Abstract

This study aims to design an IoT-based monitoring system for temperature, humidity, and water level in hydroponic plants using Raspberry Pi, as an effort to facilitate monitoring of environmental conditions required in hydroponic plant cultivation. The research method used is Research & Development (R&D), which focuses on system design and testing. The main advantage of this system is its ability to access data in real time remotely, facilitating monitoring without having to be on site. The results of the study show that the developed monitoring system successfully sends temperature, humidity, and water level data to users with good accuracy. Therefore, it can be concluded that this IoT-based monitoring system is effective and reliable for monitoring important parameters in hydroponic plants accurately and in real time.

Abstract

Microstrip antenna is one of the important components in weather radar system, especially in X-band frequency, which requires high performance in terms of gain and bandwidth. This study analyzes the effect of triangular Complementary Split Ring Resonator (CSRR) and U-slot techniques with proximity coupling feeding on the performance of triangular microstrip antenna. The material used is Rogers RT5880 with a dielectric constant of 2.2. The simulation results show that the conventional antenna produces a VSWR value of 1.374, a return loss of -16.039 dB, a bandwidth of 78.707 MHz, and a gain of 10.12 dB. Meanwhile, the antenna modified with CSRR and U-slot and proximity coupling feeding shows improved performance with a VSWR value of 1.495, a return loss of -14.048 dB, a bandwidth of 160.596 MHz, and a gain of 12.09 dB. The addition of a CSRR structure to the groundplane, as well as a U-slot and inset feed to the patch, has proven effective in increasing antenna gain and bandwidth. Therefore, this technique has potential application in weather radar systems to improve signal transmission efficiency and quality.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPada studi ini dilakukan analisis penambahan batang metal berbentuk persegi di dalam feed horn piramida antena reflektor parabola untuk meningkatkan performansi gain, beamwidth dan side lobe level. Kebutuhan utama antena radar maritim adalah memiliki gain yang besar ≥ 27 dB, beamwidth kecil ≤ 2o, dan side lobe level yang rendah ≤ -30 dB. Oleh karena itu, perlu diajukan teknik desain antena parabola dengan penambahan batang metal berbentuk persegi di dalam feed horn piramida untuk meningkatkan performasi gain, beamwidth dan side lobe level. Hasilnya dapat meningkatkan gain antena reflektor parabola menjadi 36,9 dB, memperkecil beamwidth menjadi 1,9o dan menekan side lobe level menjadi 31,4 dB. Hasil studi ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa teknik desain dengan menambahkan batang metal persegi di dalam feed horn piramida antena reflektor parabola dapat meningkatkan performasi gain, beamwidth dan side lobe level lebih baik dibandingkan desain tanpa penambahan batang metal persegi.Kata kunci: antena parabola, feed horn piramida, antena radar maritim, gain ABSTRACTIn this study, an analysis of the addition of square-shaped metal rods was carried out in the pyramid feed horn of a parabolic reflector antenna to increase gain, beamwidth and side lobe level performance. The main requirement for a maritime radar antenna is to have a large gain ≥ 27 dB, a small beamwidth of ≤ 2o, and a low side lobe level of ≤ -30 dB. Therefore, it is necessary to propose a parabolic antenna design technique with the addition of a rectangular metal rod inside the pyramidal feed horn to improve gain, beamwidth and side lobe level performance. The result can increase the gain of the parabolic reflector antenna to 36.9 dB, reduce the beamwidth to 1.9o and suppress the side lobe level to 31.4 dB. The results of this study confirm that the design technique by adding a square metal rod in the pyramid feed horn of a parabolic reflector antenna can improve gain, beamwidth and side lobe level performance better than the design without the addition of square metal rods.Keywords: parabolic antenna, pyramid feed horn, maritime radar antenna, gain

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang dan menguji smart box pendeteksi suhu tubuh, masker, dan hand sanitizer otomatis berbasis Raspberry Pi untuk meminimalisir kontak antara petugas pintu masuk dengan pengunjung dan untuk mempermudah penggunaan hand sanitizer sebagai upaya pencegahan dan penularan penyakit COVID-19. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) yang terdiri dari potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, dan uji coba produk. Sistem menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai pengendali. Input berupa sensor suhu MLX90614, kamera webcam, dan sensor ultrasonik HY-SRF05. Output berupa LCD 16 × 2, pompa, LED, buzzer, dan speaker. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa smart box pendeteksi suhu tubuh, masker, dan hand sanitizer otomatis berbasis Raspberry Pi dapat bekerja dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian. Saat diujicoba dengan berbagai macam kondisi diantaranya saat suhu < 37,3°C dan memakai masker, saat suhu < 37,3°C dan tidak memakai masker, saat suhu > 37,3°C dan memakai masker, dan saat suhu > 37,3°C dan tidak memakai masker, sistem dapat mendeteksi suhu tubuh dan penggunaan masker secara otomatis, serta hand sanitizer dapat bekerja secara otomatis dengan baik. Pengunjung dapat mengetahui apakah dirinya diizinkan masuk dengan melihat LCD, LED indikator, dan mendengarkan buzzer dan speaker.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian scan frekuensi dan lokasi pendeteksi gelombang elektromagnetik berbasis IoT adalah menganalisa dan melakukan penyimpanan data berdasarkan parameter-parameter yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development (R&D).Hasil Penelitian yang dilakukan, menggunakan Raspberry Pi 3B sebagai sistem kontrol, sensor GPS UBLOX NEO-6M sebagai pembacaan titik koordinat dengan rata-rata error pada kedua lokasi tersebut Latitude (lati) 6.83% dan Longitude (long) 2.83% dan sensor RTL 2832U sebagai pendeteksi frekuensi dan intensitas sinyal gelombang elektromagnetik lalu di tentukan dengan parameter-paramter, sehingga diperoleh hasil sinyal frekuensi 470 MHz – 585 MHz untuk tetap bergerak siaran, 585 MHZ – 610 MHz untuk siaran radionavigasi, 730 MHz – 745 MHz untuk siaran, 745 MHz – 810 MHz untuk tetap bergerak kecuali bergerak penerbangan (R), 810 MHz – 881 MHz untuk Tetap bergerak maritime, 881 MHz – 890 MHz untuk bergerak penerbangan, 890 MHz – 942 MHz digunakan untuk tetap bergerak siaran radiolokasi. Hasil data keseluruahan sistem disimpan pada database MySQL dan pengguna dapat melihat pada halaman website (https://0606765.000webhostapp.com/) pada Personal Computer (PC)

