Abstract

This study aims to explore user preferences for movie genres based on rating behavior in the MovieLens dataset during the period of 2023 to 2024. Using exploratory data analysis (EDA) techniques, this research examines the distribution of ratings, genre popularity in terms of average and total ratings, and behavior of the most active users. The results of the study indicate that Drama, Action, and Comedy are the most frequently watched and rated genres by users in the MovieLens dataset. However, genres such as Film-Noir, War, and Western have the highest average ratings, despite having relatively fewer ratings. These findings suggest that user preferences are influenced not only by the popularity of genres but also by the satisfaction level with films in those genres. Furthermore, analysis of the most active users reveals variations in individual preferences, which can serve as a foundation for developing more personalized and accurate recommendation systems.

Abstract

In the digital era, information technology plays a crucial role in supporting various activities, including education. One increasingly developed technology implementation is a web-based student violation recording system. This system not only simplifies the process of recording and monitoring violation data but can also be integrated with student character development programs. At SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta, character development is a crucial part of the educational process, but its implementation still faces various challenges, particularly regarding the effectiveness and efficiency of digital data recording. This research aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for a prototype-based character development system web application using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method. This method is used to ensure that the application design truly centers on the needs of the user, in this case the Student Affairs Team. Through this approach, the application is expected to present an easy-to-use, engaging interface and provide a positive user experience. The result of this research is a web application prototype design that can display historical student violation data, facilitate the development process more efficiently, and present interactive data visualizations to assist the school in analyzing student character development. Therefore, this application is expected to support the increased effectiveness of character development at SMK Negeri 56 Jakarta and become a digital solution that adapts to the needs of modern education.

Abstract

Abstract: In the retail and manufacturing industries, intense competition requires companies to make swift and precise decisions to maintain or increase profitability. Accurate sales forecasting is a fundamental key to the sustainability and growth of mattress retail businesses. Rising sales volumes also impact warehouse stock requirements; however, difficulties in identifying customer demand trends can lead to potential stockouts, where specific products requested by customers cannot be fulfilled. This increase in customer demand and sales volume must be balanced with effective inventory management strategies to ensure all customer requirements are met. Consequently, this research utilizes Data Mining to predict sales patterns and customer demand through a Simple Linear Regression approach to address these challenges. Sales predictions are analyzed using the Simple Linear Regression algorithm, while the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) is employed to measure forecasting error. Based on the testing results, the RMSE value for product Kasur 90X200 was found to be 2.5295. The implementation of this Data Mining application is expected to provide valuable insights for business owners to optimize warehouse inventory levels, thereby supporting enhanced product marketing and sales strategies. Keywords: Data mining, Linear Regression, Sales, Forecasting, Stock Abstrak: Dalam industri ritel dan manufaktur, tingkat persaingan yang ketat menuntut perusahaan untuk mengambil keputusan yang cepat dan tepat untuk mempertahankan atau meningkatkan keuntungan. Prediksi penjualan yang akurat menjadi kunci utama bagi keberlangsungan dan pertumbuhan toko kasur. Peningkatan penjualan juga berimpact pada tuntutan akan ketersediaan stock di gudang, dimana hal ini berpengaruh pada sulit untuk menentukan trend permintaan pelanggan, sehingga potensi beberapa produk yang diminta oleh pelanggan tidak dapat dipenuhi. Meningkatnya permintaan pelanggan dan volume penjualan tersebut harus diimbangi dengan strategi penyediaan barang di gudang agar setiap permintaan pelanggan dapat terpenuhi. Atas dasar hal itu maka perlu kiranya dilakukan penelitian dengan memanfaatkan Data Mining untuk dapat memprediksi pola penjualan dan permintaan pelanggan dengan pendekatan Regresi Linear sederhana sehingga didapatkan solusi atas permasalahan yang terjadi tersebut. Prediksi penjualan diteliti dengan menggunakan algoritma regresi linear sederhana dan nilai error yang digunakan untuk mengukur kesalahan peramalan yaitu Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). Berdasarkan hasil pengujian nilai RMSE untuk produk Kasur 90X200 sebesar 2,5295. Hasil implementasi dari aplikasi Data Mining ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi pemilik usaha untuk meningkatkan ketersediaan barang di gudang sehingga peningkatan pemasaran produk dan strategi penjualan dapat tercapai. Abstract

