Abstract

This study aimed to test the effectiveness of contextual teaching and learning model assisted by geoboard on mathematics learning outcomes of area and perimeter subject in the fourth grade at Tamansari Cluster Elementary School Kebumen Regency. The design of this study was quasi-experimental in the form of nonequivalent control group. The population in this study were all the fourth grade students at Tamanwinangun 4 Elementary School as the experimental class and fourth grade students at Tamanwinangun 3 Elementary School as the control class. The data collection techniques used test and non-test techniques. The hypothetical analysis test used the z test, t test and N-gain test. The result showed that the CTL learning model assisted by geoboard was more effective which surpassed 75% of the passing grade while the control class did not reach 75%, tcount (4.06)> ttable (1.67), and n-gain experimental class (0.6529)> control class (0.5078). The conclusion of this research was that the CTL learning model assisted by geoboard was more effective to gain the mathematics learning outcomes in the fourth grade at Tamansari Cluster Elementary School Kebumen Regency.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Inklusi satu-satunya di Kecamatan Pringapus yaitu SD N Klepu 02 memiliki kendala dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi karena tidak ada guru pendamping khusus. Di setiap kelas ada dua sampai empat Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) yang perlu dilayani secara khusus karena kebanyakan belum cakap dalam hal membaca dan menulis. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan para guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilannya dalam mengelola pembelajaran bagi ABK khususnya dalam melayani pembelajaran dengan sistem Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) di masa pandemic covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi para guru SDN Klepu 02. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang berbagai model pendidikan inklusi dari rata-rata skor 50 menjadi 76. Sedangkan model pengembangan kurikulum yang diimplementasikan di SDN Klepu 02 adalam model modifikasi dan model substitusi. Pembelajaran bagi siswa BDR yang diselenggarakan dalam masa pandemic covid-19 di SDN Klepu 02 dengan aspek menonjol yang tampak adalah melibatkan peran orangtua dan lingkungan belajar siswa (84%), fokus pada literasi dan numerasi, perilaku hidup sehat, spiritual keagamaan, penguatan karakter dan budaya (78%), serta menyederhanakan materi pokok dalam sub-sub materi agar terarah (78%).

Abstract

Learning media can help in improving the students’ skills, so they can achieve the learning objectives effectively. This research is development research that aims to create learning media that is feasible and valid. This research uses concrete objects in the form of cards for multiplying fraction materials in grade 5 Public Primary School of Tambakaji 04 Semarang. The research was conducted by using Sugiyono’s development method. The techniques of data collection conducted in this study were (1) questionnaire, to evaluate the media validity, obtained through validation by the validators, (2) test, to measure the media effectiveness obtained through students’ learning outcomes. The results show that the average score of media validity is 90%, and media effectiveness from students’ learning outcomes is 0.4. Therefore, this learning media is practical and feasible so that it can be used in multiplying fractions learning in the fifth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media Geometry Fun Activity berciri konservasi dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan mengetahui kelayakan media Geometry Fun Activity. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Proses pengembangan media Geometry Fun Activity meliputi tahap: (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) implementasi, (5) evaluasi. Validasi media dilakukan oleh seorang ahli media dan ahli materi. Media yang dihasilkan diujicobakan kepada 30 orang mahasiswa semester 4 Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Semarang (Jurusan PGSD FIP UNNES). Hasil pengembangan media Geometry Fun Activity ini berupa media latihan soal yang dikombinasikan dengan gambar yang bertema konservasi khususnya konservasi etika seni dan budaya. Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan bahwa media layak digunakan terbukti dengan validasi ahli media mendapatkan nilai 3,6 yang artinya masuk dalam kategori layak digunakan, ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 3,4 masuk dalam kategori layak digunakan tanpa revisi, dan respon positif mahasiswa sebanyak 95,2% menyatakan media layak digunakan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu referensi untuk melengkapi pembelajaran geometri, dapat memberikan sumbangan bagi pengembangan media geometri.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran yang diberikan guru kepada peserta didik dalam menyampaiakan materi pada pembelajaran Matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan desain, menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan media papan napier dilengkapi LKPD untuk upaya peningkatan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas III SD Negeri Sewukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (RnD) dengan model penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gell hanya sampai pada langkah ke-8. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji t, dan uji N-gain. Produk media papan napier dilengkapi LKPD berbentuk media fisik yang menggunakan aplikasi CorelDraw dan Canva. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian dari ahli materi dan ahli media mendapatkan kriteria sangat layak. Media papan napier dilengkapi LKPD efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran Matematika materi perkalian dan pembagian bersusun. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dari hasil uji t-test yang menunjukkan bahwa thitung (2,659) > ttabel (2,576) pada skala kecil, dan thitung (6,512) > ttabel (2,144) pada skala besar yang artinya adanya perbedaan antara nilai pretest dan posttest, serta hasil uji N-gain yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 0,43 dan 0,57 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media papan napier dilengkapi LKPD dikembangkan berbentuk media fisik yang menggunakan aplikasi Corel Draw dan Canva, dan pengembangan media papan napier dilengkapi LKPD layak serta efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran Matematika materi perkalian dan pembagian bersusun. This study was motivated by the lack of learning media that teachers provide to students as teaching materials in mathematics classes. The purpose of this study was to develop a design, test the feasibility and effectiveness of the Napier board media equipped with LKPD to improve the learning outcomes of third-grade Mathematics students at SD Negeri Sewukan. This research used Research and Development (RnD) research with the Borg and Gell development research model only up to the 8th step. Data collection techniques using test and non-test techniques. Data analysis techniques with normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and N-gain test. Napier board media products are equipped with LKPD in the form of physical media using Corel Draw and Canva applications. The results showed that the assessment from material experts and media experts received very feasible criteria. Napier board media equipped with LKPD is effectively used in learning Mathematics material on multiplication and division in series.This is evidenced by the results of the t-test, which shows that t-count (2.659) > t-table (2.576) on a small scale, and t-count (6.512) > t-table (2.144) on a large scale, which means that there is a difference between pretest and posttest values, as well as N-gain test results which show an average increase of 0.43 and 0.57 which are included in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is that Napier board media equipped with LKPD was developed in the form of physical media using the Corel Draw application and Carva, and the development of Napier board media equipped with LKPD feasible and effective use in learning Mathematics multiplication and division materials.

