Abstract

Abstract The geometry of a road is a variable that affects the incidence of traffic accidents on the road. At this time, there are still national roads that do not fully meet the road technical requirements, which in this study are referred to as substandard roads. The potential for traffic accidents on substandard roads and on standard roads is thought to be different, and this is the hypothesis of this study. The purpose of this study is to examine whether the potential for traffic accidents on substandard roads and on standard roads is significantly different. The geometric effect of substandard and standard roads on traffic accident victims is analyzed in this research. In this study, a randomly selected sample was used, with a sample size of 72 national roads located in West Java Province. On the 72 national roads, field observations were carried out, in order to determine whether the geometry of the road sections fully met the technical planning criteria for national roads. In this study, traffic accident data of 2018 was used. This study shows that road geometry, both substandard and standard, does not significantly affect the potential for the number of traffic accidents on national roads. This study also proves that there is a significant difference in the potential for death victims of traffic accidents and the potential for minor injury victims of traffic accidents on substandard and on standard national roads. Keywords: national road; road geometry; substandard roads; standard roads; traffic accident Abstrak Geometrik suatu jalan merupakan suatu variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap timbulnya kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan tersebut. Pada saat ini, masih terdapat jalan nasional yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi persyaratan teknis jalan, yang pada penelitian ini jalan seperti itu disebut sebagai jalan substandar. Potensi terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan substandar dan di jalan standar diduga berbeda, dan hal ini menjadi hipotesis penelitian ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji apakah potensi terjadinya kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan substandar dan di jalan standar secara signifikan berbeda. Pengaruh geometrik jalan substandar dan jalan standar terhadap korban kecelakaan lalu lintas dianalisis pada studi ini. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sampel yang dipilih secara acak, dengan ukuran sampel 72 ruas jalan nasional yang terletak di Provinsi Jawa Barat. Terhadap 72 ruas jalan nasional tersebut dilakukan pengamatan lapangan, agar dapat ditentukan apakah geometrik ruas jalan tersebut sepenuhnya memenuhi kriteria perencanaan teknis jalan nasional. Pada penelitian ini digunakan data kecelakaan lalu lintas tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa geometrik jalan, baik yang substandar maupun yang standar, tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap potensi terjadinya jumlah kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas di jalan nasional. Studi ini juga membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada potensi terjadinya korban kecelakaan lalu lintas yang meninggal dunia dan potensi terjadinya korban kecelakaan lalu lintas yang mengalami luka ringan di jalan nasional substandar dan di jalan nasional standar. Abstract

Abstract The number of traffic accidents, including motorcycle traffic accidents in the City of Bandung in 2013–2017 tends to decrease. However, traffic accidents involving motorbikes still dominate traffic accidents that occur. The proportion of traffic accidents involving motorbikes is still the highest compared to those of other traffic accidents, and reaches a maximum in 2015, which is 93% of the number of traffic accidents in the City of Bandung. In addition, the chance of death in motorcycle traffic accidents is still relatively high, which is between 9% and 21%. The high chance of death victims requires a more in-depth study to improve traffic safety, especially in motorcycle use. Keywords: traffic accidents, motorcycle traffic accidents, traffic accident victims, traffic safety  Abstrak Jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas, termasuk kecelakaan lalu lintas sepeda motor di Kota Bandung pada tahun 2013–2017 cenderung mengalami penurunan. Walaupun demikian, kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan sepeda motor masih mendominasi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang terjadi. Proporsi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang melibatkan sepeda motor masih yang terbesar dibandingkan dengan kejadian kecelakaan lalu lintas yang lain, dan mencapai maksimum pada tahun 2015, yaitu 93% terhadap jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas di Kota Bandung. Selain itu, peluang terjadinya korban meninggal dunia dalam kecelakaan lalu lintas sepeda motor masih relatif tinggi, yaitu antara 9% hingga 21%. Tingginya peluang terjadinya korban meninggal dunia ini membutuhkan penelitian yang lebih mendalam untuk meningkatkan keselamatan berlalu lintas, khususnya dalam penggunaan sepeda motor. Kata-kata kunci: kecelakaan lalu lintas, kecelakaan lalu lintas sepeda motor, korban kecelakaan lalu lintas, keselamatan lalu lintas