Abstract: Web accessibility is a crucial aspect in fulfilling the right to information for all levels of society, including people with disabilities. The Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) website, as a national strategic information portal, is responsible for providing inclusive digital services. This study aims to evaluate the level of accessibility compliance of the BPKP website based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard. The research methodology adopts the WCAG-EM 1.0 framework integrated with the Accessibility Compliance Score (ACCS) model. Testing was conducted in a hybrid manner through automated audits using Axe DevTools and Google Lighthouse, as well as manual verification against the latest WCAG 2.2 criteria, namely Focus Not Obscured and Target Size. The evaluation was applied to five main pages of the BPKP website. The results showed that the BPKP website obtained an ACS score of 87.14% with a predicate of "Very Good". However, an accumulated failure weight of 328 points was still found. The largest failure was identified on the Contact & Location page, mainly due to third-party map elements that had color contrast issues and the absence of title attributes. Furthermore, consistent violations of the Target Size criteria indicate that the website is not fully optimized for touchscreen users and individuals with motor disabilities. This study recommends improvements to critical elements to sustainably enhance the inclusiveness of BPKP's digital services. Abstrak: Aksesibilitas web merupakan aspek krusial dalam pemenuhan hak atas informasi bagi seluruh lapisan masyarakat, termasuk penyandang disabilitas. Website Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) sebagai portal informasi strategis nasional memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menyediakan layanan digital yang inklusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat kepatuhan aksesibilitas website BPKP berdasarkan standar Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Metodologi penelitian mengadopsi kerangka kerja WCAG-EM 1.0 yang diintegrasikan dengan model Skor Kepatuhan Aksesibilitas (S-KA). Pengujian dilakukan secara hibrida melalui audit otomatis menggunakan Axe DevTools dan Google Lighthouse, serta verifikasi manual terhadap kriteria terbaru WCAG 2.2, yaitu Focus Not Obscured dan Target Size. Evaluasi diterapkan pada lima halaman utama website BPKP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa website BPKP memperoleh nilai S-KA sebesar 87,14% dengan predikat “Sangat Baik”. Namun, masih ditemukan akumulasi bobot kegagalan sebesar 328 poin. Kegagalan terbesar teridentifikasi pada halaman Kontak & Lokasi, terutama akibat elemen peta pihak ketiga yang memiliki masalah kontras warna dan ketiadaan atribut title. Selain itu, pelanggaran konsisten pada kriteria Target Size mengindikasikan bahwa website belum sepenuhnya optimal bagi pengguna layar sentuh dan individu dengan keterbatasan motorik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perbaikan elemen kritis untuk meningkatkan inklusivitas layanan digital BPKP secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

The research analyzes astrophysical phenomena in binary stars, fast stars, white dwarfs, and neutron stars, taking relativistic effects into account using Hipparcos catalog data. The objectives are to evaluate the relativistic precession of binary stars, the Shapiro delay due to the supermassive black hole Sgr A, the relativistic correction of neutron star luminosity, the distribution of star populations in the Hertzsprung–Russell diagram, the gravitational redshift of white dwarfs, and the characteristics of stars with extreme transverse velocities. Data from 10,726 binary star systems and 602 white dwarfs were processed numerically using R for data manipulation, visualization, and statistical calculations. The results show that relativistic precession in binary stars is generally small, increases in narrow orbits, and follows a power law with respect to the semi-major axis (exponent −0.453). Shapiro delay varies with projected distance to Sgr A, with most stars experiencing small delays, while some experience delays of up to 310 seconds. Neutron star luminosity shows a relativistic correction of ~0.03%, consistent with gravitational redshift and time dilation. The Hertzsprung–Russell diagram shows a clear separation between giants, main sequence stars, and white dwarfs, with a significant linear relationship between absolute magnitude and color index (B−V). The gravitational redshift of white dwarfs is controlled by radius (exponent −1.0001), while stars with extreme velocities form a heterogeneous and evenly distributed population. In conclusion, Hipparcos data support general relativity predictions and enable quantitative evaluation of stellar physics and evolution. Research novelties include systematic measurements of relativistic precession, Shapiro delay, neutron star luminosity corrections, white dwarf radius–redshift relationships, and kinematic characteristics of extreme stars.

Abstract

The Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia faces challenges in monitoring and distributing public reports, which are still conducted manually and therefore lack effectiveness and integration. This study aims to develop a web-based Report Distribution Monitoring System Module to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of report management within the Supervision Service Unit. The system was developed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which includes the stages of requirements planning, user design, construction, and cutover. The system was implemented as a web-based application using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database. System testing was carried out using black box testing involving Super Admin, Admin, and User roles to evaluate functional suitability. The test results indicate that all main system features operate in accordance with user requirements. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Modul Sistem Pemantauan Distribusi Laporan Berbasis Web guna meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan transparansi pengelolaan laporan pada Unit Layanan Pengawasan. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang meliputi tahap requirements planning, user design, construction, dan cutover. Sistem dikembangkan berbasis web menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan basis data MySQL. Pengujian sistem dilakukan melalui metode black box testing dengan melibatkan pengguna Super Admin, Admin, dan User untuk menguji kesesuaian fungsi sistem. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur utama berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai sarana pendukung pemantauan dan distribusi laporan masyarakat secara terstruktur dan terintegrasi.