Abstract

This research intends to describe the ability of first-year students to understand numbers and to explain their thinking processes in the arithmetic operations of addition and subtraction studied in Bruner's theory. Under the qualitative method with descriptive research design, this research was carried out during the 2nd batch of the Kampus Mengajar program, which the researcher joined. The research subjects were first-grade students at SD Sumogawe 04. The data were collected through several techniques, including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicated different understanding levels of the students. Once a student gets the number conservation laws, s/he is ready to learn the concept of numbers and their operations. The arithmetic operations taught to grade I students are addition and subtraction. Applying Bruner's learning theory could improve the quality of learning the target theme and stimulate the students' active participation in classroom activities which simultaneously led them to conceptual discovery.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the evaluation of the Kampus Merdeka program using the Tyler program evaluation method: goal oriented. The research methods used are quantitative and qualitative, with a descriptive research design. The research was conducted at SD Negeri Banyumeneng 02 Demak Regency. The data collection technique was completed by filling out questionnaires, interviews, and documentation by resource persons, namely guest teachers, principals, and field supervisors (DPL). The results of the study showed that the results of questionnaires and interviews with sources at the time of formulation, when implemented, and reports on the implementation of the Teaching Campus class 2 student work program in terms of cultural aspects, curriculum aspects, and aspects of technology adaptation in learning obtained a significant increase from the three aspects of the study. The results showed that the suitability of the Teaching Campus class 2 student work program with the objectives of the Teaching Campus class 2 program was 87.547%. Based on the methods and stages of Tyler W.'s goal-oriented evaluation, the evaluation of the Teaching Campus class 2 student work program is based on the objectives of the Teaching Campus program. The implementation of the work program is guided by the program's objectives, producing outputs beneficial to schools and students so that the Teaching Campus program activities are worth continuing.Keywords: evaluation; Kampus Mengajar; work program.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan evaluasi program Kampus Merdeka dengan metode evaluasi program Tyler: Goal Oriented. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Banyumeneng 02 Kabupaten Demak. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang diisi oleh narasumber yakni guru pamong, kepala sekolah, dan dosen pembimbing lapangan (DPL). Hasil penelitian diketahui hasil angket dan wawancara narasumber pada saat perumusan, saat dilaksanakan, dan laporan pelaksanaan program kerja mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 dalam segi aspek budaya, aspek kurikulum, dan aspek adaptasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran didapat kenaikan yang signifikan dari ketiga aspek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesesuaian program kerja mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 dengan tujuan program Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 memperoleh 87,547%. Berdasarkan metode dan tahapan evaluasi goal-oriented Tyler W. dalam evaluasi program kerja mahasiswa Kampus Mengajar angkatan 2 sangat sesuai dengan tujuan program Kampus Mengajar. Penerapan program kerja yang sesuai dengan tujuan program, menghasilkan out put yang bermanfaat bagi sekolah dan juga peserta didik sehingga kegiatan program Kampus Mengajar layak diteruskan.Kata kunci: evaluasi; Kampus Mengajar; program Kerja

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a wide range of diversity in language, religion, culture, ethnicity, and customs. Diversity can trigger differences that have a negative impact, if not balanced with tolerance. Tolerance must be introduced early so that students have character values that can provide for the future. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in applying the value of multicultural education in the learning process and the importance of instilling the value of multicultural education in students. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation until triangulation. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles & Huberman theory, namely with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results of this study show that the implementation of multicultural education values can be done through habituation activities of character values in students that are arranged in the teacher's strategy.

Abstract

The implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka (KM) at Imam Bonjol Elementary School Cluster, Salatiga, requires teachers with supporting competencies. The aim of this community service activity is to integrate Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PJBL) with Social Emotional Learning (PSE) so that it can improve teacher's competencies. The team provided community service activities included training, strengthening, and mentoring to develop PBL and PJBL learning integrated with PSE mindfulness in the implementation of KM. The community service activities used PALS (Participatory Action and Learning System) method. Partner teachers participated in socialization, training, assistance in development, and institutionalization on PBL and PJBL integration with PSE mindfulness. The results showed that 100% of teachers agreed that mindfulness was important to be applied in classroom learning and 83.33% of teachers agreed that mindfulness could be applied individually by teachers or students. The teachers' understanding on the meaning of mindfulness reached 100%. Meanwhile, the teachers' understanding on examples of mindfulness practices both individually and integrated into learning, especially in PBL and PJBL learning, reached 75%. The influence of mindfulness practices related to teacher duties was 89.49%, meaning that it was influential significantly. So that this mindfulness practice can have a positive effect on teachers both in their personal lives and in their duties as teachers.
