Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Manajemen Isu dalam Mempertahankan Citra Perusahaan (Studi Kasus Isu Pantai Publik Ancol). Isu pantai publik merupakan isu yang popular karena tidak pernah berhenti menerpa Ancol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen isu pantai publik Ancol yang dilakukan PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol (PJA) dalam mempertahankan citra perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yakni model analisis data interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Model manajemen isu yang dilakukan oleh Ancol memiliki kesamaan dengan model manajemen isu sumber Regester&Larkin, hanya saja peneliti menemukan satu tahapan baru dalam menyelesaikan isu pantai publik Ancol, yakni komunikasi. Jika diurutkan maka tahapan awal dimulai dari identifikasi isu, analisis isu, komunikasi, adaptive change strategy, program perubahan isu, dan terakhir evaluasi. Hasil kebijakan yang dilakukan dapat meredam isu dan program gratis masuk Ancol bagi pengguna KJP cukup efektif yang mana ribuan pengunjung telah memanfaatkan kesempatan masuk Ancol gratis dengan menggunakan KJP, sehingga hal ini dapat mempertahankan citra positif Ancol bagi kalangan publik.

Abstract

Honda DBL has been held for 15 years in 30 cities in 22 provinces throughout Indonesia, including DKI Jakarta. In the implementation of the DKI Jakarta DKI DBL Series 2019, there was an increase of 30% participant participation and 77,229 viewers. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of PT DBL Indonesia's marketing communication strategy which was carried out at the DKI Jakarta Series Honda Developmental Basketball League (DBL) event. The researcher uses the concept of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) by Don Schultz as a tool to analyze the marketing communication strategies that are applied. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods to analyze and illustrate marketing communication strategies implemented by PT DBL Indonesia. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that an effective marketing communication strategy was implemented by PT DBL Indonesia, namely publications and public relations and word of mouth. This marketing communication strategy was applied at the Jakarta DBL Honda Series event. The published content will be discussed and form word of mouth among the public so that this event will be more widely known and participation will continue to increase again in the following years.

Abstract

With its disruptive development as the biggest social media worldwide, TikTok poses numerous threats to the society. With 99 million users in Indonesia, TikTok has potential to propagate hate speech on its platform. Having rich history of antisemitism in Indonesia, researcher seek to identify whether TikTok propagate antisemitism in Indonesia. In order to conduct the research, quantitative methods are utilized. This research focused on antisemitism on TikTok in Indonesia, which can be perceived as cyberbullying and online hate speech, and aimed to explain how TikTok used in Indonesia, forms of antisemitism on TikTok in Indonesia (if any), and how antisemitism proliferate through TikTok. Hence, the research would attempt to verify whether TikTok propagate antisemitism in Indonesia. In order to analyze and get a better view of the theme, researcher will discuss the rise of TikTok and the phenomena of Antisemitism in Indonesia in the next sections. With 400 samples, it is found that TikTok is having a great screen time (more than 60 minutes per day) and enjoyed by most of their users in Indonesia and it is indicated that TikTok able to convey political messages/social campaign efficiently in Indonesia. This research concludes that TikTok does propagate antisemitism in Indonesia, despite its sprawling are limited.

Abstract

Given the rapid development of gadgets in the digital era, they have become a double-edged sword, offering both positive and negative impacts. Children, as frequent users, often use gadgets mainly for playing games and searching for information on the internet, without understanding the risks, including exposure to harmful content like pornography. This community service program aims to educate parents at PAUD Srikandi on how to guide their children in using the internet wisely, helping them become more aware of negative content.Effective communication with children before giving them gadgets involves three key points: (1) Discuss the needs: Talk about why the child wants a gadget and access to the internet, and whether it’s necessary. (2) Discuss responsibilities: Ensure children understand that parents have the right to monitor how the gadget is used and check its content. Set clear consequences if the gadget or internet is misused. (3) Discuss the risks: Encourage children to talk to their parents about anything that makes them uncomfortable while using the gadget or internet.

Abstract

Penerapan green economy Green Economy bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan konsep 3R (reduse, reuse, recycle). Melalui kosnep 3 R ini dapat menjadikan Kota Bengkulu merdeka sampah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk mendukung program pemrinta kota Bengkulu untuk mewujudkan kota Bengkulu merdeka sampah. Akan tetapi permasalahan yang ada saat ini adlah rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat untuk melakukan pemilahan, pemilihan dan pengolahan sampah Rumah Tangga. Sampah bersumber dari Rumah Tangga dan Industri, maka langkah pertama untuk mebgurangi sampaj ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat dan indusktri agar tidak membawa sampah ke TPA. Selain itu pengolahan sampah dapat juga meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi keluaraga, misalnya pengolahan sampah basah menjadi pupuk organik yang dapat digunakan untuk pupuk tanaman Rumah tangga dan pengolahan sampah plastik untuk dijadikan kerajinan seperti keranjang, tempat tissu dan lain sebaginya. Berdasarkan pengamatan dan wawancara dengan unsur masyarakat bahwa sumber sampah plastik berasalh dari RT. Pengurangan sampah plastik juga menjadi acuan SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) mengubah sampah yang ada di Bengkulu menjadi sesuatu yang bernilai. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Swah Lebar Kota Bengkulu. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Dalam kegiatan ini menghasilkan efek ganda, yaitu dapat memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat juga dapat menghentikan pencemaran lingkungan akibat limbah yang tidak tertangani dengan baik. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi terkait pemanfaatan sampah baik bersifat organik maupun anorganik. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga bekerjasama dengan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kota Bengkulu, yang memiliki misi menjadikan Kota Bengkulu menjadi kota merdeka sampah.

