Abstract

Latar Belakang: Menopause merupakan tonggak yang penting dalam kesehatan wanita dan signifikan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup wanita. Memasuki masa post-menopause keluhan akan  gejala menopause yang dialami meningkat.  Penelitian yang meneliti mengenai karakteristik maupun keluhan-keluhan wanita postmenopause yang tinggal di pedesaan masih jarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik wanita postmenopause yang tinggal di pedesaan.Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitianyang digunakan adalah deskriptif cross sectional study. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Petang, salah satu daerah  pedesaan di Bali, Indonesia. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 392 wanita postmenopause. Stages of Reproductive Aging Workshop (STRAW+10) digunakan untuk mengklasifikasikan wanita post menopause. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrument yang dirancang sendiri untuk mengetahui karakteritik demografi dan pola kebiasaan serta Menopause Rating Scale (MRS) untuk gejala-gejala menopause.Hasil Penelitian: Hasil analisa data menunjukkan sebagian besar wanita postmenopause yang tinggal di daerah pedesaan memiliki kebiasaan mengkonsumsi kopi yakni sebanyak 315 responden  (80,4%) dan tidak terbiasa berolahraga 218 (55,6%). Keluhan gejala -gejala menopause  dirasakan oleh wanita postmenopause diantaranya rasa tidak nyaman pada persendian dan otot yakni sebanyak 316 wanita  (82%), kelelahan fisik dan mental sebanyak 275 wanita (70,3%), masalah tidur sebanyak 223 (56,9%,), masalah seksual sebanyak 179 (45,7%), rasa tidak nyaman pada jantung sebanyak 122 (31,2%) serta badan terasa panas dan berkeringat sebanyak 119 (30,4%).Kesimpulan:  Wanita postmenopause yang tinggal didaerah pedesaan memiliki karakteritik yang sedikit berbeda . Hampir sebagian besar wanita postmenopause mengeluhkan lebih dari satu gejala menopause. Hal ini menjadi perhatian khusus dan tantangan tersendiri bagi petugas kesehatan dalam merancang intervensi yang tepat guna membantu mengatasi gejala-gejala yang dialami oleh wanita postmenopause

Abstract

Indonesia as a developing country with a large population is greatly helped by the contraception method to reduce population and improve women's health. The types of saline contraception start from MKJP and Non-MKJP. Each type of contraception has advantages and disadvantages and each has an individual suitability and suitability for each woman. Providing complete information is an important factor in choosing a contraceptive device. The provision of information related to contraceptives and their types as well as health detection in women after childbearing is optimized to increase the coverage of active family planning participants and reduce high-risk groups who are not allowed to use certain contraceptive methods. From the activities carried out, it was obtained from 15 women of childbearing age who participated in this activity as many as 6 people (40%) had good knowledge regarding contraception and as many as 9 people (60%) had less knowledge about contraception. After being given education, there was a significant increase in the understanding of women of childbearing age regarding contraception, namely as many as 15 people (100%).

Abstract

Introduction & Aim: Long-term care is provided for the elderly who experience limitations in carrying out independent physical activities. Caregivers as an important role in accompanying the elderly and families who experience limited independence due to chronic illnesses. Innovation is needed to equip caregivers to provide optimal health services. One of the long-term care has been shown by implementing SKT (Somporn Kantharadussadee Triamchaisri) for the elderly with chronic health conditions and physical limitations. The purpose of this activity is to disseminate SKT to the community through training for caregivers to achieve a better quality of life for the community in Pedungan Health Village. Method of Activity: The stages of this community project use the POAC concept approach, namely Planning by conducting assessments with partners regarding activities, Organizing through approaches with related parties, such as bringing in experts in the field of HCS from Thailand, conducting TOT at ITEKES Bali for the sustainability of HCS in Bali, readiness analysis caregivers in receiving SKT training. Actuating and Controlling conducted training for caregivers related to HCS, evaluation, and reflection which were carried out 4 times in June 2023. Results: These activity results showed that the results of the HCS training had an impact on changes in SpO2, blood pressure, and blood sugar over time. Discussion: This simple exercise pattern makes SKT a safe choice for those with chronic health conditions and physical limitations and for the elderly who need long-term care.

