Abstract

This research aims to develop Social Science Textbook teaching materials. The material teaching is developed in the form of social studies textbooks with the theme "Beautiful Togetherness" and appropriate based on student’s expertise and readability as seen from the material or content, linguistic, presentation, and graphic aspects. This research is a research and development study with the design of analysis, planning, and developing textbook development. The feasibility of the expert test was carried out by material experts and media experts, while the students' openness test was carried out by the 4th grade students of MI An-Nuriyah from group A with a total of 36 students and 4th grade students of MI An-Nuriyah from group B with a total of 32 students. The ttechnique of Collecting data is done using a questionnaire. The method used to analyze data is quantitative descriptive analysis techniques by the distribution of five scales and the rating scale predetermined. Textbooks are well considered by material experts and media experts that has a minimum average score "enough" category. The text book feasibility test results the assesment Experts in the "good" category. Evaluation of textbooks by media experts are "enough" and "good" categories. The results of the textbook feasibility test by textbook students are categorized as "good."

Abstract

In English subjects, students tend to be embarrassed because they feel inadequate. With a talking stick, students must actively do something that the teacher asks them to do when they get a stick. The objective study of this research is how the implementation of talking stick in English subject, and how the learning outcomes of English can increase.  The subject of this research is student of MI An-Nuriyah, class 4. Through Classroom Action Research methods, by qualitative analyze method, and collecting data by interview, observation, and documentation conducted at MI An-Nuriyah Bangkalan, there were significant results, including In cycle I, the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students was 58.33% and experienced a significant increase in cycle II, classically the percentage of student learning outcomes reached 83.33%, this shows that the application of the Talking Stick Learning Model was successfully tested in subjects English. In cycle II, student learning outcomes exceeded the expected success target, namely ?80%.

Abstract

An athlete's hydration status is greatly affected by the adequacy of fluids and electrolytes during a workout. This study aimed to formulate a chia seed-based sports drink and analyzed its effect on hydration status and changes in blood glucose levels in football athletes. This experimental study on 46 young football athletes from Tyrex Java Semarang club was selected using a simple random sampling method. There are P(0)=control group (given 300mL placebo); and P(1)=treatment group (given 300 mL chia seed's sport energy gel). Administering placebo and treatment are done 45 minutes before exercise. Bodyweight and blood sugar level measurements are done 30 minutes before exercise and at 120 minutes. There were significant differences in the hydration status of study subjects before and after exercise (p=0.022), but the blood glucose level was not significant (p=0.413). However, the blood glucose level appeared to differ significantly (p=0.0001) between the control and treatment groups. As for changes in hydration status (kg and %) between the control group and treatment showed no sig-nificant differences (p=0.807 and 0.771). The conclusion is that giving chia seed's sports energy drink before exercise can maintain the blood glucose levels even though it does not impact the hydration status of athletes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana “Hubungan Komunikasi Interpersonal Orang Tua Dengan Kenakalan Remaja”. Penelitian ini menggunkan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 122 siswa. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukan nilai Sig sebesar 0,000 yang lebih < dari 0,05, menunjukan bahwa adanya nilai korelasi antara komunikasi dengan kenakalan remaja dengan nilai korelasi -0,668 Kesimpulan penelitian ini bahwa komunikasi salah satu kunci penting dalam mengurangi kecenderungan kenakalan remaja. Berdasarkan teori kenakalan remaja yang dikemukakan oleh Harclok dan teori komunikasi interpersonal yang dikemukakan oleh Devito bawah komunikasi orang tua dan anak dapat mempengaruhi perilaku remaja.

