Abstract

Background: Arosbaya Limestone Hill has now become one of the alternative developing tourist attractions in Madura. The shape of the hill that has sculptures from the rest of the limestone quarry with unique shapes and the red color of the hill blushed into a uniqueness that invited many tourists to this destination. Besides that, its location is easily accessible and not far from other tourist destinations, namely the grave religious site of the Bangkalan Kings “Mother’s Tears” which incidentally are already well-known making the potential of this destination developed quite large. Purpose: The purpose of this activity is to increase the understanding and ability of both managers and residents around the Arobi Kapur Hill attractions in Berbeluk Village Arosbaya District Bangkalan Madura Regency on how to manage a tourist destination. Methods: awareness raising and tourism awareness training in the form of awareness of tourism awareness concepts and Sapta Pesona Wisata, tourism management training and excellent service. Results: From the results of the socialization and training, the manager and the community around the Bukit Kapor Arosbaya tourism object can get attention and gain knowledge and skills regarding aspects in the management and management of attractions. Conclusion: Partners get increased knowledge and skills in managing a destination. So that his hope through this program creates economic independence of citizens, especially young people through the field of tourism, the availability of new jobs for residents, and the availability of sustainable management of attractions.

Abstract

Accessibility is the facilities provided for persons with disabilities to realize equality and opportunity and all aspects of life and livelihood as ease of moving through and using buildings and the environment with due regard to fluency and feasibility. The purpose of this study was to determine the Gorontalo District regional government policy in implementing the Act relating to the accessibility of the needs of persons with disabilities. Particularly on the accessibility of persons with disabilities to government agencies in Gorontalo District based on Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities and universal design principles implemented in Ministerial Regulation No. 14 of 2017 concerning Building Easiness Requirements. This research uses a normative a juridical type of research with a juridical empirical approach. The results showed that (1). Implementation of Law No. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities in Gorontalo Regency has not been implemented optimally (2). Obstacles found in government agencies in the Gorontalo District environment include government buildings not yet accessible for persons with disabilities. This means that the facilities provided do not meet the universal design principles of ease, usefulness, safety, and independence. The absence of regulations in the form of Regional Regulations and Regents as a legal umbrella related to the standard facilities and services that must be provided for persons with disabilities, and the lack of local budgets for the development and construction of facilities related to the accessibility of persons with disabilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the role of the supporting and inhibiting factors of the SIKOBER Tourism Awareness Group (Sidokumpul Kompak Berhias) in developing the Kreasi Village in Sidokumpul Village, Gresik Regency. Kreasi Village, which used to be a place known as a slum area, has now become a tourist attraction in the midst of the crowded city of Gresik. This study used a qualitative approach, namely data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and use of document materials which were then presented in descriptive form. The results of this study indicate that the SIKOBER Tourism Awareness Group has several roles in the development of this tourist village. The SIKOBER Tourism Awareness Group has conducted public education in the form of providing training on environmental hygiene, recycling waste management into goods of economic value, urban farming, and the establishment of the Creative Village Institute to develop tourism in the area. The community's increased capacity after the training and collaboration between the SIKOBER Tourism Awareness Group and PT Pertamina Lubricant is a supporting factor in the successful development of the Kreasi village. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors in tourism development in Kreasi Village are the lack of funding sources and the lack of community participation in the development of this Kreasi Village

Abstract

Promotion is one of the methods conducted by the tourist attractions managers in increasing tourist visits. Due to that, the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency set promotional at Taman Wisata Tawun. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were used by conducting interviews, observation, and the documentation. The results of the research can be seen, the promotion strategy of the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency in promoting Taman Wisata Tawun by advertising from various media, such as print media, like brochures, booklets, and billboards. Next is social media, namely Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, and electronic media, such as television. Also, through events, such as Keduk Beji, music events, Orek-Orek, Art & Culture Festival, and Pasar Jadul. From the numerous promotional strategies carried out by the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency, the promotional obstacles faced by the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports of Ngawi Regency in increasing the number of tourist visits at Taman Wisata Tawun is also known.

Abstract

Setiap desa memiliki potensi, baik potensi fisik yang berupa tanah, air, iklim, lingkungan geografis, binatang ternak, dan sumber daya manusia, dan potensi non-fisik berupa masyarakat dengan corak dan interaksinya. Salah satu potensi alam yang ada di Desa Pandu, Kecamatan Cerme, Kabupaten Gresik adalah hasil tambak yaitu ikan bandeng yang masih belum optimal pemanfaatannya. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pelatihan pengolahan kerupuk Amplang sebagai salah satu upaya untuk pemberdayaan masyarakat menuju kemandirian. Program pelatihan amplang yang merupakan salah satu bagian kegiatan program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) BBM 66 Universitas Airlangga berupa pelatihan tentang cara pengolahan produk dengan memanfaatkan hasil tambak menjadi kerupuk amplang sehingga dapat mempunyai nilai jual yang tinggi, perizinan dan legalitas usaha atau produk, dan pemasaran melalui digital marketing. Pasca mengikuti pelatihan, masyarakat menjadi tahu tentang diversifikasi produk bandeng dan termotivasi untuk mengembangkan potensi yang ada di Desa Pandu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengmas ini sejalan dengan amanat Undang-Undang No. 10 tahun 2009 tentang Kepariwisataan yang menyatakan bahwa setiap pengunjung, pelaku dan pekerja wisata berhak mendapatkan jaminan perlindungan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan selama mereka beraktivitas di area objek wisata. Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan pengetahuan pada pengunjung dan pihak pengelola wisata tentang pengenalan potensi bahaya yang ada di masing-masing wahana permainan yang ada di Edu Wisata Lontar Sewu, Desa Hendrosari Kecamatan Menganti, Kabupaten Gresik.  Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan pendekatan partisipasi Masyarakat.  Partisipasi masyarakat adalah keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam proses pengidentifikasian masalah dan potensi yang ada di masyarakat, pemilihan dan pengambilan keputusan tentang alternatif solusi untuk menangani masalah dalam proses mengevaluasi perubahan yang terjadi. Tahapan pertama dimulai dengan identifikasi potensi bahay yang ada di Edu Wisata Lontar sewu dengan cara observasi lapangan. Tahap kedua yaitu pembuatan peta dan informasi terkait pengenalan potensi bahaya di tiap wahana melalui media banner yang di tempel di setiap wahana permainan. Tahap ke tiga adalah pembuatan video safety induction kemudian dipergunakan saat acara sosialisasi kepada pengunjung dan pekerja Edu Wisata Lontar Sewu tanggal 17 dan 18 September 2022. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai pengetahuan keselamatan berwisata pada pengunjung dan pekerja Edu Wisata Lontar Sewu.

