Abstract

Gagal ginjal kronik (GGK) merupakan gangguan fungsi ginjal yg progresif serta tidak dapat pulih kembali dimana tubuh tidak mampu memelihara metabolisme serta gagal memelihara keseimbangan cairan serta elektrolit yg membuahkan di peningkatan ureum. Gagal ginjal kronik mempunyai karakteristik bersifat menetap tidak mampu disembuhkan serta memerlukan pengobatan seperti, transplantasi ginjal, hemosialisis serta pula rawat jalan pada jangka saat yg usang. Hemodialisa artinya terapi yg dilakukan buat membarui fungsi ginjal menggunakan menggunakan suatu indera yg didesain spesifik bertujuan buat mengobati gejala serta tanda dampak LFG menggunakan kadar rendah, sasaran dilakukannya terapi ini ialah buat menambah jangka waktu hayati penderita gagal ginjal kronik dan dapat menaikkan kualitas hidup penderita. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kepatuhan penderita gagal ginjal kronik dalam menjalani hemodialisa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian naratif kualitatif, partisipan yg dipergunakan sebanyak 6 orang menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrument yang dipergunakan artinya wawancara semi terstruktur. Maka bisa disimpulkan peningkatakan kepatuhan penderita gagal ginjal kronik yg menjalani hemodialisa 6 orang partisipan patuh dan 1 orang partisipan tidak patuh pada menjalani hemodialisa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the intensity of pain in postoperative wound care using distraction and relaxation techniques at Imelda Workers' Hospital in Medan 2018. This type of research was quantitative research and the research design used was quasi-experimental before and after treatment and the therapy given was distraction therapy and relaxation therapy. The study was carried out in the postoperative inpatient ward of Imelda Indonesian Workers Hospital Medan from June to August 2018. The results of this study were: 1. The average pain intensity before distraction techniques was moderate (NRS 5.11) while the average intensity of pain before relaxation techniques was in moderate pain (NRS 5.38). 2. The average pain intensity after the distraction technique was on the moderate pain scale but decreased in scale (NRS 3.11) while the average pain intensity after the relaxation technique was on moderate pain but the scale decreased (NRS 4.192). 3. There are differences in the effectiveness of distraction and relaxation techniques on changes in pain intensity of postoperative patients at the Indonesian Migrant Worker General Hospital Imelda Medan in 2018 (p-value 0.001).Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui intensitas nyeri dalam perawatan luka pasca operasi dengan menggunakan tehnik distraksi dan relaksasi di RSU Imelda Pekerja Indonesia Medan 2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu sebelum dan sesudah perawatan dan Terapi yang diberikan adalah terapi distraksi dan terapi relaksasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di ruang rawat inap pasca operasi Rumah Sakit Imelda Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Medan pada bulan Juni sampai Agustus 2018. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1. Rata-rata intensitas nyeri sebelum dilakukan teknik distraksi pada nyeri sedang (NRS 5.11) sedangkan rata-rata intensitas nyeri sebelum teknik relaksasi berada pada nyeri sedang (NRS 5,38). 2. Rata-rata intensitas nyeri setelah teknik distraksi berada pada skala nyeri sedang tetapi mengalami penurunan skala (NRS 3.11) sedangkan rata-rata intensitas nyeri setelah teknik relaksasi berada pada nyeri sedang tetapi skalanya mengalami penurunan (NRS 4.192). 3. Terdapat perbedaan efektivitas teknik distraksi dan relaksasi terhadap perubahan intensitas nyeri pasien post operasi di Rumah Sakit Umum Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Imelda Medan Tahun 2018 (p value 0,001)

