Abstract

Salah satu pembudidaya sayuran hidroponik di kabupaten Jepara Bapak Ryan Arfian dengan usahanya yang bernama Bagus Hydrofarm (Mitra) memiliki permasalahan di bidang kapasitas produksi yang rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan mitra hanya mempunyai 800 titik tanam dewasa. Proses produksi sayuran hidroponik juga masih rendah karena belum adanya kontrol kualitas pada hasil produksinya. Permasalahan tersebut muncul karena belum adanya pengetahuan mitra mengenai proses produksi dan kontrol kualitas yang cukup dan baik. Selain itu juga disebabkan oleh belum adanya alat untuk mengetahui kandungan nutrisi pada air dan belum adanya alat ukur kelembaban dan suhu. Managemen usaha pada mitra juga masih dikelola secara sederhana dan kekeluargaan.untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, metode yang digunakan antara lain sosialisasi, pendampingan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil peningkatan manfaat dari program kemitraan wilayah ini adalah peningkatan kapasitas produksi sebesar 17,5%, peningkatan pengetahuan cara budidaya sayuran hidroponik sebesar 100%, peningkatan aset berupa alat ukur PH dan TDS sebesar 100%, peningkatan aset berupa alat pengukur suhu dan kelembaban sebesar 100%, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang manajemen usaha yang baik sebesar 100%.

Abstract

Produksi yang terus menerus menyebabkan mesin-mesin bekerja tanpa henti yang mengakibatkan risiko penurunan produktivitas mesin di PT. TJB Power Services. Perusahaan tersebut merupakan perusahaan Operation and Maintenance PLTU Tanjung Jati B Unit 1 dan 2. Secara umum proses produksi dimulai dari penggilingan batubara yang digunakan untuk bahan bakar memanaskan air menjadi uap kering yang dialirkan ke turbin untuk menggerakkan generator yang menghasilkan listrik. Pada tahun 2018 tingkat Equivalent Availibility Factor (EAF) Unit 1 sebesar 89,45% dan Unit 2 sebesar 93,76% yang semula targetnya 100%. Sedangkan tahun 2019 Unit 1 meningkat menjadi 95,60% dan Unit 2 mengalami penurunan menjadi 88,12%. Fokus penelitian ini pada penggilingan batu bara di mesin pulverizer unit 2 karena mengalami penurunan tingkat availibility dan merupakan mesin yang kritis dalam proses produksi yang akan mempengaruhi produktivitas secara keseluruhan. Berdasarkan analisa RCM II pada tahap FMEA diperoleh nilai RPN tertinggi pada equipment coal pipe dan pyrite. Setelah dianalisa dengan fishbone diagram diperoleh akar penyebab kegagalan antara lain udara primer dan udara luar mengandung kadar air laut dan tidak dilapisi anti karat mengakibatkan korosi, benda asing yang menumpuk dan tidak terfilter di silo serta kurang perawatan.

Abstract

Based on Trans Semarang Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) traffic accident data, it is known that the Trans Semarang BRT still often experiences traffic accidents. Corridor I Trans Semarang with the Mangkang-Penggaron route service area is the Corridor with the highest accident rate compared to other corridors. The high number of accidents occurs because of human error. To solve these problems, in this study using the HEART and SHERPA methods. The HEART method is used to find out what activities constitute critical activities that have the potential to cause accidents and also the probability of human error for each critical activity. Then the SHERPA method is used to strengthen the answers of the HEART method and also to determine recommendations for improvement to fix the existing problem. After conducting research and data processing using the HEART and SHERPA methods, it is known that sub-task 6.4 be careful when driving is a sub-task with the highest probability of human error is 0.549. Furthermore, the subtask was given recommendations for improvement in the form of zero accident socialization to all BRT Corridor I Trans Semarang drivers and to make a particular lane for BRT, especially Corridor I so that the road is separated from other private or public vehicles.

Abstract

Semen Gresik Tbk is one of a company engaged in manufacturing which produces cement located in Rembang regency. In the production process, there is a potential related to the risk of work accidents from minor accident to serious accident. This is an obstacle to smooth running of the production process. In term of the company experiencing losses due to human casualities, property and hampering productivity due to the number of lost work days. With the problem experienced, it requires a structured identification, measurement and handling of risks to reduce losses from risks. One method relation to the risk manajement is Multi Attribute Failure Mode Analysis (MAFMA) as an effort to reduce losses due to critical risks that could potentially occur in the cemment production process. The MAFMA method is the development of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method which is used to determine the causes of potential failures by adding economic or cost factors to the risk assessment using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that the highest risk is the risk of falling from a height with a total risk of 0,108 and the risk of being electrocuted with a total risk of 0,091.

