Abstract

This paper dedicated to examine and explore the model of dakwah found in the collection of short stories Lukisan Kaligrafi by A. Mustofa Bisri. The dakwah model examined in this paper is a friendly Islamic dakwah model. Friendly Islam is the face of Islam that is full of politeness and tolerance, not the face of Islam which is hard and full of anger. The collection of short stories Lukisan Kaligrafi is suitable as a medium to preach this friendly Islam because the short stories in this collection of short stories tell the twists and turns of the Islamic religious life experienced by the characters in each of the short stories. Therefore, this paper will try to identify (1) the proselytizing politeness in a collection of short stories Lukisan Kaligrafi and (2) the portrait of religious tolerance in a collection of short stories Lukisan Kaligrafi. Accentuating the friendly face of Islam is important because today the face of Islam is heavily tarnished by the actions of some groups acting in the name of Islam by acting outside the meaning of Islam which is rahmatan lil ‘ālamīn

Abstract

This article seeks to identify the cultural ecological values contained in the Orang-orang Proyek novels, as well as their role as environmental conservation media. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with data analysis step (1) data classification, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) data analysis and interpretation, and (5) drawing a conclusion. The results of this study indicate the existence of cultural ecological values in the Orang-orang Proyek novel (1) the representation of nature in the cultural perspective and (2) the harmonization of human, nature, and culture. The value of cultural ecology in this novel can be used as media to arouse readers in environmental conservation efforts.

Abstract

This paper attempts to describe the existence of oral literature in the millennial era. Oral literature in the millennial era must have an applied function. That is, oral literature does not stand alone, but rather has a role and contribute to the environment and surrounding communities. These contributions include aspects of religiosity and environmental aspects. From the aspect of religiosity, oral literature is a form of literature that contains the high religious value. This is mainly due to the influence of religions that have and have developed in the Java region. On the environmental aspect, oral literature has an important role in environmental preservation. Oral literature forms a taboo that develops in a society that indirectly impacts on the nature of nature.

Abstract

This paper tries to identify the Ihsan behavior contained in the Kambing dan Hujan novel by Mahfud Ikhwan. Ihsan behavior is identified from the behavior of charity, patience, jihad, and fear. This paper uses a qualitative approach to examine representations of Ihsan behavior in the Goat and Rain novels. The steps of data analysis in this paper are divided into six specific stages, namely (1) processing and preparing data for the analysis process, (2) reading the entire data to find general meaning, (3) initiating data codification, (4) applying coding to describe the domains, participants, categories, and themes analyzed, (5) presentation of descriptions and themes in the form of narratives, and (6) making interpretations.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the tolerant behavior contained in poems by high school students. This research uses a qualitative approach based on the theory of sociological literature. The results showed that tolerant behavior contained in poems by students in the form of (1) respecting others, (2) accepting and valuing differences, (3) being open to others, and (4) accepting differences of opinion. Tolerant behavior in poetry high school students tends to be aimed at the closest people, namely mothers and friends. Tolerant behavior is also aimed not only at fellow human beings but also at other living things.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku toleran yang terdapat dalam puisi karya siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berdasarkan teori sosiologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku toleran yang terdapat dalam puisi karya siswa berupa (1) menghargai orang lain, (2) menerima dan menghargai perbedaan, (3) bersikap terbuka terhadap orang lain, dan (4) menerima perbedaan pendapat. Perilaku toleran dalam puisi karya siswa SMA cenderung ditujukan kepada orang terdekat, yakni ibu dan sahabat. Perilaku toleran juga ditujukan tidak hanya kepada sesama manusia, namun juga kepada makhluk hidup lain.

Abstract

This article contains conceptual ideas about innovative learning methods that can be used for learning to write poetry. This method is an ATM method. The ATM method stands for observing, writing, and modifying. As the name implies, this learning method has three main syntaxes, namely observing, writing, and modifying. Each syntax is translated back into a more specific syntax. This ATM method is implemented in learning to write poetry with environmental insight.

Abstract

This study aims to introduce the Indonesian language and culture to the world through cultural-based BIPA (Indonesian Language for Foreign Speakers) learning. The method used is content analysis to identify the cultural-based materials in BIPA learning related to Indonesian culture such as customs, arts, music, dance, and culinary. The results of the study show that cultural-based BIPA learning can effectively introduce the Indonesian language and culture to the world. The cultural-based materials in BIPA learning can increase the interest and understanding of the world towards the Indonesian language and culture. Therefore, cultural-based BIPA learning needs to be developed and disseminated widely to introduce the Indonesian language and culture to the world.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji representasi kelas sosial dalam Antologi Cerpen Garis Imajiner yang diterbitkan oleh siswa SMA 1 Simanjaya Sekaran. Menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana berbagai kelas sosial tercermin dalam karya-karya fiksi siswa, serta bagaimana karya sastra ini merefleksikan struktur sosial masyarakat. Metode penelitian kualitatif diterapkan dengan studi literatur sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, mencakup kutipan, dialog, dan narasi dalam antologi cerpen tersebut. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengadopsi teori sosiologi sastra, termasuk konsep kelas sosial Max Weber dan Pierre Bourdieu tentang modal ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya delapan kelas sosial yang tergambar dalam cerpen, meliputi pemilik modal, bangsawan, profesional tinggi, pegawai negeri, guru/dosen, ustaz/pendeta, buruh, dan pengrajin. Temuan ini mencerminkan kesadaran siswa akan stratifikasi sosial serta kreativitas mereka dalam menggambarkan struktur sosial tersebut. Penelitian ini juga membahas bagaimana kelas sosial berdasarkan pekerjaan dan lingkungan digambarkan dalam karya sastra, serta implikasinya terhadap pemahaman dan interpretasi siswa tentang realitas sosial di sekitar mereka. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman bagaimana karya sastra merefleksikan dan membentuk pandangan sosial, serta menawarkan wawasan untuk penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai interaksi antara sosiologi, sastra, dan pendidikan.

Abstract

This article examines the Ecological Jihad carried out by women's organization of Nahdlatul Ulama called Muslimat NU through Sedekah Sampah (Waste Alms) in Bungah District, Gresik Regency. This movement is a concrete effort to address environmental challenges with a religious approach. This movement not only targets waste reduction but also aims to foster ecological awareness based on spiritual values. This study aims to analyse three main aspects of the movement. First, how does Muslimat NU implement religious values in the context of environmental conservation? Second, the role of Muslimat NU is to increase public awareness of the importance of protecting the environment through waste management activities. Third, the real impact of this movement on environmental awareness in Gresik. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with field observation methods, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The data is analysed to understand the patterns that emerge in the application of religious values ​​and the public's response to this movement. The results of the study indicate that the concept of ecological jihad applied through the waste alms movement has succeeded in motivating the public to care more about the environment, while also having a positive impact on waste reduction in Bungah district.
