Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the digital marketing capacity of fish-processing micro-enterprises in Labuhan Burung Village, Buer District, Sumbawa Regency. The participants were 25 women, mainly spouses of capture-fishery and aquaculture workers, who developed premium and non-premium fish-ball products. The program applied participatory training and practice-based mentoring for approximately four months, covering needs identification, segmentation-targeting-positioning, digital platform selection, AIDA-based content development, product photography, packaging, labeling, and sales communication. Evaluation was descriptive and used participant observation, discussions, documentation, and assessment of practice outputs. The activities indicated that participants were able to distinguish the roles of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp; prepare more focused promotional messages; practice product photography; and understand the relationship between packaging, labels, information transparency, and consumer trust. The products have begun to reach consumers in Labuhan Burung, Buer, and surrounding areas. The program confirms that MSME digitalization should begin with product readiness, concentration on one or two priority channels, and consistent content production. Further quantitative evaluation is required to measure competency improvement, sales conversion, and business sustainability.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid growth of social media as a medium for digital marketing, particularly for men’s skincare brands such as Kahf, which are widely favored by Generation Z. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of influencers, user reviews, and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions for the Kahf brand through social media, focusing on Generation Z in Sumbawa Besar. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design, involving 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that all three independent variables—influencers, user reviews, and product quality—have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. These results highlight that influencer credibility, the authenticity of user reviews, and high product quality are key factors in building consumer trust and driving purchase decisions. In conclusion, leveraging digital marketing strategies through influencer collaboration, effective management of user reviews, and continuous product quality improvement are essential for companies to strengthen competitiveness in the era of social media–based marketing.

Abstract

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the logic of competition for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, the consequences of digital adoption on performance depend on the organizational capabilities that convert technology into market outcomes. This study analyzes the influence of digital marketing capabilities, market orientation, and digital literacy on the marketing performance of SMEs in Sumbawa Regency, Indonesia. The research uses a quantitative and explanatory design with a target population of more than 1,359 SMEs registered with local agencies that handle cooperatives, industry, trade, and SMEs. Purposive sampling requires that the business has been operating for at least two years, using digital platforms for marketing for at least one year, and is represented by the owner or main manager who understands the business's marketing strategy. The analysis model uses reflective measurement and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) thru SmartPLS 4 with 5,000 bootstrap subsamples. In this study, data from 100 respondents were used and calibrated according to the sampling design. The results show that digital marketing capability (β = 0.306; t = 5.983; p < 0.001), market orientation (β = 0.293; t = 6.031; p < 0.001), and digital literacy (β = 0.351; t = 6.846; p < 0.001) positively influence marketing performance. The model explains 54.1% of the variance in marketing performance and meets the criteria for reliability, validity, collinearity, effect size, and predictive relevance. These findings expand the resource-based and dynamic capability perspectives by demonstrating that technology-related competencies, market sensing, and human digital competencies are complementary resources for MSME performance.

Abstract

This study develops an integrated model explaining how digitalization of Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) management can improve safety performance and operational efficiency in heavy-equipment service activities at the Batu Hijau Project. The model combines a socio-technical systems perspective, digital transformation capability, and the safety-performance framework. A quantitative explanatory case design was specified and evaluated with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Because project-level primary data were not supplied for this manuscript-development stage, the analytical model was tested using a calibrated simulated dataset of 132 observations representing frontline, supervisory, technical, and SHE-related roles. The measurement model met reliability and convergent-discriminant validity criteria. Digital SHE management showed a positive effect on safety performance (β = 0.718; p < 0.001) and operational efficiency (β = 0.415; p < 0.001), while safety performance positively affected operational efficiency (β = 0.459; p < 0.001). The indirect effect was also significant (β = 0.329; p < 0.001), indicating partial mediation. The findings suggest that integrated digital workflows, mobile reporting, real-time dashboards, traceable corrective actions, and data-driven learning can simultaneously strengthen preventive safety control and reduce administrative and coordination losses. The paper offers a practical digital-SHE architecture and measurable implementation priorities for mining-service operations.

Abstract

This study aims to empirically examine the digital transformation strategy of supply chain processes to improve warehouse operational efficiency at Trakindo Batu Hijau, West Sumbawa Regency. The mining heavy equipment industry requires high precision and speed in its supply chain, making traditional warehouse operations prone to delays and errors. This research applies a quantitative approach utilizing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0 software. The sample consists of 125 respondents who are employees directly involved in supply chain and warehouse operations at Trakindo Batu Hijau, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The independent variables investigated include Warehouse Management System (WMS) Implementation, Internet of Things (IoT) Integration, and Big Data Analytics, while the dependent variable is Warehouse Operational Efficiency. The results reveal that all digital transformation components have a positive and significant effect on warehouse operational efficiency. Specifically, WMS implementation exerts the strongest impact, followed by IoT integration and Big Data Analytics. The R-Square value of 0.765 indicates that 76.5% of the variance in warehouse operational efficiency can be explained by these digital transformation strategies. These findings contribute to the Resource-Based View and Technology Acceptance Model by confirming that digital capabilities are critical assets for enhancing operational performance in remote mining environments. The study recommends that Trakindo Batu Hijau continues to invest in IoT infrastructure and staff training to sustain an agile and resilient supply chain ecosystem.