Abstract

AbstractHoney extractor is a tool used by farmers group “Bunga Alam Lestari”, Batang Regency to squeeze honey from the honeycomb which has been harvested. The tool owned by the farmers is categorized simple. It is operated manually, therefore the extortion process of honeycomb takes a long time. The tool design is not ergonomic yet since the farmers have to pour the honey manually into the collecting bucket. The farmers also have to move the honey extractor from one farm to another farm during the production period. Researchers improved the existing tools referring to ergonomics concept which is collaborating between manual frame and electric motor (hybrid), increasing the number of frames from 2 to 10, creating mechanism of frame rotating termination (braking), adding of transferal tools,and improving the mechanism of the flow of honey without reversing the tool to pour the honey. The test results of the new tool show improvement of the tools performance, specifically it takes only 180 second for one extortion which producing 16.75 kg of honey. The equipment owned by the farmers needs 360 seconds for one extortion time resulting of 3.35 kg honey.Abstrak Ekstraktor madu merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk memeras sarang madu yang telah dihasilkan oleh lebah yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Pengembangan desain dan pembuatan ekstraktor madu ini merupakan perbaikan dari alat yang dimiliki oleh Kelompok Petani Bunga Alam Lestari Kabupaten Batang. Alat yang dimiliki petani memiliki kekurangan antara lain : masih manual, tidak ergonomis, waktu pemerasan sarang madu lama dengan hasil madu yang sedikit, susah dalam pemindahan alat tersebut. Peneliti melakukan perbaikan alat yang ada dengan merujuk pada konsep ergonomi, mengkolaborasikan pemutar frame antara manual dan motor listrik (hybrid), menambah jumlah frame dari 2 menjadi 10, membuat mekanisme penghentian putaran frame (pengereman), penambahan pemindah alat, memperbaiki mekanisme aliran madu hasil pemerasan. Hasil pengujian terhadap alat yang peneliti buat satu kali proses pemerasan dibutuhkan waktu 180 detik dengan menghasilkan 16.75 kg madu sedangkan alat yang dimiliki petani waktu pemerasan 360 detik dengan madu yang dihasilkan 3.35 kg. Jadi dapat dikatakan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk satu kali pemerasan 50% lebih cepat dengan volume berat madu 5 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan alat yang dimiliki petani.

Abstract

There are many of food processing of raw materials are still using a separate tools of coconut grater and squeezer, which causes a long production process. Basically the grater machines on the market only can be used to scrape away the coconut meat. While the tool for extracting the coconut milk is still using coconut sieve and squeezed by hand. The Research initiated with a survey into traditional markets and entrepreneurs of coconut grater services around Semarang. The survey aimed to identify the tools used in the market and the needs of potential users. The survey obtained data of customer’s need that will be used as a reference for developing the concept of making tools. Anthropometric data needed to design the dimensions of the tool, with the purpose of the tool made will be ergonomics and comfortable to be used by the operator. Grater and Squeezer of Coconut Milk Tool which designed has dimensions of 105 cm height and 74 cm width. It has parts: the framework, grater, bleeder screw, motor, gear box, water container, and a pulley / wheel.

Abstract

Madu memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang sangat lengkap yang terdiri dari gula dan enzim kompleks yang memungkinkan terjadinya reaksi biokimia. Penurunan kadar air madu merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah terjadinya fermentasi. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode dehumidifikasi untuk melihat pengaruhnya terhadap penurunan kadar air madu klanceng. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi parameter suhu, luas penampang dan waktu terhadap penurunan kadar air madu. Hasil penelitian dianalisa menggunakan regresi linear dan didapat penurunan kadar air sebesar 0,1% untuk setiap kenaikan suhu dehumidifikasi sebesar 1 °C, penurunan kadar air sebesar 0,0083% untuk setiap peningkatan luas penampang sebesar 1 cm2, dan penurunan kadar air sebesar 0,0167% untuk setiap kenaikan waktu proses selama 1 menit.

Abstract

Abstrack -  PT. Pijar Sukma is a furniture industry company, located in Jepara, Central Java. PT. Pijar Sukma is having problems that customer order requests cannot be fulfilled according to production targets. So companies need tools that can measure performance. This research uses the performance prism method which involves stakeholders so that they can form the sides of the prism, namely satisfaction, contribution, strategy, process, and capability. From these methods used to compile key performance indicators (KPIs), 30 KPIs were produced based on satisfaction and contributions in the design that had been prepared, there were 10 strategic KPIs, 10 process KPIs, and 10 capability KPIs that were weighted through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, then scored using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method. OMAX to provide an actual value with a score of 1-10 on each KPI and the traffic light system as a color assignment, namely green means very good / the target is maximally appropriate, yellow is quite good / the target has not reached the maximum, and red means bad / the target has not been maximized . The results of the processing and calculation show that the company's performance index value of 2.836 is categorized as red with an actual value of 3.00, meaning the company has achieved the performance measurement plan but has not reached the set target so that the company can maintain good performance and make changes to poor performance by improving performance in red. Key words: Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Performance Prism, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Objective Matrix (OMAX), and Traffic Light System.

