Abstract

The objectives of the study are: (1) To determine the effectiveness of the validity of Interactive Learning Media Based on Wordwalls in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject. (2) To determine the practicality of the Development of Interactive Learning Media Based on Wordwalls in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject to Increase Student Learning Interest at MAN Seluma, Bengkulu Province. (3) To determine the effectiveness of Interactive Learning Media Based on Wordwalls in the Al-Qur'an Hadith Subject to Increase Student Learning Interest at MAN Seluma, Bengkulu Province. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research, the research instrument used is a questionnaire, the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, basic assumption tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression, t-test and F-test. Research results (1) The development in the study is interactive learning media based on wordwalls in learning the Al-Qur'an Hadith of class X students of MAN 1 Seluma. The process of interactive learning media based on wordwall uses the type of research and development (R&D) with a model developed by Thiagaranja, namely the 4-D model and modified into 3-D, namely define, design, and develop. The development of learning media based on animated videos after being validated by 3 expert validators, namely media experts, material experts and subject teachers with the results "very valid" to be developed. (2) The practicality of interactive learning media based on wordwalls in the Al Qur'an Hadith subject for class X students of MAN 1 Seluma was stated to be very practical by students at the madrasah which can be seen from the student response test with an average percentage of 94.22% and falls into the criteria "very practical". (3) The effectiveness of interactive learning media based on wordwalls is stated to be effective for use in the learning process. This is evidenced by the interest in learning and the perception of users of learning media. Evidence of learning outcomes can be seen from the results of the pretest before using the media with an average of 71.85. The results of the posttest after using the media obtained.

Abstract

Background: Islamic boarding schools play a vital role in providing religious education and fostering character development among students. One of the main aspects of character building is discipline and independence. The Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City, Bengkulu, implements a development strategy that aims to shape students who are independent and disciplined, despite facing challenges from environmental factors surrounding the boarding school. Objective: This study aims to analyze the strategies for developing discipline and independence implemented at the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, and to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in shaping the character of students. Method: This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted thematically. Results: Discipline and independence are fostered through educational sanctions, such as cleaning the environment and participating in physical activities. This guidance is practical in fostering student awareness, although it is influenced by internal and external factors, such as family background and the environment surrounding the boarding school. Conclusion: Guidance at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School is practical; however, challenges from the external environment require attention. Contribution: This study contributes to the development of a more modern and relevant character-building model in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Wordwall educational game media in improving motivation and learning outcomes for grade VII students in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MTsN 1 Bengkulu City. Employing an evaluation research design with a comparative approach, the study utilized a simple combination method. Data were gathered through observation, learning motivation questionnaires, learning outcome tests, and documentation. Data analysis compared motivation and learning outcomes before and after the use of Wordwall media. The findings indicated a significant increase in both student motivation and learning outcomes. The planning stage achieved an effectiveness level of 86.36%, showing that the integration of Wordwall educational game media into lesson planning was well-executed. During the implementation phase, the effectiveness reached 91.09%, with pre-motivation scores at 83.79% and post-motivation at 88.97%, reflecting a 5.18% improvement. Pretest learning outcomes were at 57.79% (classified as "quite effective"), while posttest results were 89.85% ("very effective"), marking a 32.06% increase. The study recommends that teachers and educational institutions incorporate Wordwall media as an effective strategy to enhance learning experiences and outcomes in Al-Qur'an Hadith education.

Abstract

Dalam konteks degradasi moral anak akibat globalisasi dan teknologi, penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi nilai budaya dalam strategi edutainment pada PAUD. Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan, menganalisis, dan mengidentifikasi keterbaruan strategi edutainment berbasis nilai budaya di TK Putra 2 Serang, Banten, dan TK Aisyiyah Curup, Bengkulu. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman digunakan. Populasi mencakup guru, kepala sekolah, dan dokumen di kedua TK, dengan sampel purposif dari responden kunci. Instrumen meliputi pedoman observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian, verifikasi triangulasi, dan kesimpulan. Hasil menunjukkan integrasi nilai gotong royong, toleransi, hormat, tanggung jawab, spiritualitas, dan pelestarian lingkungan melalui model klasikal, kelompok, area, sudut, sentra, STEAM, dan demonstrasi. Kesimpulan menyatakan edutainment berbasis budaya memperkuat karakter anak holistik melawan degradasi moral era digital.
