Abstract

Catcalling adalah bentuk pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di ruang publik, yang meliputi perilaku seperti siulan, komentar merendahkan, atau ucapan yang tidak diminta mengenai penampilan fisik seseorang, khususnya yang ditujukan kepada perempuan. Bentuk pelecehan seksual verbal ini sulit diberantas karena sering dianggap sebagai perilaku yang dapat diterima secara sosial. Berdasarkan data dari Kementerian Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak, terdapat 29.883 kasus kekerasan yang dilaporkan di Indonesia pada tahun 2023, termasuk 13.156 kasus kekerasan seksual. Selain itu, Komnas Perempuan mencatat 29.911 kasus kekerasan seksual pada tahun 2020, dengan 3.915 kejadian terjadi di ruang publik. Dari jumlah tersebut, 64% merupakan kekerasan seksual, yang mencakup 1.136 kasus pelecehan seksual, 762 pemerkosaan, dan 394 pelecehan lainnya.Sebagai tanggapan terhadap isu ini, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat pemahaman siswa di SMA Negeri 11 Maros terhadap perilaku catcalling. Kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mendorong sikap pencegahan terhadap pelecehan seksual. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 November di SMA Negeri 11 Maros, Kecamatan Maros Baru, Kabupaten Maros, Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Program ini menggunakan kombinasi metode ceramah dan permainan edukatif seperti “Tebak Kata” dan “Temukan Aku” untuk menyampaikan materi mengenai definisi, bentuk, faktor penyebab, dampak, metode pencegahan, dan peran remaja dalam menghadapi kasus catcalling.Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan peserta, sebagaimana terlihat dari peningkatan skor pre-test ke post-test terkait pencegahan perundungan, dari 50% menjadi 66,7%. Disarankan agar pihak sekolah memberikan perhatian lebih terhadap kejadian catcalling di lingkungan sekolah demi kenyamanan dan keamanan siswa. Upaya pencegahan yang berkelanjutan sangat penting untuk menangani masalah ini secara efektif di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the challenges and strategies employed by multi-subject teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process at SD Nurul Sakinah Azzahrah, Sorong City. The emergence of multi-subject teachers is a consequence of the limited number of educators, requiring one teacher to handle several subjects beyond their area of expertise. This research applied a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation review. The findings reveal that teachers face several major challenges, including limited time for lesson preparation, varying levels of subject mastery, and a lack of learning media and facilities. Nevertheless, teachers demonstrate adaptability by employing strategies such as utilizing simple technology, creating context-based learning materials from the local environment, and adjusting instructional approaches to students’ characteristics. Support from school leadership and collaboration among teachers also enhance the effectiveness of learning. The study concludes that creativity, professional reflection, and strong commitment are key factors in ensuring the success of multi-subject teachers in maintaining learning quality in elementary schools with limited resources.

Abstract

 This research is purpose to describe a model for developing school quality through the implementation of character education-based extracurricular at Birrul Walidain’s Muhammadiyah Middle School and Integrated Islamic Junior High School’s Az-Zahro Sragen. The type of this research used Field Research, with a qualitative approach. The object of this research are Birrul walidain’s Muhammadiyah Middle School and Integrated Islamic Junior High School’s Az-Zahro Sragen. The subject of this research include the Headmaster, vise principal of student affairs, extracurricular coordinator and students. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity using triangulation. Data analysis was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner.The result of the study show that the implementation of improving school quality through the implementation of character education-based extracurricular is carried out in the following steps (1) Making continuous improvement. School always make continuous improvement to unsure that all component of education providers can realize the vision, mission and goals of the school. (2) Setting quality standards. The intended quality standard is to determine the quality assurance of student’s character. Ownership of these character becomes specifications for student’s graduation which consists of object, aspect, and assessment instrument. (3) Carrying out cultural changes. The purpose of this concept is to form a school culture that respect quality as the orientation of all school stakeholder. (4) Changing the organization. This change concern the duties and authorities and responsibilities of teachers carried out through a decentralized approach. (5) maintaining good relations with customers to obtain customer satisfaction.The goal of extracurricular in character education is to integrated extracurricular materials with the noble values of the nation so it can be internalized into behavior that is manifested in student’s daily activities so it can become a habit.    Keyword:education quality, extracurricular, and character education.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini dimaksudkan memberikan gambaran dan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang tantangan dan masalah yang dihadapi guru sekolah dasar di Papua Barat dalam mengajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam. Untuk mendapatkan data penelitian ini, digunakan metode kualitatif eksploratif dengan menggunakan wawancara mendalam pada 23 guru sekolah dasar pada 6 sekolah dasar. Temuan riset ini mengungkapkan tantangan guru dalam mengajar di Sekolah Dasar di Papua Barat meliputi 1). akses sekolah yang sulit meliputi akses jalan maupun jarak antara sekolah dengan pusat perkotaan yang cukup jauh yang menurunkan minat guru untuk mengajar di pedalaman sekaligus menjadi masalah bagi guru untuk mendapatkan suplai sembako yang cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. 2). Kegiatan pelatihan atau penguatan kompetensi guru berkaitan dengan kemampuan mengajar belum diperhatikan secara khusus oleh pemerintah daerah sehingga guru mengajar apa adanya sesuai dengan pengetahuan yang ia miliki. 3). tantangan berikutnya adalah pemenuhan sarana belajar yang masih terabaikan diantaranya fasilitas ruang kelas dan media pembelajaran yang belum terpenuhi. 4). Dukungan orang tua terhadap murid untuk melanjutkan pendidikan masih sangat kurang sebab anak masih diabaikan mengenai aktivitasnya di sekolah, juga label orang tua terhadap sekolah yang dianggap sebagai ruang perbaikan pengetahuan dan moral anak sehingga pusat pendidikan anak diletakkan di sekolah.

