Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji apakah metode Berpikir Terbalik mampu meningkatkan kemampuan peserta pelatihan dalam menulis makalah (paper) yang diterbitkan pada jurnal ilmiah. Metode Berpikir Terbalik adalah metode penulisan paper yang dimulai bukan dari menyusun pendahuluan, melainkan dimulai dari mengolah data. Kajian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan bantuan analisis statistik sederhana. Objek penelitian adalah 40 orang peserta pelatihan penulisan karya tulis ilmiah (KTI) yang terdiri dari para pejabat fungsional tertentu di lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Pelatihan diselenggarakan di Badan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Daerah (BPSDMD) Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung pada Bulan Maret 2019. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap aspek kognitif, afektif dan praktis. Pengumpulan data dari responden dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Berpikir Terbalik sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dalam menulis paper, karena 90% peserta pelatihan berhasil mengirimkan naskah paper ke jurnal ilmiah pada hari terakhir pelatihan. Kemampuan kognitif peserta pun meningkat dari rata-rata kelas 54,61 menjadi 75,76. Motivasi peserta pun meningkat yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai 8–10, dari skala Likert 1–10.The increase of writing skill ability of the specific functional officials through learning method innovation: case study in Bangka Belitung Islands provinceThis study aims to examine whether the Reverse Thinking method can improve the ability of trainees in writing papers published in scientific journals. The Reverse Thinking Method is a paper writing method that starts not from writing the introduction, but starts from processing the data. This study was conducted using a quantitative descriptive approach with the help of simple statistical analysis. The object of the study was 40 training participants of the scientific papers (KTI) writing, consisting of certain functional officials in the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands. The training was held at the Regional Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMD) in the Province of Bangka Belitung Province in March 2019. Evaluations were carried out on cognitive, affective and practical aspects. Data collection from the respondents was done using Google Form Questionnaires. The results showed that the Reverse Thinking method was very effective in improving the ability of writing papers, because 90% of trainees successfully submitted their papers to scientific journals on the last day of the training. The cognitive abilities of the participants also increased from the class average of 54.61 to 75.76. Motivation of participants also increased as indicated by the value of 8-10, from a Likert scale of 1-10.

Abstract

Status Gekko gecko yang rencananya akan diusulkan kenaikannya dari non-Apendiks menjadi Apendiks II CITES akibat maraknya perburuan tokek di masyarakat, menyebabkan jumlah tokek di alam bebas semakin berkurang. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian mengenai populasi tokek rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kerapatan populasi tokek rumah khususnya di Kelurahan Nangameting dan Kelurahan Waioti, Kecamatan Alok Timur, Kabupaten Sikka, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan pengamatan langsung. Luas area penelitian 23,11 ha dengan jumlah sampel sebanyaak 211 rumah dan 39 orang responden. Hasil penelitian dan analisis melalui wawancara dan pengamatan langsung secara berturut-turut menunjukkan terdapat 63 individu tokek di Kelurahan Nangameting (kepadatan rata-rata populasi nya sebanyak 7,03 individu/ha) dan 18 individu tokek di Kelurahan Waioti (2 individu/ha). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan ekstrapolasi, populasi tokek rumah di Kecamatan Alok Timur adalah 11.024,96 individu. Data ini diharapkan menjadi dasar dalam upaya pengelolaan/pengendalian peredaran dan perdagangan satwa liar khususnya tokek rumah di wilayah Flores, Indonesia.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of a post-training program for electricity inspectors at PPSDM KEBTKE using the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model (level 1: reaction and level 2: learning) in the Technical Training on Power Plant Inspection for Junior Level. At level 1, participants gave positive feedback, with the training receiving an average score of 89.21, highlighting strengths in content, pre-test/post-test alignment, and participant services. However, scheduling and duration were identified as weaknesses. The Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) showed excellent results with a score of 3.60, particularly in staff behavior, competence, and product specifications. Participants’ reactions toward instructors were also excellent, scoring 90.25, with motivation, material quality, and methods as strengths, though variation in material delivery needs improvement. At level 2, learning outcomes significantly improved, with pre-test and post-test scores showing a t-count of 4.575, greater than the t-table value of 2.01537 at a significance level of 0.05 with 14 degrees of freedom. This result indicates that there is a significant difference in participants' learning outcomes before and after training. In conclusion, the training not only received positive participant feedback but also significantly enhanced their technical competencies. However, improvements in scheduling and instructional methods are recommended to further optimize the training quality.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the dynamics of changing career aspirations among young civil servants and the adaptive meanings that accompany them. The research involved 40 newly recruited Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) from Tangerang Regency, Banten Province, who had been working for five months and were participating in the Basic Training Program (Latsar) in October 2025. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through anonymous open-ended questionnaires, the study found that most respondents experienced shifts in their aspirations from childhood to adulthood. These changes were influenced by various factors, including access to education, family socioeconomic conditions, personal capacity, and the realities of career opportunities. However, such shifts do not indicate inconsistency in life direction but rather reflect career adaptability, i.e. the ability to negotiate between idealism and professional reality. The young civil servants demonstrated reflective capacity in interpreting these transitions, which contributed to the development of public service motivation and a sense of meaningful work. These findings enrich the literature on career psychology and public management by highlighting the importance of reflective and personal dimensions in shaping the professional identity of young bureaucrats and by encouraging a more humanistic, adaptive, and value-driven approach to civil service development

Abstract

This research is based on implementation and obstacles in learning local history of Banten at the high school level in Banten Province. The methodology used is quantitative, qualitative and descriptive approach with two instruments, i.e. questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that almost 73% of high school history teachers have implemented local history lessons. The scope of local history ranges from historical objects/facts found in the locations closest to schools, districts/cities, to the Banten Province area. The most dominant teaching material is the period of the Sultanate of Banten and the period of the independence revolution. The most interesting finding is the national hero from Banten who was just appointed by the government in 2018, namely K.H. Syam'un as the most studied character. The obstacles faced in learning local history are the lack of teaching materials, learning media, and time allocation. The respondents expect the Banten Provincial Government to issue a policy to make local history a Local Content of the 2013 Curriculum.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Education and Culture policy which regulates the use of belajar.id accounts by the education personnel. The respondents of this study are school supervisors, principals, teachers and other education personnel throughout Indonesia with a total of 514 respondents with the largest portion of respondents (52.2%) from Banten Province. The method used in this study is survey method with questionnaire and written interview via Google Form. The interesting finding of this study is that the implementation of belajar.id policy has been effectively undergoing, as that proved with the following facts: (1) The majority of respondents have utilized belajar.id account for their daily activities, with varying frequency of use; (2) The use of belajar.id accounts is not only focused on one tool, but varied on three tools, i.e. Google Classroom, Google Form and Google Meet; (3) Training on the use of belajar.id accounts is obtained from Google Masters, colleagues, and others. Support from the government is still needed to further broaden the use of belajar.id accounts, since there are still respondents who have not received training on belajar.id accounts.
