Abstract

This paper deals with integer programming for computing alternative scheduling problems of multi-parallel machine operation. The purpose function used is weighted total tardiness. The model formulation comprises the formulation of the objective function and the formulation of the 16 limiting functions. The model was tested using a numerical example consisting of four multi-operation jobs and several machine alternatives in mathematical software Lingo 9. The programming results show that a feasible solution with a weighted total tardiness measure size of eight.

Abstract

PT MMN merupakan sebuah perusahaan otomotif yang memproduksi engine mobil. Permasalahan yang ada yaitu downtime yang diakibatkan oleh penggantian cutting tool cukup tinggi, sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan untuk mengurangi bahkan menghilangkan downtime akibat penggantian cutting tool tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah reliability, maintainability dan availability (RAM) dan cost of unreliability (COUR) untuk menghitung waktu penggantian cutting tool yang optimum dengan biaya yang terendah dan maintenance value stream mapping (MVSM) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dengan mengeliminasi kegiatan yang tidak mempunyai nilai tambah. Hasil Penelitian ini rata – rata nilai reliability pada MTBF cukup rendah yaitu sebesar 46,95%. Rata – rata availability mencapai target yaitu 95% untuk nilai inherent availability (Ai) sebesar 98,60%, achieved availability (Ai) sebesar 98,64%dan operational availability (Ai) sebesar 94,91% (cutting tool OP030 T1, T2, T3 dan T4 tidak tercapai tingkat availabilitynya) serta nilai maintainability didapatkan hasil yang sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 5,212%. Sedangkan biaya ketidakhandalan penggantian cutting tool change ini cukup tinggi dengan rata - rata biaya ketidakhandalan akibat korektif sebesar Rp 39.645.551,958 dan rata – rata biaya ketidakhandalan yang disebabkan oleh downtime sebesar Rp 60.096.209,958. Hasil perbaikan pada MVSM maka didapatkan nilai VA (MTTR) sebesar 4,05 menit dengan presentase 39,74% atau sama dengan nilai dari presentase efisiensi maintenance. Sedangkan nila NVA (MTTO + MTTY) sebesar 6,14 menit dengan presentase 60,26%. Sehingga nilai future state Mapping yang lebih baik, hal ini dapat dilihat dari pengurangan NVA sebesar 30,02 menit yaitu dari 36,16 menit (90,43%) menjadi 6,14 menit (60,26%) serta naikknya presentase efisiensi perawatan dari 9,57% menjadi 39,74% atau lebih dari 3 kali efisiensi awal

Abstract

SUKORINTEX is a company that works in the textile industry, which is a production company for woven sarongs. The production system used is MTO (make to order), PT. SUKORINTEX has 5 work stations in the production process, namely preparation, weaving, gray room, finishing and pakaging work stations. Based on the initial observations that were made, there were obstacles where there were several unemployed work stations, while several other work stations were still working in full and there were bottlenecks. Therefore, a balance of trails is needed in order to minimize idle time at each work station.In the initial condition the company is aware of a balance delay value of 57%, line efficiency 43%, smoothness index 1326.95 and the number of work elements 19 and work stations 5. This research was conducted aimed at correcting the imbalance problems that exist within the company using the method line balancing which is the moodie young method. With the application of the moodie young method, improvements were obtained with 28% balance delay, 72% line efficiency, 659.36 smoothness index and 19 work elements and work stations 3. Thus the moodie young method can be used to improve production lines at PT. SUKORINTEX

Abstract

This study focuses on the Analysis of Inventory Systems at the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) BALAI YASA PT. KAI Tegal. This UPT has the duty as the person in charge of maintenance of the PT KAI train and car information system in the Central Java area. In this UPT the inventory and maintenance records of spare parts are still manual and not yet integrated so that the history of the use of spare parts is not well-databaseed, Technical Service Requests for Maintenance of IT (Information Technology) units are still done verbally and have not been well documented so that daily reports are not real and not real neat. This UPT has not determined the optimal number of orders, the number of safety stock and reorder points as important variables in the inventory system. Application of information systems in the company's business activities is one way for business activities to run faster, more precisely, and efficiently. The design of an inventory system improvement is to determine the optimal order quantity, safety stock (SS), and reorder point (ROP). In addition, the inventory feature is also equipped with a menu of incoming goods, items out and standby calculations, which makes it easy for IT units to monitor the condition of existing safety stock.

Abstract

PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of furniture, which produces chairs and tables. The main raw materials for the manufacture of this product are aluminum, woven materials, fabrics and foam. These raw materials come from both foreign and domestic suppliers. The problems that often occur at PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia, namely in terms of raw materials, prices, quality, and delays when the delivery process does not match. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance evaluation of suppliers on aluminum raw materials, so that the company can find out which supplier has the best performance. There are several criteria and sub-criteria at PT. Idelux Furniture Indonesia, namely the criteria for quality, cost, delivery, flexibility and responsivenees as well as sub-criteria for the quality of raw materials, completeness of certificates, raw material prices, bill payment periods, on time delivery, accuracy in quantity or quantity of raw materials sent, fulfillment of requests for changes in the amount of raw materials ordered, changes in delivery time, response to changes in delivery schedules and suppliers respond to quality problems. From the calculation and weighting of suppliers against 5 criteria and 10 sub-criteria based on the Vendor Performance Indicator approach, it is found that PT. A has the highest value, namely 2.51 then PT. B with a value of 1.65 and the lowest is PT. C 0.83.

