Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the extent to which the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the level of digital literacy influence students’ critical thinking skills. The research subjects were students of the Economic Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The findings revealed that individually, AI and digital literacy did not have a significant influence on critical thinking skills. However, when considered together, both variables showed a significant effect. The coefficient of determination value of 0.748 indicates that 74.8% of the variability in critical thinking skills is explained by these two variables. Therefore, the study concludes that the combined utilization of technology and digital literacy skills plays an important role in enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities. Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, digital literacy, critical thinking.

The effect of teacher performance on student learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Denpasar Bali in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The effect of teacher competence and performance together on student learning outcomes at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Miftahul Ulum Denpasar Bali in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires which took 100 respondents/students. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a significant effect of competence on student learning outcomes at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Denpasar. This is proven by the t-value of 3.818 which means it is greater than the t-table of 1.984 (3.818 > 1.984) meaning H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means teacher competence (X1) has a significant partial influence on student learning outcomes (Y) at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Denpasar. (2) There is a significant influence of teacher performance on student learning outcomes at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Denpasar. This is proven by the t-value of 16.250 which means it is greater than the t-table of 1.984 (16.250 > 1.984) which is in the H0 rejection area, meaning H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means teacher performance (X2) has a significant partial influence on student learning outcomes (Y) at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Denpasar. (3) There is a significant influence of teacher competence and performance together on student learning outcomes at MTs. Miftahul Ulum Denpasar. This is proven by the value obtained by the F count value of 95.210 > from F table, 95.210 > 3.09 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results of the determination coefficient show that the Adjusted R Square is 0.766, which means that 76.6% of the variation in learning outcomes (Y) is influenced by teacher competence (X1) and teacher performance (X2) while the remaining 24.4% is influenced by other factors that are not included in the research model.

Abstract

Internship programs constitute experiential learning that enables students to connect theoretical knowledge with real workplace practice. This study examines the role of the internship program at LPD Desa Pakraman Sesetan in enhancing student competencies. A descriptive qualitative approach with a case-study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation and were analyzed thematically. The findings show that the internship improved students’ technical competencies in financial administration, service, and data management, while also strengthening soft skills such as communication, teamwork, discipline, and problem-solving. The program further deepened students’ understanding of a customary village-based financial institution. However, its effectiveness was still influenced by students’ initial readiness and the quality of supervision. Therefore, more systematic pre-internship briefing and mentoring are needed to optimize the program’s impact.

Abstract

Educational management in economics at the junior high school level plays a strategic role in shaping both learning quality and students’ character development. However, economics learning practices are still largely oriented toward cognitive achievement and have not systematically integrated moral values. This study aims to examine economics education management oriented toward Jnana Dharma in balancing students’ cognitive and moral competencies. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach conducted at SMP Negeri 6 Denpasar, involving economics/IPS teachers, eighth grade students, and learning documents as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation studies and supported by questionnaires. The results indicate that the application of Jnana Dharma oriented economics education management effectively integrates economic rationality with moral values in the learning process. Questionnaire findings show that economic honesty achieved the highest average score, followed by understanding of economic concepts and social responsibility. These results suggest that moral values are more effectively internalized when systematically managed through educational planning, implementation and evaluation. This study concludes that Jnana Dharma oriented economics education management is a relevant strategic framework for developing junior high school students who are not only cognitively competent but also morally responsible in economic decision making
