Abstract

The learning process will be more meaningful if it applies learning that can be a place for students to be able to improve cognitive abilities. This research is motivated by a problem, namely the low cognitive abilities of students in the science learning content of fifth grade students at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. This is evidenced by the acquisition of a class average of 48 and still below the school completeness criteria. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe how the application of the outdoor study method to science content can improve the cognitive abilities of fifth grade students at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. This research was conducted at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is classroom action research, which consists of II cycles with research procedures carried out through 4 stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SDN 14/I Sungai Baung. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The results showed that by applying the outdoor study method to the science learning content of fifth grade students was able to improve students' cognitive abilities. This can be seen in the increase in student learning activities and this increase can be seen in the data analysis of each meeting cycle, namely the results of the initial test obtained the percentage of learning completeness, namely 28.6% with an average value of 50. In cycle I, the percentage of student learning completeness was obtained increased to 66.7% with an average value of 69.28. In cycle II the percentage of student learning completeness increased again to 95.2% with an average value of 80.05

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website menggunakan google sites pada muatan IPA kelas V subtema memelihara kesehatan organ pernapasan manusia di sekolah dasar dan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website menggunakan google sites pada muatan IPA kelas V subtema memelihara kesehatan organ pernapasan manusia di sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu model pengembangan DDD-E (Decide, Design, Develop, Evaluate). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa uji coba validasi dari penilaian ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 4,63 dengan kategori sangat valid, penilaian dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 4,54 dengan kategori produk sangat valid serta penilaian dari ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 4,30 dengan kategori sangat valid. Penilaian dari respon guru mendapat rata-rata sebesar 4,5 dengan kategori Sangat Praktis, dan penilaian dari respon peserta didik pada uji kelompok besar mendapat skor rata-rata 4,75 dengan kategori sangat praktis serta penilaian dari penilaian respon siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil mendapat rata-rata 4,73 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis website menggunakan google sites pada muatan IPA kelas V subtema memelihara kesehatan organ pernapasan manusia di sekolah dasar secara keseluruhan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana data yang diambil yaitu berupa data observasi melalui lembar observasi pengamatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dan lembar observasi guru menerapkan model pembelajaran project based learning, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning pada muatan IPA terlihat dari pertemuan pada siklus I pertemuan pertama sebanyak 43,14%, siklus I pertemuan kedua 53,57% dengan peningkatan sebanyak 10%. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama 64,57% dengan peningkatan 11% dan pertemuan kedua telah tercapai kriteria ketuntasan keberhasilan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan oleh peneliti diperoleh sebesar 74,71%. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa pada muatan IPA di kelas V SDN 45/I Sridadi mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran project based learning. Hal ini dibuktikan pada pertemuan terakhir pada siklus I persentase keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa yaitu53,57%, kemudian pada pertemuan terakhir siklus II persentase keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa mengalami peningkatan menjadi 74,71% dari jumlah siswa sebanyak 35 orang. Maka tindakan yang diberikan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berhasil dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the readiness of teachers in implementing the Independent Curriculum in elementary schools. This research was conducted at the State Elementary School 34/I Teratai, Kec. Muara Bulian Kab, Batang Hari, Jambi Province. The type of research used is qualitative research with descriptive research. The research data were obtained through observation and interviews (as the main data) and document studies (as supporting data). The results in this study indicate that teacher readiness is an important component in curriculum implementation. teacher readiness in the process of implementing the independent curriculum at SDN 34/I is in the pretty good category. This is related to the teacher's presentation of the independent curriculum which shows that the teacher understands well the concept, objectives, mechanisms and structure of implementing the independent curriculum, but there are still a number of things that need to be studied further regarding lesson planning or making teaching modules. At the implementation stage the teacher has implemented the independent curriculum in accordance with government directives, namely carrying out project learning to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (P5) and differentiated learning. At the assessment stage the teacher carries out diagnostic, formative and summative assessments and processes these assessments to see the achievement of learning and become evaluation material. From the research results obtained, for the process of implementing the independent curriculum in the first year, schools and teachers are expected to always work together so that the process of implementing the independent curriculum is more optimal. It is hoped that the results of this study can have benefits for further research.