Abstract

Every human being has hope in his life. they have a positive will, and can continue to be with the people they care about. This description of hope can be expressed in various ways, one of which is through a music video. One of the musicians who often brings up the theme of hope is BTS, they are considered to always be able to describe the life of teenagers in general, including the matter of hope and longing in life. One of their best works with the theme of hope is the Spring Day, which is predicted to tell about the Sewol Ferry incident that occurred in 2014. This song is an extraordinary achievement for BTS. From the beautiful song lyrics and music video cinematography, the writer finds several representations of hope by using Roland Barthes' Semiotics study.Keywords: BTS, hope, music video, semiotic, Spring Day

Abstract

ound: Public speaking encompasses addressing a large crowd and articulating a message with clarity, persuasiveness, and the ability to sway the audience. Public speaking enables individuals to conquer phobias, enhance communication skills, and cultivate self-confidence. Method: This Community Service employs the working premise of the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, with 20 participants from the first batch of Graphic Design class in 2023 from PPKD West Jakarta. Results: PKM must consistently consider three dimensions simultaneously: the satisfaction of practical demands and issue resolution, the advancement of knowledge and community diversity, and the dynamics of social diversity transformation. The purpose of evaluation in this activity is to ensure it is guided effectively and meets the anticipated objectives of all stakeholders. The initial session focused on the Fundamentals of Public Speaking, while the subsequent session concentrated on Enhancing Character Through Activities that Develop Public Speaking Skills, accompanied by examples. The subsequent session involved a brief review of the material presented to assess any changes in participants' abilities, particularly in public speaking skills. An evaluation of 20 participants indicated a notable enhancement in their public speaking proficiency and self-confidence. Conclusion: Public speaking enhances self-confidence, critical thinking abilities, empathy, and social skills in individuals. Consequently, this skill is valuable not only in academic or professional settings but also in daily life.

Abstract

Fenomena merek sepatu Ardiles yang berkolaborasi dengan DBL Indonesia menghasilkan produk sepatu AZA 6 edisi Hari Merdeka yang diluncurkan tanggal 12 Agustus 2019 dan berhasil terjual habis hanya dalam empat hari setelah tanggal perilisannya menjadi hal yang menarik untuk diteliti. Karena melihat pasar sepatu Indonesia di tahun 2018 khususnya sepatu olaraga, brand sepatu internasional masih unggul jauh Nike memimpin dengan 30%, sementara Ardiles berada di urutan kelima dengan 3,7%. Namun ditengah gempuran brand asing, Ardiles berhasil menarik banyak konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian produk baru mereka. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis pada perilaku konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan pembelian Sepatu AZA 6 edisi Hari Merdeka. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa wawancara mendalam dengan informan yang berasal dari konsumen sepatu AZA 6 edisi Hari Merdeka langsung, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian, perilaku konsumen dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor yang dapat memberikan konsumen kepuasan, seperti keterbatasan produk yang menjadikannya eksklusif, keunikan konsep dan desain produk, kualitas produk, hingga harga yang ditawarkan.

Abstract

In many studies, social media use related to political information impacts political participation. However, only some have seen how different levels of social media use affect online political participation. This study aims to see how different levels of social media use affect online political participation by using the theory of source credibility. This study was conducted using a survey method by distributing questionnaires through social media networks. The population is Jakarta residents. Using purposive sampling, we obtained a sample of 500 respondents. Results showed that in the low category, apart from gender and education, the use of social media also impacts online political participation. In the medium category, besides the use of social media, gender, education, age, and political trust affect online political participation. In the high category, what influences online political participation are the use of social media, political trust, and social media credibility. The source credibility theory is confirmed only among high users.

Abstract

Women must grasp the idea of domestic abuse in order to anticipate if they spot incidents of it.  The purpose of the study was to evaluate the relationship between perceptions of domestic violence and online community engagement on social media. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires through social media. The population were women social media users and used purposive sampling techniques with the criteria that respondents were married or had been married, had been victims of domestic violence (physical or mental), and had accessed domestic violence issues on social media in the last six months. Data collection was carried out in July-August 2024. The data was obtained from 300 women and analyzed using the SPSS 25 application. The results show that there is a significant correlation between perceptions of domestic violence and online community engagement in the community of domestic violence victims on social media. However, the strength of the relationship is low. Further analysis shows that the differences in respondents' community engagement levels were divided into three perception ownership groups. The findings suggest that women victims of domestic violence might join groups on social media to receive direction and counsel meant to assist with their issues.
