Abstract

Critical patients need intensive care and supervision by the medical team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including ventilators, monitors, Central Venous Pressure (CVP), Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiogram (ECHO), medical supply, and medical information that is fast, precise, and accurate. In the ICU treatment room requires data that needs to be processed and analyzed for decision making. This study analyzed the ventilator, CVP and also Sepsis Diagnosis related to the data of moving patients and patients dying. This study also uses the decision tree algorithm C.45 and Naive Bayes to determine the level of accuracy of patient care and supervision information in the ICU. The results showed that the decision tree algorithm C.45 has an accuracy of 81.55% and Naive Bayes of 81.54%. The decision tree C.45 algorithm has almost the same advantages as the Naive Bayes algorithm.

Abstract

The research aims to investigate the effect of the cooling medium on the hardness characteristic and microstructure of the 42CrMo4 steel due to hardening treatment at a temperature of 830°C and holding time of 30 minutes. Various oil such as SAE-10W40, SAE-20W50, SAE-40, and used oil was used in the cooling medium. The changes in product size, hardness, and microstructure have been carefully assessed. The results indicated that the viscosity of the coolant medium strongly influenced the cooling rate of the cooling medium, hardness, and microstructure. SAE-10W40 oil and SAE-20W50 oil only needed 2 hours to return within room temperatures before quenching, whereas SAE-40 oil and used oil took 3 hours. The sample size did not change after hardening-quenching. However, there was a residual carbon layer on the sample surfaces. Quenching caused the changes of microstructure from pearlite and ferrite to ultrafine double phase, consisting of martensite and austenite, which were unable to transform during rapid cooling. The highest hardness value was achieved by the treated product, which was quenched in SAE-10W40, which had 54.59 HRC. The high hardness was attributed to the content of 95% martensite. However, used-oil caused in similar hardness as SAE-20W50.

Abstract

Aluminum is a chemical element with the symbol Al with atomic number 13. Aluminum belongs to the light types of metals. Its electrical conductivity is 60% more than that of copper, so it is also used for electrical appliances. Aluminum is a reactive metal, so it is easily oxidized with oxygen. Aluminum is lightweight, strong, rust-resistant and malleable, aluminum is also utilized in many ways, such as materials for making fuselages, used in high-voltage cables and much more. This study aims to find out how temperature aging affects vickers hardness, impact toughness and corrosion in aluminum alloys. The aluminum used is 6000 series aluminum and is cut into workpieces according to ASTM standards. The applied method is by heat treatment precipitation hardening or age hardening. From the results of microstructure photo testing, it was found that the higher the aging temperature, the more amount of precipitation is formed and the distribution of precipitation is more even. However, when the heat treatment solution is performed, the precipitation decreases because at the same time the atomic void in thermal equilibrium at high temperature remains in place or a precipitate or so-called super saturated solute solution occurs. In hardness testing, the hardness continues to increase as the aging temperature increases and the maximum hardness is found at a temperature of 200oC with an average value of 86.6 kg/mm2. Meanwhile, the impact strength decreases with the increase in aging temperature and the highest impact strength at 120o C with a value of 0.619 j/mm2. In the corrosion test, as the temperature of aging increases, the aluminum is more resistant to corrosion the maximum value is obtained at 0.00251 mill/year at a temperature of 200o C.

Abstract

Background: Pemasangan panel surya di PAUD "Anyelir" II memberikan dampak langsung dalam peningkatan kualitas pendidikan dan upaya mengurangi biaya penggunaan energi listrik yang berlebihan serta mendukung program pemerintah untuk meningkatkan penggunaan energi terbarukan. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada energi fosil dan mendukung gerakan lingkungan ramah anak. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode, yaitu: 1).  Tahapan Kunjungan Lokasi, 2).  Tahapan Sosialisais, 3). Tahapan Pemasangan dan Instalasi, 4) Tahapan Pelatihan, 5) Tahapan Pemeliharaan. Hasil: Sebulan setelah pemasangan panel surya terlihat peningkatan efisiensi energi sebesar 30% dari bulan sebelumnya serta dukungan positif dari masyarakat terhadap kegiatan ini. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan PKM ini memberikan solusi untuk penerapan panel surya di lembaga pendidikan lainnya sebagai langkah konkret menuju masa depan yang lebih hijau dan ramah anak.