Abstract

Penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan penyakit menular yang di sebabkan oleh Virus Dengue dan ditularkan melalui gigitan nyamuk Aedes Aegypti. Beberapa faktor yang diduga yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor perilaku dalam bentuk domain perilaku yaitu pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik dalam pelaksanaan pencegahan pada ibu–ibu rumah tangga beserta keluarganya, serta faktor pendukungnya adalah faktor ekonomi, sosial budaya, dan pendidikan, serta faktor lingkungan yang mendasari terjadinya Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Metode yang digunakan deskriptif observasional dengan 30 peserta yang merupakan masyarakat Desa Kolam Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Tim PkM memberikan materi yang dimaksud 1) Pengertian penyakit demam berdarah, 2) Penyebab penyakit demam berdarah 3) Tanda dan gejala penyakit demam berdarah, 4) Komplikasi penyakit demam berdarah, dan 5) Pencegahan penyakit demam berdarah. Dari hasil evaluasi diperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta atau partisipan tentang 1) Pengertian penyakit demam berdarah (DBD) mayoritas buruk sebanyak 28 orang, 2) Penyebab penyakit demam berdarah (DBD) mayoritas buruk sebanyak 28 orang, 3) Tanda dan gejala penyakit demam berdarah (DBD) mayoritas buruk sebanyak 28 orang, 4) Komplikasi penyakit demam berdarah (DBD) mayoritas seluruh peserta belum mengetahui sebanyak 30 orang dan 5) pencegahan penyakit demam berdarah (DBD) yang benar seluruh peserta belum mampu sebanyak 30 orang sedangkan setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan: 1) Pengertian DBD mayoritas baik sebanyak 28 orang, 2) Penyebab DBD mayoritas baik sebanyak 26 orang, 3) Tanda dan gejala DBD mayoritas baik sebanyak 28 orang, 4) Komplikasi DBD mayoritas baik sebanyak 18 orang, dan 5) Pencegahan DBD yang benar seluruh peserta sudah mampu sebanyak 26 orang. Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dikarenakan masyarakat punya keinginan besar untuk mencegah terjadinya demam berdarah (DBD) dan merawat penderita DBD dirumah. Pengetahuan merupakan domain penting dan faktor awal seseorang untuk berperilaku. Pengetahuan membentuk keyakinan peserta sehingga dapat memahami tentang penyakit demam berdarah dengan tepat.

Abstract

Penyakit hipertensi merupakan penyakit dengan jumlah besar, morbiditas dan mortalitas tinggi serta biaya besar sehingga sangat penting dalam pencegahan dan penatalaksanaan hipertensi termasuk komplikasinya. Hipertensi merupakan peningkatan tekanan darah berupa sistolik ? 140 mmHg dan diastolik ? 90 mmHg. Penatalaksanaan hipertensi dengan modifikasi gaya hidup sangat penting untuk mengontrol tekanan darah. Salah satu modifikasi gaya hidup untuk manajemen hipertensi yang dapat mengontrol tekanan darah yaitu dengan aktivitas fisik. Aktivitas fisik dapat berupa berjalan kaki atau jalan sehat. Upaya pencegahan dan pengendalian penyakit hipertensi adalah perilaku preventif dan gaya hidup sehat melalui pendidikan kesehatan kepada masyarakat tentang penyakit hipertensi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengaruh penyuluhan penyakit hipertensi dan latihan jalan sehat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kontrol tekanan darah. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Kolam Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan pada bulan Oktober – Desember 2023 dengan metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi: observasi, ceramah tanya jawab, dan pelatihan dengan 22 partisipan. Hasil evaluasi didapatkan peningkatan nilai pengetahuan dengan mayoritas baik setelah dilakukan pengabdian dan penurunan tekanan darah sistolik dengan mayoritas tekanan darah sistolik 120 – 139 mmHg. Pemberian pendidikan kesehatan tentang penyakit hipertensi dan pelatihan jalan sehat pada kelompok atau masyarakat untuk mencegah dan mengendalikan penyakit hipertensi agar mencapai derajat kesehatan yang sempurna, baik fisik, mental, dan sosial di masyarakat.

Abstract

Critical patients are patients who experience critical pain due to physiological, psychosocial, developmental, and spiritual changes. Patients who suffer from critical illness will experience hospitalization that requires the role of the family as a family support system. The role of the family in dealing with critical patients can have physical impacts, such as fatigue, sleep disturbances, and health problems. Psychological impacts such as anxiety, fear, sadness and depression and social impacts in the form of reduced communication and social isolation. The purpose of this study is to find out the patient's family experience while accompanying the patient in the ICU room of the Imelda  Pekerja Indonesia General Hospital. This study uses a qualitative type of research with a phenomenological approach. The sample in this study consisted of 6 participants with nuclear family inclusion criteria, over 18 years old who had waited for more than 3 days in the ICU Room. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews. The results of this study obtained 4 themes that describe this family experience, namely fear of not being able to see patients again, pity to see patients with many tools, abandoning the routine of seeing patients, and relying on God. Further research suggestions should provide interventions related to the impact that arises when families face critical patients.

Abstract

TB is one of the 10 causes of death and the primary cause of infectious agents in the world. The prevalence of tuberculosis patients in 2020 amounted to 929 patients. Some of the influencing factors are behavioral factors, namely knowledge, attitude and behavior in the implementation of routine medication compliance. The method used was observational descriptive with 30 participants who were residents of Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. The PkM team provided the material in question: 1) Definition of tuberculosis disease, 2) Causes of tuberculosis disease, 3) Signs and symptoms of tuberculosis disease, 4) Complications of tuberculosis disease, and 5) Prevention of tuberculosis disease. After the implementation of the activity: 1) The majority of the understanding of tuberculosis (TB) is good as many as 25 people, 2) The causes of tuberculosis (TB) are mostly good as many as 27 people, 3) The signs and symptoms of tuberculosis (TB) are mostly good as many as 26 people, 4) The majority of tuberculosis (TB) complications are good as many as 27 people, and 5) Prevention of correct transmission of tuberculosis (TB) all participants have been able to as many as 27 people. The increase in knowledge and skills of participants is because the community has a great desire to treat and prevent dengue fever in family members at home.

