Abstract

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a tool used to prevent or minimize the occurrence of work accidents. Compliance with the use of PPE must be carried out by every worker who will enter the work area. This research was conducted at PT. Syngenta Seed Indonesia with the aim of knowing the description of worker compliance in the use of personal protective equipment at PT. Syngenta Seed Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive type of research. Data collection in this study was obtained by means of observation and questionnaire surveys. The sample of this research is all permanent workers in the production division as many as 24 workers. The variables studied were trust, accept, act, and worker compliance in the use of PPE.The purpose of this study is to determine the level of employee confidence in using PPE. The results of the study indicate that the trust aspect of the workers is mostly in the good category. While the aspects of receiving (accept) and aspects of doing (act) workers are mostly in the less category. From the aspect of believing (belief) as many as 18 (47%) workers are obedient, aspects of accepting (accept) as many as 11 (29%) workers are obedient, and aspects of doing (act) as many as 9 (24%) workers are obedient in the use of PPE so that the value of compliance is obtained. workers by 38 (100%). The conclusion of this study is that workers who have a good level of confidence in the use of PPE do not necessarily manifest in attitudes and actions because it can be caused by several factors, one of which is the convenience of using PPE.

Abstract

Refill Drinking Water Depot (DAMIU) is a business entity that manages drinking water for consumer needs at a price that is relatively cheap and easy to reach for consumers whose economy is middle to lower. If the processed product of the refill drinking water depot does not meet the requirements, it can cause the spread of disease.. The sample population was 24 samples from the inlet and outlet by doing 2 treatments at each Refill Drinking Water Depot. Laboratory examination was carried out with Microbiological Parameters, namely Coliform Bacteria in accordance with the quality standards of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 492/Menkes/PER/IV/2010. The results obtained by conducting laboratory results that from 6 refill drinking water depots in the work area of the Parang Health Center, Magetan Regency, do not meet the requirements. And from the results of the Observation Sheet, it was found that the Filtration results contained 3 Refillable Drinking Water Depots that met the requirements and the results of Disinfection there were 3 Eligible Refill Drinking Water Depots. From this research, it can be concluded that from the 6 Refill Drinking Water Depots in the Work Area of the Parang Health Center, Magetan Regency, they do not meet the requirements and the results of the observation sheets from the 6 Refill Drinking Water Depots in the Parang Health Center Work Area, Magetan Regency do not meet the requirements due to the filter. Abstract

Desa Rejomulyo, yang terletak di lereng Gunung Lawu, menghadapi masalah dalam pengelolaan sampah setelah penutupan beberapa Tempat Pengelolaan Sampah (TPS). Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan timbulan sampah rumah tangga sehingga warga yang kurang pengetahuan manajemen pengelolaan smapah, membuang sampah di kebun atau membakarnya dan menciptakan masalah lingkungan berupa pencemaran udara dan tanah. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) oleh Prodi Sanitasi Diploma III Kampus Magetan bertujuan mendukung pengelolaan sampah melalui Bank Sampah Mandiri, untuk meningkatkan keterampilan warga dalam memanfaatkan sampah anorganik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan, pendidikan, pelatihan, dan praktek lapangan dengan mitra Karang Taruna Tunas Remaja. Hasilnya, warga menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dari 60% menjadi 90% dalam pemilahan dan pengelolaan sampah, yang berpotensi menjadi sumber pendapatan baru. Program ini juga memberi peluang bagi dosen dan mahasiswa untuk mengaplikasikan pengetahuan mereka.

Abstract

Menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 43 Tahun 2014, air minum yang aman bagi kesehatan adalah air yang melalui proses pengolahan atau tanpa proses pengolahan yang memenuhi syarat kesehatan dan dapat langsung diminum. Persyaratan fisika, mikrobiologis, dan kimia yang harus dipenuhi oleh air minum diatur dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Republik Indonesia Nomor 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010. Dari hasil penelitian, 70% tempat, peralatan, penangan, air baku, dan air minum telah memenuhi persyaratan higiene sanitasi. Namun, 30% dari 13 Depot Air Minum (DAM) tersebut masih belum memenuhi syarat kesehatan. Ventilasi sangatlah penting untuk menciptakan ruang dengan ventilasi yang memadai agar suhu di dalam sesuai dengan suhu di luar. Selain itu, membuka tempat pembuangan sampah dan fasilitas umum lainnya sehingga menjadi sarang penyakit. Penilaian kualitas air Depot Air Minum (DAM) pada bakteriologi semua memenuhi syarat kesehatan dengan kandungan MPN Coliform 0/100ml atau 100% memenuhi syarat kesehatan, sehingga layak di konsumsi konsumen. Untuk memperoleh sertifikat higiene sanitasi Depot Air Minum (DAM), pemilik Depot Air Minum (DAM) wajib mengikuti pelatihan pengelola atau penangan agar dapat menjaga higiene sanitasi yang memenuhi syarat kesehatan.
