Abstract

Broken home is defined as a family that is fractured, not harmonious and does not work like a harmonious and peaceful family. The condition of a broken home family encourages children to have resilience skills in living life. Students who are in a disharmonious family environment will have an impact on themselves, one of which is a lack of motivation to learn. This study aims to determine the relationship between the resilience abilities of broken home students and their learning motivation at MAN 2 Yogyakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational methods. Data analysis technique using pearson product moment correlation. The population in this study were all broken home students in class X and XI MAN 2 Yogyakarta, consisting of 31 students. The research results obtained p = 0.003<0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The correlation coefficient of 0.521 is positive in the range 0.40-0.599 in the medium category. The results obtained indicate that there is a significant relationship between resilience abilities and the learning motivation of broken home students at MAN 2 Yogyakarta with a moderate level of relationship.

Abstract

Mata kuliah Fisika merupakan mata kuliah wajib pada Program Studi Teknik Pendingin dan Tata Udara Politeknik Negeri Indramayu. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh dosen pengampu yaitu lemahnya daya tangkap mahasiswa dalam hal konsep fisika. Solusi yang ditawarkan dalam mengatasi permasalahan ialah penggunaan laboratorium virtual dalam mata kuliah fisika. Pelatihan telah dilakukan kepada 30 mahasiswa semester 1 yang mengambil mata kuliah fisika. Dari hasil pelatihan terlihat mahasiswa dapat melakukannya dengan baik. Hal ini dikarenakan penjelasan konsep fisika yang bukan hanya sekedar ceramah akan tetapi terdapat animasi yang membuat mahasiswa mudah menangkap pelajaran.

Abstract

The research aims to develop patterned batik motifs through a combination of batik tulis and remekan techniques on bomber jacket clothing. The main idea comes from koi fish as a symbol of wealth and strength and a typical icon of Blitar City. The design process uses a three-stage creation method according to Gustami SP, namely exploration, design, and embodiment. Exploration is carried out through visual studies of koi fish, lotus flowers, and other supporting elements which are then developed into batik motifs. The design stage produces 6 motif designs on jackets, and patterned motifs on 250 x 115 cm fabric. The selected designs are realized through batik tulis and remekan techniques. The production process includes coloring, rolling, cutting materials, and sewing to become complete clothing. The results of the work show a combination of traditional artistic values ​​and contemporary design. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire to 50 respondents to assess the selection of motifs and the assessment of the results of the design analysis aspects, motifs, colors, and final results. The majority of respondents stated that the work has high visual appeal. This work is an innovation in modern batik and encourages the interest of the younger generation in local culture.