Abstract

Abstract This research explores students' expressions of admiration for science experiments at the elementary school level with the aim of understanding the dynamics and factors that influence students' emotional responses to science experiment activities. The research method involved observing facial expressions, verbal behavior, and audiovisual recordings during the implementation of science experiments in several elementary school classes. In addition, data was collected through interviews and questionnaires to get direct views from students regarding their admiration for science experiments. The results showed that students consistently expressed high levels of admiration for science experiments. Factors such as interest in the learning material, interaction with the teacher, and students' level of involvement in the experimental process play an important role in shaping their expressions of admiration. In addition, this research also identified different patterns of emotional expression depending on student characteristics, such as age level and individual interest in science. These findings contribute to our understanding of students' emotional responses to science experiment activities in elementary schools. The implications can be used to design learning strategies that are more interesting and effective in increasing students' admiration for natural science. Additionally, this study also opens the door for further research into the role of emotions in science learning and how these positive experiences can translate into increased students' understanding and interest in science.

Abstract

AbstrakPKM merupakan program kreatifitas mahasiswa yang memiliki tujuan untuk memengoptimalkan kinerja mahasiswa dalam mengaktualisasikan program ilmu yang di pelajari kepada masyarakat umum. Dimana dalam prosesnya terdapat suatu pemecahan masalah yang terdapat pada suatu kelompok masyarakat, sehingga dapat menghasilkan suatu solusi yang tepat dan di butuhkan oleh masyarakat.kurang nya pemahaman akan pentingnya permainan edukasi, kemudian kurangnya waktu untuk meluangkan waktu bersama anak serta kendala ekonomi serta susahnya untuk mengakses penjual yang menjual permainan edukatif menjadi salah satu pemicu masyarakat sangat jarang memberikan mainan yang memiliki nilai edukasi kepada anak. Hal inilah yang menjadi landasan utama diadakanya workshop membuat mainan edukatif menggunakan bahan alam dan limbah sampah sebagai bentuk pengabdian kepaa masyarakat oleh mahasiswa dalam memberikan solusi dalam memperoleh permainan edukatif dan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat serta pentingnya permainan edukatif dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak. Sehingga para oraang tua mampu mengolah barang yang ada di sekitarnya menjadi sebuah permainan yang memiliki nilai edukatif dan bermanfaat serta menarik bagi anak dan tentunya dengan biaya yang terjangkau pula. Luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat mengedukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat serta pentingnya mainan edukasi bagi anak serta dapat memicu komunikasi yang baik antara orang tua dan anak. Selain tujuan utama ada juga tujuan lain yaitu dapat di publikasikan pada jurnal nasional.Kata Kunci: Anak, Permainan, Sampah AbstractPKM is a student creativity program that has the aim of optimizing student performance in actualizing the knowledge programs learned to the general public. Where in the process there is a problem solving that exists in a community group, so that it can produce an appropriate solution and is needed by the community. Lack of understanding of the importance of educational games, then lack of time to spend time with children as well as economic constraints and difficulty in accessing sellers who sell educational games are one of the triggers for people to very rarely give toys that have educational value to children. This is the main basis for holding workshops on making educational toys using natural materials and waste waste as a form of community service by students in providing solutions in obtaining educational games and educating the public about the benefits and importance of educational games in the process of children's growth and development. So that parents are able to process the goods around them into a game that has educational value and is useful and interesting for children and of course at an affordable cost as well. The expected outcome of this activity is that this activity can educate the public about the benefits and importance of educational toys for children and can trigger good communication between parents and children. In addition to the main goal, there is also another goal, namely to be published in national journals.Keywords : Child, Game, Trash
