Abstract

ABSTRACT :According to Clarsen et al (2010) back pain is a disease that usually felt by cyclists, in his research 45% of professional cyclists experienced low back pain barriers and 20% reduced cycling activities to recover low back pain. Based on observations, it was found that the bikes of paliko bicycle club felt pain in the back to the foot area when playing a bicycle. The purpose of the study was to determine Factors Related to Lower Back Pain in Bikers of Paliko Payakumbuh 2021 Cyclist. The type of this study was descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The population was all members of the Bikes of Paliko bicycle club. By using total sampling technique, 30 people were chosen as the samples. The data were collected through questionnaires and it was analyzed by univariate analysis. The results of the univariate study showed that 10 (33.3%) respondents said they had mild pain in low back pain, 15 (50%) had moderate pain and 5 (16.7%) had  severe pain, 20 (66.7%) were men and 10 (33.3%) were female, 16 (53.3%) were adolescent age and 14 (46.7%) were adult age, 22 (73.3%) non-ergonomic saddle height and 8 (26.7%) ) ergonomics, 4 (13.3%) short duration and 26 (86.7%) long. Then, there was a significant relationship between saddle height and the occurrence of low back pain in cyclists (p-value 0.043) and there was no relationship between gender (p-value 0.223), age (p-value 0.765) and duration (p-value 0.562) with lower back pain. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there was a relationship between saddle height and low back pain in cyclists and there was no relationship between gender, age and duration of occurrence of low back pain in cyclists at the Bikes of Paliko Payakumbuh Bike Club 2021.Keywords                     : Low Back Pain, Gender, Age, Saddle Height and Duration.

Abstract

Agility is an individual's ability to change positions in certain areas. Individuals who can move to different positions at great speed and maximize good body coordination have good personal agility. This study aims to see the effect of Carioca exercise in increasing agility in boys aged 8-10 years. This type of research is quantitative using a quasi-experimental research design with one group pre and posttest design. The sample collection technique used a purposive sampling method with a total of 10 samples that met the inclusion criteria. The intervention was given 12 times with 1 rest day for 4 weeks with training 3 times a week. Increased agility was measured using the Illinois Agility Run Test. The results of univariate analysis showed that the average agility before carioca exercise intervention was 22.22 and the average agility after being given carioca exercise was 19.71. Bivariate results show that there is a difference in average agility with a P value = 0.000<a (0.05). Therefore, it is recommended that schools integrate the carioca exercise intervention method into sports learning at school to increase student agility.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that there are hundreds of millions of people whose lives are disrupted due to musculoskeletal disorders. The biomechanics and musculoskeletal system of the foot is greatly influenced by the arch of the foot. Abnormalities in the lower extremities often occur in children, so they can cause balance disorders which will affect walking speed. This study aims to look at the relationship between arch, BMI and foot posture on walking speed. This type of research is descriptive analytical. This research uses a total sampling technique with the entire population as a sample of 59 people. The research results showed that the variables related to walking speed were the archus pedis (p-value = 0.000), body mass index (p-value = 0.027), foot posture (p-value = 0.000). It was concluded that there was a relationship between the arch, BMI and foot posture on walking speed in children aged 10-12 years. Keywords        : Arkus Pedis, BMI, Foot Posture, Walking Speed ABSTRAK            World Health Organization (WHO) memberikan pernyataan bahwa terdapat ratusan juta orang terganggu kehidupan akibat gangguan musculoskeletal.