Abstract

Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) adalah sekumpulan gejala berupa gangguan fisik dan mental, yang biasanya muncul mulai satu minggu sampai beberapa hari sebelum datangnya haid, dan menghilang sesudah haid datang, walaupun kadang berlangsung sampai haid berhenti PMS yang terjadi pada remaja dapat menurunkan produktivitas dalam melakukan aktivitas sehari-hari. Gejala-gejala PMS pada remaja dapat berpengaruh terhadap prestasinya di sekolah. Kejadian PMS mempengaruhi kegiatan di sekolah, misalnya: penurunan konsentrasi belajar, terganggunya komunikasi dengan teman juga dimungkinkan terjadi penurunan produktivitas belajar dan peningkatan absensi kehadiran. Penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan desain cross sectional.. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan non probability sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 105 responden. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 7,6% remaja mengalami PMS Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan kejadian PMS (p=0,036), perilaku dengan kejadian PMS (p=0,035), usia menarche dengan kejadian PMS (p=0,047), dan tingkat stress dengan kejadian PMS (p=0,001). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Pengetahuan, perilaku, usia menarche dan tingkat stress dengan kejadian premenstrual syndrome.   Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a collection of symptoms in the form of physical and mental disorders, which usually appear from one week to a few days before menstruation begins, and disappear after menstruation begins, although sometimes it lasts until menstruation stops PMS that occurs in adolescents can reduce productivity in carrying out daily activities. PMS symptoms in adolescents can affect their performance at school. PMS events affect activities at school, for example: decreased concentration in learning, disruption of communication with friends it is also possible that there is a decrease in learning productivity and an increase in absenteeism This research is analytic with cross sectional design. The sampling method is non-probability sampling. The number of research samples is 105 respondents. Data collectionl used a questionnaire The results of this study indicate that as many as 7.6% of adolescents experience PMS. There is a significant relationship between knowledge and the incidence of PMS (p=0.036), behavior and the incidence of premenstrual syndrome (p=0.035), age of menarche and the incidence of PMS (p=0.047) , and stress level with PMS incident (p=0,001) There is a significant relationship between knowledge, behavior, age at menarche and stress level with the incidence of premenstrual syndrome.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Anemia pada remaja masih menjadi masalah global yang memerlukan intervensi dari berbagai multidisiplin. Selain itu, kesadaran terhadap pentingnya pencegahan anemia belum menjadi perhatian utama di kalangan remaja. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan dan remaja dalam manajemen pencegahan anemia serta merubah perilaku remaja dalam menerapkan hidup sehat cegah anemia. Kegiatan yang tercapai adalah peningkatan pengetahuan remaja dalam manajemen pencegahan anemia pada remaja. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman remaja dalam melakukan pencegahan anemia dan perubahan perilaku hidup sehat untuk mendukung pencegahan anemia serta meningkatkan kesadarannya melakukan skrining kesehatan secara rutin. Kata Kunci: Anemia, Remaja, Edukasi Kesehatan, Pengetahuan.  ABSTRACT Anemia in adolescents remains a global problem that requires multidisciplinary interventions. In addition, awareness of the importance of anemia prevention has not yet become a major concern among adolescents. This activity is able to increase knowledge and adolescents in anemia prevention management and change adolescent behavior in implementing a healthy lifestyle to prevent anemia. The activity achieved is an increase in adolescent knowledge in anemia prevention management in adolescents. Abstract

Basic Life Support (BLS) training is a must for nurses before entering the world of work. During the establishment of the pandemic in Indonesia, many face-to-face interactions were limited. The limitation also impacts the learning method of nurses. Most of the institutions use the E-learning (online) method. E-learning in nursing study has several advantages, such as being efficient, economical, and flexible. However, it also has disadvantages such as internet access, lack of interaction, and lack of direct practice with the media. This literature review aims to find the best e-learning methods for BLS training. The research design is a literature review. The article was conducted in three journal databases: Google Scholar, Scopus, and PubMed. A total of 16 articles that met the inclusion criteria were reviewed. The study showed that blended learning is the best recommended learning method for BLS. Combined learning methods improve the knowledge and skill performance of the students.

