Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh arus pengelasan terhadap kekuatan tarik, ketangguhan, kekerasan dan struktur mikro las SMAW dengan elektroda E7016 pada baja paduan rendah Baja SA 516 GR.70. Pengelasan dilakukan dengan variasi arus 100 Amper, 130 Amper dan 160 Amper dengan menggunakan las SMAW DC polaritas terbalik dengan elektroda E7016 diameter 3,2 mm. DC polaritas terbalik yaitu pemegang elektroda dihubungkan dengan kutub positif dan logam induk dihubungkan dengan kutub negatif. Jenis kampuh yang digunakan adalah kampuh V dengan sudut 700. Pada penelitian ini tegangan yang digunakan 24 volt dan kecepatan pengelasan 80-220 mm/menit. Ketangguhan daerah las diuji dengan uji impak metode Charpy dan pengujian kekerasan dilakukan dengan metode micro vickers, uji tarik dilakukan menggunakan servo pulser sedangkan pengamatan struktur mikro menggunakan mikroskop optik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai ketangguhan dan kekuatan tarik las optimum dicapai pada logam las dengan kuat arus 100 Ampere yaitu masing-masing yaitu 74 J dan 550 MPa. Mikrostuktur pada daerah las didominasi oleh struktur acicular ferrite

Abstract

Waste is a by-product of all activities carried out while on campus, both in the form of organic and non-organic waste. High volume waste can be a problem for the environment so it needs to be managed properly. The purpose of this mentoring activity is to equip the cleaning staff so that waste in the University of Muhammadiyah Mataram (UMMAT) can be managed into organic fertilizer and ecobricks. There are three methods of mentoring, namely socialization, training, and evaluation. The socialization was carried out to provide an overview to participants regarding waste processing technology. Meanwhile, the training is to prove that the theoretical ability of partners from socialization can be applied to training and evaluation is carried out to see the level of success of mentoring activities. After the mentoring activities were carried out, it was proven that the knowledge of partners had increased and the waste within the Muhammadiyah University of Mataram was able to be managed slowly in the manufacture of organic fertilizers and echobrick.

Abstract

Several methods for preserving food, particularly fresh fruit, aim to extend shelf life without compromising nutritional value. Food preservation technology utilizing irradiation techniques ensures food safety and stability by eliminating microbes and microorganisms while preserving nutrients. This study investigates the food preservation process using gamma irradiation, analyzes the physical changes in irradiated food over time, and examines the effects of varying gamma irradiation doses on the weight loss and shelf life of fresh-cut watermelon. The research method involves gamma irradiation at doses of 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 kGy. Findings indicate that gamma irradiation at these doses affects the weight loss of fresh-cut watermelon. The highest weight loss, approximately 87.36%, was observed at a dose of 3 kGy, indicating significant cellular and membrane damage. Furthermore, high-dose irradiation leads to nutrient degradation and accelerates water loss, resulting in physical changes in fresh-cut watermelon, such as increased softness, wateriness, and odor.Keywords: Food irradiation, Food preservation, Watermelon.

Abstract

Water quality management is the main factor in rearing vannamei shrimp cultivation. Quality shrimp is produced from optimal water quality management. PT. Anugerah Nusantara Kraksaan is a company that operates in the field of rearing vannamei shrimp. So this research aims to determine the application of water quality management in rearing vannamei shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) at PT. Anugerah Nusantara Kraksaan, East Java Province. The research was carried out for 1 month from January to February 2025 starting from DOC 68 until DOC 96. This research was carried out on Plots G3, Plots G5, and Plots H4 with concrete construction. The fry used in the research were from PLB (Prima Larvae Bali) on Postlarva 10. Data taken on these water quality parameters were Brightness, Temperature, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Salinity, Amonnium, Phospat, Alkalinity, and TOM. To overcome fluctuations in environmental parameters, it is necessary to change water, filter, and administer probiotics periodically until the total harvest is achieved. It can be concluded that the results of the best water quality management is in plot G3, because plot G3 can last longer, but plots H4 is the most stable for its water quality even though it ends up being affected by Infectious Myonecrosis disease.

Abstract

Lung cancer is a malignant disease that occurs in the lung, either originating from the lung tissue itself (primary) or originating from other organs and spreading to the lung (metastasis). Based on data from the Global Burden of Cancer (Globocan) in 2022, there were 2.4 million cases of lung cancer in the world and resulted in 1.8 million deaths. In Indonesia, data from the Global Cancer Observatory in 2022 showed there were 38,904 lung cancer cases and 34,339 deaths due to this disease. The number of lung cancer cases in Indonesia continues to increase, especially in the West Sumatra region. In Dr. M. Djamil Hospital, from 2021 to 2024, there were 884 cases of lung cancer. The purpose of this case study is to apply nursing care to lung cancer patients admitted to the Lung Inpatient Room of Dr. M. Djamil Padang Hospital in 2025. The results of the assessment of patient Mrs. P showed four nursing problems, namely: ineffective airway clearance, acute pain, nutritional deficits, and activity intolerance. The evaluation showed that some diagnoses were partially resolved, such as tightness and pain that began to decrease, and a body that was no longer weak even though it was still limited in activity. The nursing problem of nutritional deficit is resolved by improving the patient's appetite. After providing nursing care, patients and their families will have knowledge about the causes, signs, symptoms, and complications of lung cancer to improve quality of life and early awareness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemilikan kendaraan mahasiswa kelas A dan C pada Program Studi Sistem Informasi. Meningkatnya jumlah mahasiswa setiap tahun telah menyebabkan peningkatan jumlah kendaraan pribadi di kampus, sehingga menyebabkan kemacetan parkir dan keterbatasan ruang parkir. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis statik dan matematis untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik parkir, termasuk akumulasi, volume, durasi, dan kapasitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kebutuhan yang signifikan akan ruang parkir tambahan untuk mengakomodasi jumlah kendaraan yang terus meningkat. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan sistem manajemen parkir yang mempertimbangkan kebutuhan parkir yang diperkirakan dan memodelkan ruang parkir sesuai dengan usia rencana. Temuan penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan sistem manajemen parkir yang efektif yang memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa dan staf pada Program Studi Sistem Informasi.