Abstract

PT. Bawen Mediatama merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur dibidang percetakan dibawah Kompas Gramedia Group yang berlokasi di Bawen, Jawa Tengah. Dengan bertambahnya order cetakan dalam proses produksi berlanjut, para operator mengalami kelelahan sebelum melakukan pekerjaan utamanya untuk memproduksi koran kompas beserta cetakan lainnya. Sebelum melakukan pekerjaan utama, operator perlu mengerjakan perkerjaan post press dahulu yang berkaitan dengan menghitung produk, mengontrol hasil, dan jumlah target hasil yang didapatkan. Dengan banyaknya pekerjaan yang dialami para operator dan jumlah operator yang sedikit menyebabkan target menjadi tidak tercapai. Meskipun pekerjaan secara fisik tidak begitu berat karena mesin bersifat semi-otomatis, namun karena pekerjaan yang dilakukan sangat banyak dan target yang seringkali tidak tercapai, hal tersebut membuat para operator mengalami beban kerja mental. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan penelitian terkait analisis beban kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode NASA-Tlx serta RSME dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang berisikan indikator beban kerja mental kepada para operator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan indikator beban kerja mental metode NASA-TLX yang dominan yaitu kebutuhan mental sebesar 21%, lalu diikuti oleh usaha fisik dan mental sebesar 17%, kebutuhan fisik, kebutuhan waktu, performansi sebesar 16% dan tingkat stress sebesar 15%. Sedangkan variabel usaha beban kerja mental pada metode RSME yang besar dilakukan operator mesin cetak web yaitu beban kerja, performansi kerja, dan usaha mental kerja sebesar 18%, diikuti kelelahan kerja sebesar 17%, kesulitan kerja sebesar 15% dan kelelahan kerja sebesar 13%. Usulan perbaikan yang diberikan yaitu sistem peningkatan semangat kerja pada para operator, pembagian operator jika ada pekerjaan post press, melakukan upaya penambahan karyawan pada operator mesin cetak web agar mampu mengurangi beban kerja mental pada operator mesin cetak web, pemberian alat bantu kerja untuk mempermudahkan operator dalam bekerja, serta menciptakan suasana kerja yang nyaman yang diharapkan operator tidak merasa bosan, menaikkan performansi kerja dan menumbuhkan rasa solidaritas antara operator. Kata Kunci : Beban  Kerja Mental, NASA-TLX, RSME, Indikator, Operator Mesin Cetak Web

Abstract

PT NCS LOGISTIC LINK is a Transportation Management Service company or commonly called Freight Forwarding.  PT.  NCS is also engaged in the rental of Warehouses. In the Warehouse at PT NCS LOGISTIC LINK, there is a problem with the layout of the storage of goods in the Warehouse which is still not optimal because the cost of Material Handling in the company is still high and also PT NCS LOGISTIC LINK, a company that manages warehouse rental for companies  manufacture.  The problems faced by PT NCS LOGISTIC LINK today are the problems that are often faced is the handling of incoming and outgoing goods in the company's warehouse, the company still does not have a defined system, so that the placement of goods in the warehouse is not neatly arranged so that the warehouse seems narrow.  Likewise, the warehouse line or line layout is not clear, the placement of finished goods for both export and local products is placed in one location with the material (Completely Knock Down / CKD) in one warehouse location, there is no barrier between the goods belonging to one customer and another.  other things, goods are placed to close the road area or forklift lanes and warehouse doors, and goods that have entered earlier are closed with new incoming goods, thus hampering the process of handling goods.  With limited storage space, companies are required to use space effectively and efficiently so that storage activities are not hampered and can find the best layout that is more effective and efficient and does not hamper the delivery process.  The method used in warehousing management is a shared storage approach in which the products that have the most shipping frequency and the ones that frequently go in and out are brought close to the entrance to minimize the distance of material handling movement.  The results of the shared storage approach can minimize the material handling distance of the proposed layout is 1386 m, while the previous condition, the initial layout distance was 1900 m. Has a total range of 514 meters of total mileage. This means that the layout of the proposal could shorten the mileage through which warehouse workers take goods.
