Abstract

The spread of COVID-19 has had an impact on all sectors of life, one of which is the education sector. The teaching and learning process which was originally carried out face to face is now switching to online learning. The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the online learning method was during the COVID-19 pandemic at a private university. There are 3 methods in this research, namely synchronous, asynchronous and mixed learning methods with the nature of the research is quantitative. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of google form to 100 students and 60 lecturers as respondents. The results of research on student respondents showed that mixed online learning methods were very effective during the covid-19 pandemic with an effectiveness ratio value of 81 and a percentage of 34%. while the synchronous and asynchronous methods are quite effective with the percentages of 32% and 33%, respectively. However, lecturer respondents indicated that the three methods were quite effective with the percentage of synchronous learning 32%, asynchronous and mixed learning 34% each.

Abstract

The Web-Based One-Stop Village Public Service Information System (Case Study: Senawang Village Office, Orong Telu District) was completed using Visual Studio Code, Codeigniter programming language, and MySQL database. The research method used is qualitative, and the software development method, Prototype method, and system design method use four Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams consisting of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. It has passed the testing process using Black Box. It has successfully provided information to users (Community) regarding services, namely birth report data, death reports, registration of migrants, applications for moving residents, and applications for certificates of incapacity. It can make complaints on the website link of the Senawang Village Office, Orong Telu District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

The development of information technology and the digital world is currently very rapid in all fields that can help humans complete various activities. With computer technology, all human data processing and storage activities become very easy, fast, and automatic. The Aikmel Sub-District Office, in managing inventory of goods, still uses manual methods, making it troublesome for employees to recap data on goods as assets. In this study, the development of the Goods Inventory Information System application by the functional requirements that facilitate employees of the Aikmel Sub-District Office in managing the data of goods. Applications were developed using the Extreme Programming (XP) method and MySQL database with Xampp service. This application can facilitate inventory data management and record incoming and outgoing goods. In addition, employees can easily recap data on incoming and outgoing goods quickly and automatically.

Abstract

Areas of various tribes have distinctive characteristics, such as those of the Sumbawa tribe. Dance arts and traditional tools are elements of the Sumbawa tribal culture. Apart from dance and traditional instruments, the Sumbawa tribe has unique arts, which we generally know as fairy tales (Sakeco), accompanied by the conventional Rebana musical instrument. The culture of the Sumbawa tribe is preserved by building an art studio as a place for its preservation. Sumbawa Regency, especially in Alas District, has a studio called Kemban Alas Art Studio. We can see cultural preservation using modern technology through social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. However, there is still very little preservation through social media regarding Sumbawa culture, such as the content in the press itself due to the influence of new cultures, which has caused the culture of various tribes, especially the Sumbawa tribe, to be little known by most people. The method used in this research is developing the Waterfall model of LifeL Cycle (SDLC) Software and qualitative data collection. This research aims to build an Android-based Augmented Reality application at the Kemban Alas Art Studio and assist the Art Studio in educating Sumbawa tribal culture using the Augmented Reality application. The result of this research is that researchers have completed the design and development of an application that uses Android-based Aulgmelnteld Reality technology as a medium for introducing the traditional music tool Sulkul Sulmbawa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh media sosial marketing, direct marketing, dan advertising terhadap keputusan mahasiswa baru dalam memilih kuliah di Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa (UTS). Strategi pemasaran perguruan tinggi menjadi sangat penting dalam era digital saat ini, di mana mahasiswa sebagai konsumen potensial lebih terpapar pada berbagai saluran informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa baru Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media sosial marketing, direct marketing, dan advertising berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa baru dalam memilih UTS sebagai tempat melanjutkan pendidikan tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pemasaran yang tepat melalui media sosial, komunikasi langsung, dan iklan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas promosi institusi pendidikan tinggi, khususnya dalam menarik minat calon mahasiswa. Abstract

Dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pengajaran, seorang pendidik dituntut agar dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik dan pendidik sendiri merasa nyaman dalam menjalankan pengajaran guna mewujudkan tujuan pembelajaran dengan baik. Salah satu jenis media pembelajaran adalah video pembelajaran yang dibuat menggunakan Canva yang dapat diakses oleh guru menggunakan email belajar.id sehingga semua fiture dapat diakses secara gratis. Berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan pada SDN Kokarpit dan SDN Lekong guru masih kesulitan membuat video pembelajaran dan belum mengenal Canva. Oleh karena itu, adanya permintaan kerjasama antara Fakultas Rekayasa Sistem Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa dengan kedua SDN tersebut dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa pendampingan pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Canva. Peserta dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 16 guru dari SDN Kokarpit dan SDN Lekong dan terdiri dari 7 dosen pendamping. Pendampingan dalam pembuatan video media pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan ceramah, demonstrasi serta adanya latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Kegiatan pendampingan dievaluasi menggunakan model evaluasi Kirkpatrick dengan indikator reaction, learning, behaviour dan result, hasil evaluasi menunjukkan skor 89,71% yang menunjukkan peserta sangat puas dengan kegiatan pelatihan. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil pre test dan post test menujukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman pemahaman peserta membuat video media pembelajaran serta adanya peningkatan jumlah video media pembelajaran peserta setelah sebulan mengikuti pelatihan

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Desa (SID) awalnya bernama SIDESA, adalah aplikasi berbasis Open Source (Open Sid 1811) dirancang untuk mendukung pemerintahan desa dalam pengelolaan dan dokumentasi data desa. Keterhubungan aplikasi ini dengan data demografis yang disimpan oleh Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil, termasuk Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) dan Nomor Kepala Keluarga (KK), sangat baik dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan publik. Menyikapi keterbatasan penerapan teknologi di desa dan kelurahan saat ini, banyak lokasi masih mengandalkan prosedur manual yang membebani masyarakat dalam mengakses layanan. Sebagai solusi, metode pengabdian masyarakat seperti Open Sid atau Meraja Sev diadopsi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik di desa dan kelurahan. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan SID dan kontribusi mereka dalam pembaruan data dan pengawasan sistem memainkan peran penting dalam penguatan tata kelola publik dan pembuatan keputusan yang inklusif. Di era digital saat ini, internet menjadi prasyarat dalam menyediakan pelayanan publik. Namun, di Desa Tatede, sistem manual masih mendominasi, menyebabkan tantangan terkait akses informasi tentang potensi sumber daya desa dan data asset yang belum dipublikasikan. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, kami akan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang Sistem Informasi Desa berbasis web, yang memudahkan aparatur desa dalam pendataan dan penyebaran informasi desa.
