal ke alternatif investasi pada tabungan maupun instrumen pasar uang lainnya. Namun adanya optimisme pemerintah bahwa rupiah akan berangsur-angsur menguat, sedikit melegakan pasar. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis multi faktor makro ekonomi, seperti : harga minyak mentah, kurs US$ dan tingkat suku bunga BI yang diproksikan dengan BI 7 days repo rate. Analisis ini dibuat berdasarkan variabel-variabel ekonomi seperti kurs dan tingkat suku bunga yang berpengaruh sistemik terhadap kinerja emiten saham sektor pertambangan (IDX Energy) yang tercatat di BEI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif signifikan variabel harga minyak mentah terhadap kinerja IDX Energy. Sementara variabel faktor ekonomi lainnya seperti kurs US$ dan tingkat suku bunga BI berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap IDX Energy.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mensosialisasikan digital banking kepada UMKM Toko Sinar dalam bentuk workshop. Target workshop adalah meningkatkan literasi dan inklusi keuangan sesuai dengan program pemerintah yakni adamya digitalisasi perbankan membuat semakin lebar sumber pendanaan bagi setiap UMKM apalagi setelah masuknya sejumlah perusahaan financial technology (fintech) yakni peer to peer lending). Kegiatan workshop dilakukan tanggal 7 Oktober 2019 setelah berdiskusi jadwal beberapa kali dengan pemilik UMKM Toko Sinar. Kegiatan workshop dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan meliputi pengenalan digital banking, kegunaan dan manfaat digital banking bagi UMKM dan diakhiri dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan workshop dapat disimpulkan berjalan dengan baik. Peserta yang terdiri dari pemilik dan karyawan sangat antusias mengikuti workshop dan mereka mengakui bahwa memang sangat membutuhkan edukasi tentang pemahaman digitalisasi perbankan. Lebih lanjut mereka juga mengajukan permintaan agar ada keberlanjutan workshop berikutnya dengan topik lebih detil pada`mekanisme dan simulasi pembiayaan fintech untuk tercapainya optimalisasi kegiatan UMKM.

Abstract

Brand identity needs to have a resonance with customers, the right price and marketing strategy can make customers try to buy or become loyal customers. This study analyzes the factors that influence customer decisions in purchasing products by adopting variables in marketing: brand identity, price, and word of mouth, and then analyzes whether they have some significant effect to put on purchasing decisions. The research of data was obtained from customers of Mixue products who are domiciled in the Bandung area. The results of data processing through the PLS-SEM application show that price and brand identity have a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions, while word of mouth has a significant positive influence on purchasing decisions. This shows that currently the word of mouth marketing strategy is more effective in getting customers or buyers.