Abstract

Semen Gresik Tbk is one of a company engaged in manufacturing which produces cement located in Rembang regency. In the production process, there is a potential related to the risk of work accidents from minor accident to serious accident. This is an obstacle to smooth running of the production process. In term of the company experiencing losses due to human casualities, property and hampering productivity due to the number of lost work days. With the problem experienced, it requires a structured identification, measurement and handling of risks to reduce losses from risks. One method relation to the risk manajement is Multi Attribute Failure Mode Analysis (MAFMA) as an effort to reduce losses due to critical risks that could potentially occur in the cemment production process. The MAFMA method is the development of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method which is used to determine the causes of potential failures by adding economic or cost factors to the risk assessment using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that the highest risk is the risk of falling from a height with a total risk of 0,108 and the risk of being electrocuted with a total risk of 0,091.

Abstract

This paper studies the design of business system model with System Modeling Approach on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) of furniture. Methods used consists of five phases: phase of identification of business processes actual on SMEs of Furniture, phase of identification of deficiencies and improvement of business processes, phase of design algorithm and flowchart business processes, phase of analysis of the elements of the system, and phase of the design of data flow diagram (DFD), The results of the analysis of the elements of the system are: Products and quantities ordered product consumers and DP paid by consumers identified as elements of system inputs 1,2 and 3. The result of the calculation, payment slips and mail order (SO) are identified as elements of system output 1, 2 and 3. Acceptance of orders, stocks checking of raw materials at the warehouse, calculating raw material requirements, adequacy of raw materials, the price of the contract, and the due date, as well as the submission of the results of calculations to consumers were identified as elements of system components 1, 2, 3, and 4. Admin taking orders, Admin check stocks of raw materials at the warehouse, Admin making calculation, and Admin convey the results of calculations to consumers were identified as an element of interaction system 1, 2, 3, and 4. Consumers were identified as element of environmental systems. Moreover, the boundary between SMEs and consumers were identified as elements of the system boundary.

Abstract

CV. Aneka Kulit adalah salah satu produsen yang bergerak di bidang kulit sapi dan kulit hewan lainnya yang terletak di Tahunan Jepara, Jawa Tengah dan sudah berdiri selama 11 tahun. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada CV. Aneka Kulit yaitu terjadi penurunan penjualan di sebabkan karena Persaingan usaha sejenis dan Kurangnya promosi pada CV. Aneka Kulit. Penentuan strategi pemasaran dengan menggunakan metode SWOT menghasilkan alternatif strategi pemasaran yaitu strength opportunity (SO). Sedangkan penentuan strategi pemasaran dengan menggunakan Metode AHP menghasilkan strategi adalah (SO3), (SO4), (SO5), dengan bobot 0,27,0,27,0,27 sehingga strategi pemasaran yang terpilih untuk diterapkan pada CV. Aneka Kulit yaitu (SO3), (SO4), (SO5) yaitu Mempertahankan kualitas produk, Menambah karyawan untuk bagian promosi, menambah karyawan untuk mengolah limbah kulit.

Abstract

CV. Griya Serasi Produkutama merupakan perusahaan dibidang advertising. Perusahaan ini memiliki 9 karyawan, dibagian indoor dan outdoor, pada proses produksinya karyawan dituntut melakukan semua proses produksi secara bersamaan dan tidak terpaku pada satu proses produksi saja. Kondisi ini menyebabkan karyawan mengalami beban mental dan fisik berlebih karena melebihi jam kerja normal. Selain itu karyawan mengalami tekanan sampai kewalahan jika terjadi lonjakan pesanan secara tiba-tiba dikarenakan adanya event tertentu yang bersamaan dengan adanya proses produksi lainnya. Hal itu akan menimbulkan kelelahan berlebih dan akan mengganggu kesehatan. Beban kerja yang diukur adalah beban kerja mental dan fisik untuk mengetahui beban mental pada karyawan diukur dengan metode NASA-TLX dan beban kerja fisik diukur menggunakan metode CVL. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut analisa metode NASA-TLX memiliki rata-rata beban kerja mental 69,68% kategori sedang. Terdapat satu karyawan mempunyai WWL berat > 80 % yaitu Mamat 83,13%. Hasil analisa CVL diperoleh rata-rata 19,87% kategori tidak terjadi kelelahan. Dan dua karyawan diperlukan perbaikan yaitu Aris 36,48% CVL dan Budi 32,10% CVL. Berdasarkan analisa peneliti mengusulkan makanan nutrisi, peningkatan semangat kerja memberikan pelatihan, pemberian reward tiap bulannya. meningkatkan skill, memperhatikan kesehatan dengan memberikan check-up minimal satu kali dalam setahun.

Abstract

A manufacturing company engaged in the manufacturing of diesel engines in Indonesia has a problem with high downtime. The most frequent replacement frequency is in the cylinder liner line which in April - June 2018 has 1254 units of replacements, besides that the cylinder liner line also has the highest downtime of 7243.94 minutes. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to schedule tool replacement using the Age Replacement method, where this method is to determine the tool replacement schedule with the least downtime. After that the calculation is done using the Availability method, where the higher the Availability value of a tool, the better the condition of the tool to operate according to its function. And finally the calculation is done using the Reliability method, where the higher the value of the reliability of a tool, the less likely the damage will occur to the tool.