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah 1. meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam pengembangan diri seni hadroh. 2. meningkatkan pemahaman, kemampuan dan keterampilan siswa dalam pengembangan diri seni hadroh. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode interaktif, tahapan kegiatan ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Survei pendahuluan. 2) Pelatihan Pengembangan Diri Seni Hadroh. 3) Pembinaan pelaksanaan Pengembangan Diri Seni Hadroh Memberikan bantuan kepada sekolah mitra dalam pengembangan diri atau kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seni hadroh. Melatih, memberikan pemahaman, bimbingan dan arahan dalam proses pengembangan seni hadroh kepada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian, pengembangan diri seni hadroh terlaksana dengan baik, siswa mampu bermain hadroh dengan sholawat dengan baik.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the limited use of interactive learning media in science and social studies (IPAS), particularly in teaching the human digestive system in Grade V elementary school. Learning activities were still dominated by lectures and textbooks, resulting in low student engagement and difficulties in understanding abstract concepts. This research aimed to develop a Mystery Box learning media assisted by QR Code that meets the criteria of validity and practicality. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The research was conducted at SD Negeri 182/I Hutan Lindung involving expert validators, teachers, and Grade V students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation questionnaires, and practicality questionnaires. The validation results indicated that the media was categorized as very valid, with a score of 96.66% from media experts, 96.66% from material experts, and 100% from language experts. The practicality test showed that the teacher’s response reached 94.28%, categorized as very practical. These findings demonstrate that the QR Code-assisted Mystery Box media is feasible and practical to be implemented in IPAS learning on the human digestive system topic in Grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to find out, study, and describe school policies on the use of gadgets in SDN 13/I Rengas Condong and is expected to be able to find the right policies towards the use of gadget by students in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collected using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study showed that students not allowed to bring gadget to school. But researcher found there are still students who bring gadget to school. This is because of the lack of control by the teacher, headmaster, or staf of school.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Improvement 0f Students' Science Process Skills Using the Guided Discovery Learning Model on Science Content in Elementary Schools. Classroom action research conducted in two cycles where each cycle is carried out twice a meeting and consists of four stages namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class IV A SDN 64/1 Muara Bulian with 27 students consisting of 11 boys and 16 girls. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and documentation. The observation instruments of this research are student science process skills observation sheets and teacher activity observation sheets in each cycle. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative. The results showed that there was an increase in the science process skills of students in class IV Elementary School, which can be seen from the results of student observations in cycle 1 with a percentage of success of 67.6% and cycle 2 with a percentage of success of 82.9%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students' science process skills in science learning content after the action of applying the GDL (guided discovery learning) model.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe in more depth the process of implementing responsibility and discipline character education as well as the supporting factors for achieving the cultivation of character values through extracurricular scout education at state elementary school 212/IV, Jambi City. This research was conducted at state elementary school 212/IV, Jambi City in November 2023. This research used qualitative research methods with a phenomenological type of research. Research data was obtained by interviewing supervisors, school principals, students and their parents. After obtaining the interview results, the data was analyzed qualitatively. The results of the research show that the implementation of extracurricular activities in the context of instilling character values is effective in various attitudes or characteristics of students, especially in the character of responsibility and discipline. This was achieved due to the seriousness of the coaches in instilling character education in students where the coaches themselves were very competent and certified. Thus, the cultivation of character values is also supported by the school principal providing adequate and sufficient facilities and infrastructure to be used during each training session. From the results of this research, instilling character values through scout extracurricular activities at SD Negeri 212/IV Jambi City has been achieved well with the supporting factors of adequate facilities and infrastructure, support from the school principal or kamabigus, certified and competent scout leaders and support from the participants' parents. educate.