Abstract

Background: Rapid response to medical emergencies is a crucial factor in reducing patient mortality and morbidity. However, the ambulance calling system in Indonesia still faces various challenges, such as limited access to information, delayed responses, and lack of integration with emergency command centers. Purpose: To review various studies related to the development of mobile/web-based applications for emergency medical services, and to identify research gaps and opportunities for further development. Methods: A search was conducted using the PubMed and ScienceDirect databases, followed by a review and synthesis process using PRISMA. An initial 219 articles were found, of which 15 were included in the study. Results: The application is capable of facilitating ambulance ordering, real-time location tracking, and accelerating emergency response. However, most studies are limited to technical function tests with small sample sizes and have not measured the application's effectiveness on clinical indicators. Conclusion: Innovation in web-based and mobile emergency applications has significant potential to improve response speed, ambulance calling accuracy, and community empowerment in first aid. However, further research is still needed with a broader scope, strong quantitative methods such as quasi-experiments or RCTs, as well as multi-dimensional evaluations involving technical, clinical, and user experience aspects.   Keywords: Emergency Medical Services; First Aid; Mobile Application.   Pendahuluan: Respon cepat terhadap keadaan gawat darurat medis menjadi faktor penting dalam menurunkan mortalitas dan morbiditas pasien. Namun, sistem pemanggilan ambulans di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan akses informasi, keterlambatan respon, dan kurangnya integrasi dengan pusat komando darurat. Tujuan: Untuk meninjau berbagai penelitian terkait integrasi pertolongan pertama dan aktivasi ambulans. Metode: pencarian artikel dilakukan database PubMed dan ScienceDirect kemudian proses review dan sintesis dilakukan menggunakan PRISMA. Artikel awal yang ditemukan adalah 219, kemudian 15 artikel disertakan dalam penelitian. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi mampu memfasilitasi pemesanan ambulans, pelacakan lokasi real-time, dan percepatan respon darurat. Namun, sebagian besar studi masih terbatas pada uji fungsi teknis dengan sampel kecil, belum mengukur efektivitas aplikasi pada indikator klinis. Simpulan: Inovasi aplikasi darurat berbasis web maupun mobile memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kecepatan respon, akurasi pemanggilan ambulans, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pertolongan pertama. Namun, masih diperlukan penelitian lanjutan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas, metode kuantitatif yang kuat misalnya quasi-experiment atau RCT, serta evaluasi multi-dimensi yang melibatkan aspek teknis, klinis, dan pengalaman pengguna. Abstract

ABSTRACT Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is a symptoms of physical and mental disorders, which usually appear from one week to several days before menstruation comes, and disappear after menstruation comes, although sometimes it lasts until menstruation stops. PMS which occurs in teenagers can reduce productivity in carrying out daily activities. PMS symptoms in teenagers can affect their performance at school. The incidence of PMS affects activities at school, for example: decreased concentration in learning, disruption of communication with friends, it is also possible that there will be a decrease in learning productivity and an increase in absenteeism and attendance. The purpose this research was to determine the effectiveness of premenstrual syndrome educational videos on the knowledge, behavior and stress levels of teenager at Senior high School 1 Dawan Klungkung. This research are pre-experimental design with  one-group pretest-post-test desaign. This research location was at Senior high School 1  DawanKlungkung. Analysis data was used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with Wilcoxon test. The results of this study show that educational videos are effective in increasing knowledge and behavior as well as reducing the anxiety level of teenager with premenstrual syndrome with a p value of 0.0001. Analisa data yang digunakan yaitu analisis univariat, analisis bivariat dengan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa video edukasi efektif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku serta penurunan tingkat kecemasan remaja putri dalam menghadapi premenstrual syndrome dengan p value 0,0001. Abstract

Introduction: Postoperative pain and delayed mobilization after cesarean section (CS) can prolong recovery, increase complication risks, and extend hospital length of stay. Preoperative education is a non-pharmacological strategy to improve readiness, and the Health Belief Model (HBM) offers a structured approach by targeting perceived susceptibility, severity, benefits, barriers, cues to action, and self-efficacy. This review examined how HBM-based preoperative health education influences postoperative pain and early mobilization among CS patients. Methods: A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted using Kitchenham’s stages (planning–implementation–reporting) and reported using PRISMA 2020. Searches were performed in ScienceDirect and PubMed using the terms “Health Belief Model,” “postoperative pain,” “early mobilization,” and “cesarean section.” Eligible studies were full-text articles (2020–2024), written in English or Indonesian, that applied or discussed HBM within health interventions. From 3,218 records, 17 studies met the inclusion criteria after screening. Results: Across studies, HBM-based education was associated with improved patient understanding, stronger self-efficacy, and reduced psychological barriers (e.g., fear of pain or wound disruption), which supported earlier rising and increased physical activity. Higher self-efficacy and fewer perceived barriers were consistently linked to lower discomfort and faster functional recovery. Several studies also indicated that multimedia-supported education enhanced engagement and message clarity, potentially strengthening cues to action. Conclusion: HBM-based preoperative education shows promise for supporting pain management and promoting early mobilization after CS, thereby facilitating recovery and improving care efficiency.