Abstract

Tujuan yang tersirat dalam desentralisasi pemerintahan daerah adalah kemandirian daerah untuk menjalankan pembangunan dalam beragam aspek. Hal ini sejalan dengan hakekat desentralisasi, yaitu penyerahan wewenang pemerintahan oleh Pemerintah Pusat kepada Daerah Otonom untuk mengatur dan mengurus urusan pemerintahan dalam ruang lingkup wilayahnya sendiri. Manajemen Pola baru manajemen pemerintahan tersebut memberikan ruang bagi keterlibatan masyarakat lokal (daerah) secara luas dan pengambilan keputusan yang dibuat oleh Pemerintah Derah dalam memberikan pelayanan publik yang kompetitif dan berkualitas kepada masyarakat menjadi lebih “membumi”. Dalam konteks desentralisasi pemerintahan tersebut, desentralisasi pendidikan mengandung upaya mendekatkan pengambilan keputusan pada kebutuhan stakeholders, sehingga di satu sisi pembangunan pendidikan lebih sesuai dengan kekhasan daerah, di sisi lain potensi masyarakat dapat lebih didayagunakan. Pada akhirnya desentralisasi pendidikan ini diharapkan akan meningkatkan mutu dan keunggulan sumberdaya manusia.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan anak-anak pada usia dini, dengan dampak jangka panjang yang signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup dan produktivitas masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat tentang stunting menjadi esensial dalam upaya pencegahan dan pengendaliannya. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari workshop edukasi berjudul "Cegah Stunting, Langka Sehat Generasi Kuat" terhadap peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat tentang stunting di Desa Mekar Nangka. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra dan pasca workshop pada populasi masyarakat Desa Mekar Nangka. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan setelah workshop, serta tanggapan peserta terhadap materi dan penyajian workshop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa workshop edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang stunting. Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam pengetahuan peserta setelah mengikuti workshop, dengan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebesar 30%. Selain itu, tanggapan peserta terhadap workshop secara umum sangat positif, dengan sebagian besar peserta merasa bahwa materi yang disampaikan bermanfaat dan mudah dipahami. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa workshop edukasi "Cegah Stunting, Langka Sehat Generasi Kuat" memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang stunting di Desa Mekar Nangka. Upaya berkelanjutan dalam menyediakan pendidikan dan informasi yang relevan kepada masyarakat perlu ditingkatkan guna mengurangi angka stunting dan dampak buruknya pada generasi mendatang. Hasil studi ini dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan program-program serupa di berbagai komunitas untuk mengatasi tantangan stunting secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

The development of culinary business in Indonesia is progressing from time to time. This was helped by the development of increasingly rapid technology. Non-formal business actors also develop, especially mobile food vendors. The author wants to create an application that can improve the competitiveness of mobile food vendors by providing information that is easily obtained by the public to find out information and locations of mobile food vendors that can be accessed via mobile devices connected to the internet. This research offers an android application that can track the presence of traders in realtime making it easier for users to find food vendors around them using the Location Based Service (LBS) method using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. In addition, this application also uses Google Maps API technology for map and Firebase needs for database needs.

Abstract

Security at strategic military installations is fundamental to a nation’s defense. Security systems at facilities like Radar Unit 232 still depend on manual surveillance, which has limited efficiency and accuracy for vehicle identification. This research aims to develop an automated gate system based on license plate recognition using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to improve security and operational efficiency. The study used a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a waterfall model, covering requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The system integrates a webcam, YOLOv8 for license plate detection, OCR for character extraction and an Arduino Nano as the gate controller. Testing was conducted using 1500 images of official vehicles from Radar Unit 232 in various lighting and angle conditions. The results showed a 93% license plate detection accuracy and an 84.9% OCR accuracy, leading to an overall integrated system success rate of 92.9%. The system’s response time is under 5 seconds with 98.3% reliability in normal operations. This system successfully reduce dependence on manual guards and enhances the efficiency of vehicle verification, contributing a computer vision-based security with adequate accuracy and speed for military implementation.

Abstract

Controlling temperature and humidity is a critical aspect of layer chicken management, as uncontrolled environmental fluctuations can increase stress levels, reduce comfort, and negatively affect productivity. In practice, most farmers still rely on manual monitoring methods, which are unable to respond quickly to rapidly changing conditions. This study aims to develop and evaluate a prototype Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring and controlling system for regulating temperature and humidity in layer chicken cages using a NodeMCU ESP8266, a DHT22 sensor, and the Home Assistant platform for real-time monitoring and automated actuator control. Experimental testing was conducted in both open and closed environments to assess sensor accuracy and system effectiveness. Data were collected at 5-minute intervals. The results show that the DHT22 sensor demonstrates low error rates, with temperature errors ranging from 0–2.00% in closed environments and 0.32–0.64% in open environments, while humidity errors range from 0.26–1.17%. The automated control system effectively maintained cage temperature near the ideal range (±32°C), increasing temperature by 2.6–4.3°C under cooler conditions and decreasing temperature by 1.8°C during hotter periods. For humidity control, the system increased humidity levels by 1–3% as required These findings indicate that the developed IoT-based system provides fast response, stable performance, and high accuracy in maintaining environmental conditions within the optimal range for layer chickens, offering a more efficient solution compared with conventional methods. This study contributes a novel application of Home Assistant as a centralized control platform, which remains rarely explored in similar research.