Abstract

Some of the influencing factors are behavioral factors, namely knowledge, attitude and behavior in the implementation of routine medication compliance. The method used was observational descriptive with 25 participants who were patients at Imelda Workers' Hospital in Medan. The PkM team provided the material in question: 1) Definition of tuberculosis disease, 2) health education about dietary fulfillment 3) how to regulate the diet of tuberculosis sufferers, 4) increasing knowledge and skills. After the implementation of the activity: 1) Definition of tuberculosis (TB) for the majority of good as many as 25 people, 2) health education about the fulfillment of the good majority diet for 20 people, 3) how to manage the diet of the majority of people with tuberculosis as many as 16 people, 4) improvement of knowledge of tuberculosis treatment for the majority of good as many as 21 people. The increase in knowledge and skills of participants is because the community has a great desire to treat and prevent dengue fever in family members at home.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is still a global and national public health problem. According to a 2014 WHO report, at the global level, it is estimated that 9.6 million new TB cases will be reported. Official report from the TB Sub-Directorate of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia based on the 2014 WHO Report: In Indonesia, it is estimated that there are 1 million new TB cases (399 per 100,000 population) with 100,000 deaths (41 per 100,000 population). The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of drug swallowing supervisor assistance (PMO) in increasing the compliance of TB patients in taking medication in Rantau Prapat. The design of this study uses an analytical observation research method. The population in this study is all TB patients in the Labuhan Batu area which totals 967 people. The sample in this study is TB patients in Labuhan Batu, Rantau Prapat with a total of 15 TB patients. The results of the study showed that of the 9 clients (60%) who received good family support, 7 clients (46.7%) behaved well in preventing the transmission of pulmonary TB and 2 clients (13.3%) behaved poorly in the prevention of pulmonary TB transmission. The results of the study were analyzed using the chi-square test to determine decision-making on the hypothesis tested. The working hypothesis raised is based on Ha, namely there is a relationship between PMO support and patient compliance in taking medication by pulmonary TB clients The results of statistical analysis using the chi-square test obtained a p value = 0.041, then it can be concluded that Ho is rejected. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between PMO support and compliance of TB patients in taking medication.

Abstract

Introduction. Stress in heart patients is caused by unpreparedness in accepting the verdict given by health workers. The way and sentence of delivery that is done directly provides shock therapy to heart patients which increases stress. Stress can result in problems in all systems of the human body. Methods. Data collection was carried out using participant demographic data and measurement of stress conditions with the Perceive Stress Scale (PSS) which will be analyzed using univariate, bivariate and Anova. The sampling technique of this study used purposive sampling inclusion criteria willing to become participants, patients with stage-1 heart failure (NYHA), not experiencing visual and hearing impairment, communicative and cooperative Results. The tcount value is 22.798 which is greater than ttable (2.035) for a confidence level of df=33 at a confidence level of 95%, so it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a difference in reducing stress in heart failure sufferers between before and after the intervention in the therapy group reminiscence. Conclusion. The reduction in stress in heart failure sufferers with Reminiscence therapy after the intervention was better than Reminiscence therapy before the intervention and there was a significant reduction in stress in heart failure sufferers with reminiscence therapy treatment.

Some of the influencing factors are behavioral factors, namely knowledge, attitudes and behavior in the implementation of routine medication adherence. The method used is descriptive observational with 30 participants who are the people of Sampali Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. The PkM team provided the material in question 1) Definition of tuberculosis, 2) Causes of tuberculosis 3) Signs and symptoms of tuberculosis, 4) Complications of tuberculosis, and 5) Prevention of tuberculosis. 1) The majority of tuberculosis (TB) is bad in 28 people, 2) The causes of tuberculosis (TB) are mostly bad in 28 people, 3) Signs and symptoms of tuberculosis (TB) are mostly bad in 28 people, 4) Complications of tuberculosis ( TB) the majority of all participants did not know as many as 30 people and 5) correct prevention of tuberculosis (TBC) all participants could not afford as many as 30 people while after the implementation of the activity: 1) Definition of tuberculosis (TB) the majority was good as many as 28 people, 2) Causes of tuberculosis (TBC) the majority were good, 26 people, 3) Signs and symptoms of tuberculosis (TB), the majority were good, 28 people, 4) Complications of tuberculosis (TBC), the majority were good, 18 people, and 5) Prevention of transmission of tuberculosis (TB) was correct throughout participants have been able to as many as 26 people.