Abstract

This study designed and tested an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smart cane for the visually impaired. The research method used Research and Development (Borg & Gall) with a prototype that combines ESP32, ultrasonic sensors, water level sensors, and gyroscopes. IoT integration was carried out through a Telegram bot for sensor reading notifications and GPS coordinate transmission. Functional testing showed that object detection in front was effective at a distance of <100 cm and puddle detection successfully activated audible alerts and notifications. Network testing showed varying notification delays between locations, so local audible alerts were used as the primary safety route, while Telegram served as a supporting tool. In conclusion, the prototype functioned well for obstacle detection, puddle detection, and location tracking, and is worthy of further development by optimizing sensor placement and connectivity. It produced an average latency and delay of <150 seconds with a jitter of 1–75 seconds. Overall results indicate that the prototype functions well and has the potential to become a reliable IoT-based navigation aid for the visually impaired.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak pelatihan media pendukung pembelajaran digital terhadap kompetensi pendidik di Kecamatan Muara Gembong, Kabupaten Bekasi. Pelatihan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan integrasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) dalam pendidikan guna menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, menarik, dan efektif, terutama di daerah dengan keterbatasan akses dan sumber daya seperti Muara Gembong. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, serta survei kepuasan untuk mengevaluasi persepsi peserta terhadap pelatihan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru menggunakan media digital dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan berkelanjutan, pendampingan intensif, dan pengembangan sumber daya yang relevan untuk mendukung penggunaan teknologi yang berkelanjutan dan berdampak pada kualitas pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Penelitian, Pelatihan, Media Pendukung Pembelajaran Digital, Teknologi Informasi, Pendidikan, Kecamatan Muara Gembong Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of digital learning media training on the competence of educators in Muara Gembong District, Bekasi Regency. The training is driven by the need to integrate information and communication technology (ICT) into education to create more interactive, engaging, and effective learning, especially in areas with limited access and resources like Muara Gembong. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests to measure the improvement in participants' understanding and skills, as well as satisfaction surveys to evaluate participants' perceptions of the training. The results show a significant improvement in teachers' ability to use digital media in planning and delivering lessons. This study recommends continuous training, intensive mentoring, and the development of relevant resources to support the sustainable use of technology and its positive impact on education quality. Abstract

The current digital and online era has impacted all sectors, including education. However, in educational administration, for example, student attendance in several educational institutions—particularly at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Electronics Engineering Education Study Program—is still conducted manually. Therefore, an attendance system for Electronics Engineering Education students using QR codes and fingerprints was designed to facilitate the recap of student attendance and eliminate errors in filling out attendance records. The research was conducted using the Research & Development (R\&D) method. The design of the attendance system for Electronics Engineering Education students using QR codes and fingerprints employs the ESP32 as the main controller, the AS608 fingerprint sensor as the input, and a 16x2 LCD as the output to display attendance data, which is then forwarded and stored in both a database and the students’ Telegram accounts. The testing results of the AS608 fingerprint sensor in the Pre-Liminary Testing stage showed an error rate of 9.33% with 15 students, while in the Main Field Testing stage, the error rate decreased to 5% with 20 students. The student attendance system for Electronics Engineering Education using QR codes and fingerprints was successfully designed, and the attendance results are sent to each student in real-time.

Abstract

This research aims to design a face recognition prototype based on YOLO11 using a Raspberry Pi. The prototype design employs a Raspberry Pi 4B, with input from the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 2 and output in the form of audio that provides identification results based on face recognition. In this study, a face dataset consisting of 250 photos with 10 classes or labels was used, meaning that the prototype can recognize faces from 10 individuals. The dataset was divided into 80% (200) face images for training, 8% (20) for testing, and 12% (30) for validation. Based on the testing results of 10 moving videos, the prototype achieved an accuracy of 95%, precision of 100%, recall of 89.6%, and an F1-Score of 94%. Nevertheless, the identification performance is sensitive to backlight conditions, motion blur, and extreme head poses, which can reduce detection accuracy. Abstract

The community service workshop aimed to develop the teachers' professionalism in creating a positive classroom emotional climate. Teachers need to take effective action to improve the quality of structured learning which can be done by improving their professionalism in influencing a positive classroom climate. 48 teachers from SMA Tambun Bekasi participated in this community service workshop. The methodology used in the research included presentations, informative discussion, demonstration, exercise, and practice which were carried out through four main stages. The four main stages were introduction, implementation, guidance, and evaluation. This study used the Classroom Emotional Climate (CEC) instrument. The CEC instrument consists of nine dimensions, namely caring, control, clarity, challenge, motivation, consolidation, collaboration, learning attitudes, and behavioral emotion regulation. After participating in the workshop, the teachers were able to implement what they have learned from the workshop to improve the positive emotional classroom climate of their classroom. Moreover, they have also conducted an evaluation using the CEC instrument taught in the workshop.