Abstract

Due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia, the number of tourist arrivals to Indonesia fell in 2020. The COVID-19virus has paralyzed the tourism industry. Setigi is one of the tourist attractions that have been affected by the pandemic.Before the pandemic, Setigi was one of the popular tourist destinations in Gresik, East Java. During the pandemic, touristsbegan to stop coming, which caused a decline in the number of visitors at Setigi.The research was carried out using thequalitative method, which resulted in descriptive data, to facilitate obtaining information. Data collection techniques usedwere interview, observation, and documentation techniques. This study aims to discover what strategies are carried out bySetigi managers to increase the number of visitors during the pandemic and what obstacles the managers face during thestrategy implementation process. The author’s research results are the strategies the manager carried out to raise the numberof tourists during the pandemic; the first is to promote Setigi Tourism’s official account on social media platforms likeInstagram, Facebook, and Twitter. During the pandemic, promotional activities using social media have been an effective wayto do. The second strategy is to strengthen health protocols in tourist attractions by installing hygiene instruments andcontinuously monitoring the tourist attraction area’s condition. The third strategy is the improvement of facilities and servicesin tourist attractions, employees are required to welcome tourists in a friendly and polite manner and not forget to remindtourists about health protocols.Keyword: Tourism, COVID-19, pandemic, health protocol, promotion, Setigi.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on various sectors, such as the tourism sector, which is characterized by, among other things, a decrease in the number of visitors and the closure of tourist attractions. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Government has made various efforts to reduce the spread of the virus, one of which is by establishing and implementing various tourism policies. The implementation of tourism policies during the pandemic has in fact also resulted in innovation in various tourist destinations except the Surabaya Zoo by creating educational virtual tour packages. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques using interviews, observation and searching for laws, references, articles, journals and websites. The research results show that government policies during the Covid-19 pandemic include regulations making laws and regulations related to tourism activities which are targeted at tourists and tourism business actors. Responding to the tourism policy made by the government during the pandemic, the Surabaya Zoo is one of the tourist destinations that can take advantage of the pandemic situation by creating alternative tourism in the form of educational virtual tour packages. This tour package is intended for tourists who want to get to know animal life online, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi model pengembangan kampung wisata yang berkelanjutan di Surabaya, melalui desain rute tematik dan pembentukan budaya organisasi yang berorientasi pada pelanggan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari wawancara mendalam dan observasi partisipatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai keramahan, kebanggaan lokal, dan misi keberlanjutan berperan sebagai inti budaya organisasi. Identitas budaya diperlukan untuk merekatkan beberapa kampung yang tergabung pada kesatuan rute tematik yang baru. Sehubungan dengan orientasi kepada pelanggan, diperlukan kepemimpinan dan strategi sebagai pilar pendukung. Berikutnya diperlukan inisiatif eksternal dan internal, dalam menjaga keberlanjutan orientasi layanan kepada wisatawan. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi misi pariwisata berkelanjutan dan penerapan strategi pengembangan kampung wisata di Indonesia.

Abstract

Mitra sasaran dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah masyarakat Desa Dongko, Kecamatan Dongko, Kabupaten Trenggalek, Jawa Timur. Permasalahan mitra yaitu (1) Belum optimalnya pengelolaan potensi alam yang ada di Desa Dongko; (2) Rendahnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang peran BUMDesa sebagai penyangga perekonomian desa; (3) Belum optimalnya pengelolaan BUMDesa. Tujuan dari program ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan skill kelompok mitra dalam mengelola potensi yang dimiliki desa sehingga dapat bernilai ekonomis, serta mengoptimalkan fungsi BUMDesa sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan asli desa dan perekonomian masyarakat desa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari n3 tahap. Pertama yakni persiapan, kedua yakni pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penyuluhan, dan ketiga yakni tahap evaluasi. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini yakni adanya publikasi media online, video kegiatan (youtube) dan reels IG sebagai sarana promosi, meningkatnya pemahaman pentingnya BUMDes sebagai instrumen pendukung pengembangan desa wisata, serta draft paket wisata di Desa Dongko.