Abstract

Technological developments have occurred very quickly in people's lives, giving rise to digital technology and various other inventions. Society is required to be able to adapt to technological developments and adopt its sophistication in order to keep up with the times. The existence of sophisticated digital technology provides benefits for MSMEs and startups in terms of marketing. This PKM partner is a private school located in West Jakarta. The partner is experiencing problems in the form of a lack of introduction to technology in students, limited school curriculum that is less relevant to technological developments, and difficulty understanding various features in applications that have been inserted with the latest technology. The PKM FEB team of Tarumanagara University collaborated with partners and held counseling on the topic of Applying Digital Marketing Campaign Techniques to Business Startups in Facing the Marketing 5.0 Era. Broadly speaking, the counseling discussed content marketing (content planner, content action, content publish, and content evaluation). The counseling was accompanied by hands-on practice on content creation using chat GPT, gemini,and midjourney features and tools, content publication using instagram ads, and content evaluation using insight social media and not just analytics.All participants seemed to have an increased understanding of digital advertising which was reflected in their ability to answer all questions and practice all stages in front of the PKM Team. This activity ended with the awarding of certificates to all participants and a group photo session   ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi telah terjadi sangat cepat di dalam kehidupan masyarakat sehingga memunculkan teknologi digital dan berbagai penemuan lainnya. Masyarakat dituntut untuk dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan mengadopsi kecanggihannya agar dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Keberadaan teknologi digital yang canggih memberi manfaat bagi UMKM maupun usaha rintisan dari sisi pemasaran. Mitra PKM ini adalah sebuah sekolah swasta yang berada di Jakarta Barat. Pihak mitra sedang mengalami masalah yang berupa minimnya pengenalan teknologi di dalam diri para pelajar, keterbatasan kurikulum sekolah yang kurang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi, serta sulitnya memahami berbagai fitur di dalam aplikasi yang telah disisipkan teknologi terkini. Tim PKM FEB Universitas Tarumanagara bekerja sama dengan pihak mitra dan mengadakan penyuluhan dengan topik Penerapan Teknik Digital Marketing Campaign Pada Usaha Rintisan Dalam Menghadapi Era Marketing 5.0. Secara garis besar, penyuluhan membahas tentang content marketing (content planner, content action, content publish, dan content evaluation). Penyuluhan disertai dengan praktik langsung mengenai pembuatan konten dengan menggunakan fitur dan tools chat GPT, gemini, dan midjourney, publikasi konten dengan menggunakan instagram ads, serta evaluasi konten dengan menggunakan insight social media dan not just analytics. Seluruh peserta terlihat mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai periklanan digital yang dicerminkan dari kemampuan mereka dalam menjawab seluruh pertanyaan dan mempraktikan seluruh tahapan di depan Tim PKM. Abstract

Since the pandemic, stock market activities have become increasingly popular among the public. Therefore, it is important to know what factors influence the stock price of a company so that it can be more optimal in buying and selling or investing in shares for both parties, namely investors/traders and also issuers/companies. It is important for investors to know the economic conditions around them to decide whether to buy shares as an investment or not. And for companies to make the right financial decisions in accordance with the surrounding macroeconomic conditions so that share prices can be more optimal. This research can provide insight for investors and companies so they can make wise decisions. For investors, this research is useful for assessing what stock prices should be or future stock prices by considering the surrounding economic conditions. Meanwhile, for companies, this research is useful for providing insight so they can prepare for the worst and predict share prices, then make good decisions to optimize their share prices. Therefore, this research aims to determine the factors that influence stock market prices from the external side, including interest rates, inflation, exchange rates and economic growth which are proxied by gross domestic growth in the property sector stock market listed on the IDX during and after the pandemic. Data processing uses Eviews and shows the results that the variables of interest rates, exchange rates and GDP have a negative effect on fluctuations in the stock market price index. Meanwhile, inflation has a positive effect on fluctuations in the stock market price index.

Abstract

This research is aimed to earn empirical results about the effect of board independence, profitability, leverage and firm size on income smoothing. The study used purposive sampling as its sampling method on manufacture companies that’s listed on BEI for years 2015-2017. Information for this research was acquired from multiple online sources that store financial reports of companies. This research used Eckel Index to determine if a corporation did an income smoothing on its financial report or not. The results were significant relationships between board independence and income smoothing and between profitability and income smoothing while insignificant relationships were found in between leverage and income smoothing and between firm size and income smoothing. To improve this study there are mulitple ways that has been written in conclusion part.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the determinants of consumers' intention to make online purchases. With the advent of digitalization, consumer shopping behaviour has been altered and this trend has started to affect their decisions to buy products online. Purchase intention is a measure of the likelihood of making purchase decision after exposure to digital media. User experience, platform trust, quality of service, and the weight of promotions and offers should all be weighted in this decision. Moreover, the effect of social media and their content quality also influences the customer loyalty and repurchase intention. The method in this paper uses a quantitative method approach by employing the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) which uses SmartPLS. 14 Analysis of Results The results indicate that IBS exert significant influence on ABS as well as it does on FPI. In addition, CBF and IQS also affect purchase intention in the future mediated by IBS. Such results also indicate a need to increase consumer involvement when using e-commerce platform, particularly with social media to enrich consumers' relationships and increase sales conversions.