Abstract

Urban and rural roads in Indonesia have increased the movement of current and volume of traffic every year. The increase in traffic should be offset by improved road infrastructure, both from quality and quantity. Jalan A is a street located in Kabupaten Lebak. Jalan A is one of the roads that is used as an alternative to infrastructure improvement in case of vehicle congestion on the main road. The existing condition of road A that occurs when experiencing severe levels of damage along the road. Based on this, it needs to be done planning improvement of road section A to fulfill the quality and performed road widening to meet the quantity. The road planning uses the method from Pt-T-01-2002-B Manual Desain Perkerasan (MDP) 2017 and AASTHO-1993 method. The resulting planning is used to provide an alternative in design calculations. The calculations obtained become a reference decision making by the stake holder in determining the design of the planning used.

Abstract

Transportation is an important thing and cannot be separated from human life. Good transportationis smooth, convenient and efficient transportation. On Jalan Letjen Ibrahim Adjie in TasikmalayaCity, there is a grade crossing with the railroad tracks. This study aims to find and measure thecapacity of Jalan Letjen Ibrahim Adjie section at the grade crossing of Tasikmalaya City. Primarydata used are the results of geometric measurements of Roads and data collection on the capacityof Jalan Letjen Ibrahim Adjie. Whereas secondary data was obtained from related institutions. Fromthe analysis it can be seen that the ratio of current to capacity of Jalan Letjen Ibrahim Adjie in 2019(V/C) at 0.319, identified as smooth transportation. The degree of saturation of the volume percapacity (V/C) ratio will become saturated at 0.795, predicted to occur in 2034 with the assumptionof 6% traffic growth per year and road capacity is still the same as in 2019. It is necessary to do analternative handling of the traffic jam, namely the construction of elevated road junction, such asfly over or under pass.

Abstract

Roads are infrastructure that is needed in the transportation system to connect one place to another in order to meet economic, social and cultural needs. Good road conditions are needed for smooth transportation activities, namely to accelerate the smooth mobilization of goods and services in a safe and comfortable manner. The high growth in the number of vehicles has an impact on traffic problems on the highway, such as what happened to Jalan Mohammad Toha. The purpose of this study is to determine how much the road capacity, the value of the degree of saturation, vehicle speed, travel time and road service level. The result of this research is that Jalan Mohammad Toha is an office area with several shops on the side of the road with a length of 0.2 km, a lane width of 12 m and a sidewalk width of 1.5m. and after conducting research on Jalan Mohammad Toha, it can be concluded that this road is included at service level C.

Abstract

Sea transportation is the main transportation used by residents in the islands. The development of marine transportation facilities is expensive to support these activities. Therefore, several alternatives are needed to streamline construction costs, one of which is the construction of a pier using a mooring dolphin. The purpose of this study is to calculate the structural strength of the mooring dolphin with a ship capacity of 2000 GT at Munse Port, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Structural analysis is carried out by analyzing pile capacity and joint displacement analysis. The calculation of the strength of the pile elements at the pier was analyzed using the SAP 2000 program. For soil which is modeled as an elastic support, the ability to support the load depends on the magnitude of the modulus of subgrade reaction from the soil. Embedded pile modeling is modeled with a nonlinear spring force. The results of the analysis by analyzing the capacity of piles with dimensions of 508 mm with a thickness of 12 mm resulted in a capacity ratio of 0.72. The results of the analysis of joint displacement in service or operational conditions are 37.09 mm and in earthquake conditions, they are 13.01 mm.

Abstract

The flood was triggered by a decrease in absorption zones as population growth, activity and land requirements for housing or economic activities increased. To overcome the flood, Bandung City created a conservation pond as one of the flood prevention measures designated as one of the most frequent flood forest prevention measures in Sarimas. The purpose of this study is to assess of the capacity of the retention pool in Sarimas housing, Sukamiskin sub-district, Arcamanik subdistrict, Bandung city.Based on a runoff discharge analysis conducted with rain on the 10-year obtained a maximum of water runoff discharge using the method of synthetic hydrograph unit (HSS) Nakayasu of 20.52 m3. The traceability of the flow path carried out still leaves a significant volume of the water tank, with the capacity of the outlet remaining up to 5.01 m3/s capacity for the pump.

