Abstract

Abstrak Kemajemukan  sosial  budaya  yang  dikristalisasikan  dalam  bentuk   nilai filsafat hidup bangsa (filsafat Pancasila) adalah merupakan jati diri nasional, jiwa bangsa, asas kerokhanian negara dan sumber cita nasional sekaligus identitas dan integritas nasional, serta diikat dalam satu ikatan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dan rasa cinta tanah air bangsa dan negara.setelah reformasi, kian luas kita rasakan adanya semacam kegelisahan kolektif dalam kehidupan nasional kita. Kegelisahan itu berpangkal dari meluasnya keengganan kita sendiri untuk berbicara tentang Pancasila. Bahkan ada kesan, bahwa masyarakat terutama elit politiknya sungkan meskipun hanya sekedar menyebut Pancasila, karena kawatir kalau dianggap akan menghidupkan Orde Baru. Hal ini disebabkan adanya kekacauan epistemologis pada konteks politik, yang menyamakan nilai-nilai Pancasila dengan sesuatu kekuasaan, rezim atau suatu orde. Melalui empat pilar kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara yaitu Pancasila, Undang-Undang Dasar Negera Republik Indonesia tahun 1945, Bhinneka Tunggal Ika dan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia (NKRI), yang menjadi pisau analisis pada artikel ini diharapkan mampu menjawab tantangan di masa depan seperti globalisasi dan konsep masyarakat kontemporer yang kompleks demi mweujudkan masyarakat adil, makmur dan bermartabat sesuai dengan dasar negera Indonesia, Pancasila. Kata Kunci: Empat Pilar, Masyarakat Adil dan Makmur, Pancasila.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menguji kelayakan dan keefektifan model pembelajaran controversial public issues untuk meningkatkan kemampuan critical democracy mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan model analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam kajian pengembangan ini yaitu berupa model pembelajaran controversial public issues yang layak dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan critical democracy mahasiswa. Uji kelayakan produk didasarkan pada hasil validasi ahli model pembelajaran sebesar 97 persen, validasi ahli materi sebesar 83 persen, dan validasi ahli perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 95 persen. Uji keefektifan produk didasarkan pada hasil pretest dan post test serta hasil observasi untuk mengamati perkembangan kemampuan critical democracy mahasiswa. Hasil uji Normalized Gain diperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 0,5769 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran controversial public issues efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan critical democracy mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the portrait, shape, and strengthening of the voting behavior of villagers and the political education of young and old villagers in the election of village heads. This study used a case study qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that the portrait of villager voting behavior in the village head election was seen through the use of voting rights, material and physical support, and participation in village deliberations. The form of the voting behavior of villagers in the village head election is included in the categories of novice voters, sawing voters, floating masses, and permanent voters. Strengthening the voting behavior of villagers in the election of village heads was carried out through socialization carried out by village officials, contestants, volunteers, churches, and the committee of the voting group. The political education of young villagers in the election of village heads was obtained from various online media, while the older group received political education from print media.

Abstract

Character education in schools is very necessary because character education is the core of education itself. Building character, it can't be done tomorrow. Therefore, character-based Character education in schools is very necessary, because character education is the main thing of education. This research was conducted to examine the practice of character education in schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of character education at Al Azhar BSD@Metland Islamic School in terms of 1) character education objectives; and 2) character education strategies. This research uses case study research method to answer these questions. The researcher acts as the main instrument and collects data by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research data came from the implementation of character education at Al Azhar BSD@Metland Islamic School. To ensure the legality of the data, this research applies triangulation of data sources, theories, and methodologies. The findings of this study imply that overall, the implementation of character education at Al Azhar BSD@Metland Islamic School has been carried out through habituation programs or routine activities applied by the school to its students, including character building activities in the form of teaching and learning activities carried out by educators with competencies in accordance with their fields and carried out regularly and on schedule. The policy implemented to fulfill this goal is to carry out 8 religious policies that have been effectively implemented at Al Azhar BSD@Metland Islamic School.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategies, obstacles, and solutions implemented by teachers at Community Learning Centers in fostering a spirit of patriotism among the children of Indonesian migrant workers. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and document study techniques. The strategies of Community Learning Center teachers in fostering a spirit of patriotism in Indonesian migrant workers' children are realized through internal activities, extracurricular activities, and external activities. Internal activities are carried out in the form of formal learning, flag ceremonies, morning assemblies, morning routines, and independence day celebrations. Extracurricular activities include entrepreneurship, dance, angklung musical instrument training, and music groups. External activities include jamborees, olympiads, arts and sports weeks, cultural festivals, competitions in commemoration of heroes' day, and activities carried out to support the continuity of education for migrant workers' children in Indonesia. The obstacles faced are an insufficient number of teachers, limited time, low awareness among parents, diverse language use, difficult internet access, lack of facilities and infrastructure, suboptimal budget allocation, and low interest among students to continue their education in Indonesia. Efforts made include optimizing the management of teachers' tasks and responsibilities, conducting home visits and pollen activities, promoting the use of Indonesian language, requesting the provision of facilities, implementing cross-subsidies, and requesting the issuance of cross-border travel documents from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia.