Abstract

Politeness in language, particularly in the context of the unggah-ungguh culture, plays an important role in social interaction within Javanese society. The use of language that reflects norms of politeness indicates respect and appreciation for others, which is at the core of Javanese culture. In the era of globalization and the development of social media, communication phenomena have undergone significant changes, with many individuals tending to neglect language ethics in online interactions. This research aims to identify and describe forms of politeness in language used on the X account @Jawafess. By utilizing the perspective of unggah-ungguh culture, it is hoped to reveal how the Javanese community continues to uphold values of politeness even while operating in the unrestricted realm of social media. This study employs a qualitative research method, with data and research findings presented in verbal form. Data will be presented using the interactive data analysis model developed by (Miles & Huberman, 1994). The data analysis consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In this study, a total of 63 comment data have been identified for analysis to examine language politeness within the context of unggah-ungguh culture. The aim of this analysis is to evaluate how the values of politeness inherent in Javanese culture are implemented in online communication. The findings of this analysis are expected to provide insights into how the Javanese community, particularly the younger generation, adapts to language culture in the era of social media. Additionally, this research can serve as a reference for the development of language and culture education programs that emphasize the importance of politeness in various contexts, especially on online platforms. Thus, the analysis of these 63 comment data not only highlights language practices on social media but also reflects the dynamics of culture and social values that need to be maintained and developed in modern communication.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah problem keterampihan speaking siswa yang kurang diasah dan kurangnya metode pembelajaran yang efektif dalam menunjang tumbuh kembang keterampilan speaking siswa. Maka dirumuskanlah rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini sebagai berikut, bagaimana respons siswa terhadap implementasi direct method di kelas 4 MI An-Nuriyah, bagaimana kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 4 MI An-Nuriyah, bagaimana pengaruh direct method terhadap kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa kelas 4 MI An-Nuriyah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas 4 MI An-Nuriyah, Kwanhyar, Bangkalan. Dengan menggukan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif, dan pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan metode observasi, angket kepada peserta didik, wawancara, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pertama, ada pengaruh Implementasi direct method terhadap keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa di kelas 4 MI An Nuriyah, hal ini terbukti dari hasil analisis data, bahwa nilai r hitung 0,723 lebih besar daripada nilai r tabel product moment, dimana pada N=40 dalam interval kepercayaan 5% diperoleh nilai 0,312 dan dalam interval kepercayaan 1% diperoleh nilai 0,403. Kedua, Implementasi direct method mempengaruhi keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa di kelas 4 MI An Nuriyah, karena nilai r hitung 0,723 berada pada rentetan angka 0,600 sampai 0,800 dengan interpretasi tinggi/ kuat.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Rahn contract at Sharia Pawnshops in Madura, focusing on its alignment with the principles of Maqasid al-Shariah, the socio-cultural and religious dynamics influencing perceptions and implementation, as well as the resulting socio-economic impacts. The study is motivated by academic debates regarding the effectiveness of Islamic financial instruments in achieving societal welfare goals. Using a qualitative approach and a case study method, the research gathers data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that, in general, the Rahn contract at Sharia Pawnshops in Madura has fulfilled the objectives of Maqasid al-Shariah, particularly in terms of asset protection (hifz al-mal) and social welfare. However, its implementation still faces challenges, especially regarding transparency and financial literacy among the public. Furthermore, the socio-cultural and religious dynamics in Madura play a significant role in shaping public perceptions of Rahn, where local wisdom values and religious norms influence the use of Sharia pawnshop services. From a socio-economic impact perspective, the study finds that Sharia Pawnshops contribute to increased financial inclusion, better access to capital for small businesses, and a reduction in reliance on the conventional interest-based pawn system. However, there are some challenges, such as administrative fees that are still perceived as high by some members of the community and limited access in remote areas. These findings provide valuable insights for developing a more inclusive Rahn system that aligns with local community needs. Policy recommendations include enhancing Sharia financial education, optimizing Rahn-based financing schemes, and strengthening regulations to ensure transparency and sustainability for Sharia Pawnshops in Madura.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sports energy gel drink from chia seeds (Salvia hispanica L.) on the VO2 max capacity of football and futsal players in Semarang. This is a quasi-experimental research using a crossover design on twenty-two (22) football and futsal players residing in Semarang, Indonesia. The duration of the study was five weeks, whereby 22 subjects in the control group were given 300 ml of mineral water added with butterfly pea extract as natural colorant, while another 22 subjects in the treatment group were given 300 ml of sports gel drink from chia seed 30 minutes before starting the exercise, twice a week. Data on weight, height, body fat percentage, energy and nutrient intake, and VO2 max capacity were collected. The results showed that there was a significant increase in the player's VO2 max capacity value after treatment with sports gel treatment (p=0.001), but there was no significant increase in the control group (p=0.314). Nutritional status, body fat percentages, physical activity, energy intakes, macro and micronutrients intake were found not to be correlated with VO2 max capacity. It can be concluded that administration of 300 ml sports gel drink from chia seeds before training increases the player's VO2 max capacity.