Abstract

Ciherang Irrigation Area in Bandung is the location of the study. Based on data obtained, it showed water deficiency in the planting season 1 on October and in the planting season 2 on August. Thus, the study aimed to analyze the comparison between the availability of water and the need of water to get a proper cropping pattern implemented in the irrigation area. The availability of water was obtained from water debit that analyzed using the Weibull method while the need of water was determined by the availability of water for rice and palawija.. The results revealed that requirement of irrigation water in an existing cropping pattern of rice/palawija – rice/palawija – rice/palawija using the highest value of water demand at the weir intake gate (DR), 2,255 1/sec/ha, produced the total availability of water in an amount of 4,832 m3/sec while using the unit number for the implementation of operations in the field obtained the highest irrigation requirement value of 3,449 m3/sec. The alternative cropping pattern of rice – rice – palawija using the total value of water demand at the weir intake gate (DR), 2,436 1/sec/ha produced the availability of water in an amount of 5,261 m3/sec while using the unit number for the implementation of operations in the field obtained the highest irrigation requirement value in amount of 4,154 m3/sec.

Abstract

Jumlah sepeda motor yang tinggi dapat menimbulkan kemungkinan terjadinya jumlah kecelakaan di Kota Bandung. Semakin tingginya jumlah kecelakaan di Kota Bandung dapat menimbulkan tingkat keselamatan menjadi rendah. Tingkat keselamatan sepeda motor dijalan dapat digambarkan dari indikator yang mempengaruhinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan preferensi kemudahan pengunaan sepeda motor pada lalu lintas di Kota Bandung. Preferensi diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu upaya untuk menentukan penggunaan sepeda motor di Kota Bandung. Penilaian studi dilakukan dengan melihat kajian tentang indikator berbagai literatur, RUNK di Indonesia dan Road Safety Kota Bandung. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil penyebaran kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 60 responden dan terbagi atas empat bagian, yaitu: 1) profil  responden,  2) kuesioner ukuran harapan, 3) kuesioner ukuran kinerja, dan 4) infor-masi   tambahan. Responden penelitian 26,0% adalah wanita dan sisanya (74 %) adalah pria.  Usia  respon-den  diatas 20 tahun sebesar 87% dan dibawah 20 tahun sebesar 13%. Jumlah responden yang berprofesi sebagi karyawan sebesar 55%, pelajar sebesar 26%, pekerja swasta sebesar 12%, dan wiraswasta sebesar 19%. Hasil analisis melalui metode Importance Performance Analysis mendapatkan semua pertanyaan yang dibuat memiliki tingkat kepentingan dan kemudahan berada pada kuadran ke II. Hal ini memberikan pengertian bahwa aspek berkendara merupakan hal yang penting dan bila dilakukan pembiasaan maka dalam penerapannya akan mudah. Kata Kunci : preferensi, kecelakaan, keselamatan, RUNK, sepeda motor.

Abstract

Accidents are unplanned and uncontrolled actions, when the action and reaction of objects, materials or radiation will cause injury or Possible injury Jalan Malangbong – Limbangan is the National route which is located on the southern route of West Java. The results of the analysis showed that the largest percentage of traffic accidents on the Malangbong Limbangan road from 2015 - 2020, the largest number of accident victims was 2015 by 33% of the number of accident victims, the placeor location of the accident occurred 63% at bends during the period 2015 - 2020, based on the type of collision by 42% when overtaking, accidents based on the most road users are motorcycles with the largest percentage from 2015 - 2020 by 58%, and 79% occurring in areas around residential areas, the largest time of occurrence is from 06.00 - 15.00 at 55 % and the main factors causing traffic accidents from year 2015 – 2020 is an environmental factor of 63% which occurs in corners due to blocked visibility and bumpy road surfaces due to heavy vehicle loads and the number of road surfaces that are temporarily repaired with patches
