Abstract

Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) began to enter Indonesia in March 2020. The spread of this virus was massive in July with the highest case on July 15, 2021. So far, cases have started to decline because the discipline of health protocols has begun to be applied, and most Indonesians have received the Covid-19 vaccine. The growth of Covid-19 had a major impact and became an obstacle to Indonesia's economic growth, especially the Micro and Small Industry (MSI). According to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) there are 50% of Small and Medium Industries went bankrupt due to Covid-19 because turnover has decreased by 40% - 70%. In the Covid-19 pandemic situation, Product Branding can be offered to MSI as one of the solutions to problems to achieve economic resilience. The Community Partnership Program is expected to be able to contribute to solving the problems faced by IMK in Sorong, namely "competitor constraints" and "marketing constraints". In relation to competitor constraints and marketing constraints, MSI is expected to be able to market products easily and be able to compete. For this reason, product branding insight is needed. In this case, MSI actors need to be equipped with product branding insights, so that they can sell their products easily, precisely in booking, easy to recognize their products, and customer loyalty. For this reason, product branding skills need to be socialized to improve the quality of MSI Actors' Human Resources. Based on evaluation results, in general the initial knowledge related to product branding is good, with the lowest score for the pretest 54 and the highest score being 70. Meanwhile, in the posttest score there was a significant increase in the value, with the lowest score being 73 and the highest score reaching 95.

Abstract

Beauty Advisor performance assessment is essential in the beauty industry, maintaining high service standards and increasing customer satisfaction. The researchers developed a decision support system in this study to assess the Beauty Advisor's optimal performance. The system utilized multiple criteria with varying weights for each evaluation. The Composite Performance Index (CPI) is a method used to assess assessments with several stages, greatly influenced by the weights given. The CPI method's calculation process has several stages, including matrix calculation, score matrix calculation, and ranking determination. The final results on the website display a ranking from highest to lowest. The system created based on the success rate with manual calculation results compared to the system calculation results has an accuracy rate of 82%.

Abstract

Sistem Informasi Data Pegawai Dan Detail Cuti Berbasis Website adalah aplikasi yang membantu pengguna mendapat informasi data pegawai dan melakukan detail cuti secara online melalui platform web. Sistem ini memberikan solusi efisien dalam mengelola data pegawai dan detail cuti. Pengguna dapat dengan mudah memasukkan data dan mengisi form untuk melihat detail cuti melalui antarmuka web. Setelah memasukkan data yang diminta di formulir data pegawai dan mengisi formulir cuti. Admin bertanggung jawab atas sistem, mengelola data pegawai dan data detail cuti serta memberikan persetujuan atau penolakan berdasarkan pertimbangan lainnya. Dengan Sistem Informasi Data Pegawai dan Detail Cuti Berbasis Website, diharapkan Kantor DPPPAKB Kabupaten Jember dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dalam proses pencatatan cuti dan juga data data pegawai yang ada di kantor.

Abstract

Semakin berkembangnya masyarakat informasi, kebutuhan akan informasi yang cepat dan efektif menjadi sangat penting demi kemajuan suatu instansi maupun sekolah. Seperti halnya yang terjadi pada SMK 4 Pancasila Ambulu, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi belum dimanfaatkan seefektif mungkin. Sistem informasi tentang profil sekolah dan segala informasi sekolah yang ada saat ini masih bersifat manual yaitu menggunakan spanduk, papan pengumuman dan surat. Secara tidak langsung hal tersebut menjadi salah satu kendala dalam sarana promosi SMK 4 Pancasila Ambulu sebagai salah satu sekolah Kesehatan menengah di wilayah Jember selatan. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada, maka dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang digagas oleh Dosen dan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember ini bertujuan untuk mendapingi pembuatan sebuah aplikasi berbasis website. Adapun sistem yang dibangun adalah Profil SMK 4 Pancasila Ambulu Berbasis Web Menggunakan PHP MYSQL Untuk Sarana Promosi.

Abstract

PCM Bangsalsari saat ini masih belum mengembangkan metode dakwah dengan cara digital sehingga penyampaian dakwah hanya dapat dirasakan oleh warga yang hadir secara langsung dalam mengikuti kajian atau kegiatan yang lingkupnya sangat terbatas. Selain belum dikembangkannya media digital, PCM Bangsalsari belum memiliki sumber daya yang dapat mendukung sarana dakwah secara digital. Sumber daya dimaksud mencakup kemampuan dan pengetahuan anggota dalam mengelola konten dakwah secara digital. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan pengembangan sarana dakwah berbasis digital agar penyampaian dakwah dapat dilakukan secara global. Tujuan program pengabdian ini adalah tim pengabdian Unmuh Jember akan mengembangkan media sosial sebagai sarana dakwah berbasis digital dan memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan media sosial bagi PCM Bangsalsari sebagai mitra. Dalam hal ini, platform yang akan digunakan adalah media sosial Instagram, Facebook, dan Youtube. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian ini dimulai dari persiapan, pembuatan social media sebagai sarana dakwah berbasis digital, dan pelatihan pengelolaan konten dakwah digital. Menghasilkan pengabdian bahwa Tim PKM dapat mengembangkan dakwah berbasis digital dengan memanfaatkan sosial media meliputi: instagram, facebook, dan youtube. Sehingga PCM Bangsalsari saat ini telah memiliki akun resmi sosial media. Serta meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan sumber daya manusia dalam mengelola konten sosial media sebagai sarana dakwah berbasis digital.

Abstract

General Background: Public service innovation represents a vital element in strengthening governance effectiveness, particularly within regional early warning systems. Specific Background: In Banyuwangi Regency, the Sistem Deteksi Dini Kewaspadaan Daerah (SIDEDIWASDA) application aims to digitalize conflict vigilance reporting, yet disparities in operator performance persist due to limited social support and engagement. Knowledge Gap: Despite studies linking social support and work engagement to performance, few have examined Innovation Work Behavior (IWB) as a mediating factor within technology-based governance settings. Aims: This study investigates the direct and indirect effects of social support and work engagement on operator performance, with IWB as a mediator. Results: Using data from 124 respondents analyzed via SEM–WarpPLS, findings reveal that social support (β=0.298; p=0.001) and work engagement (β=0.249; p=0.001) significantly enhance performance, both directly and through IWB (β=0.346; p=0.001). Novelty: The study introduces an integrated behavioral model linking psychological and innovative aspects of operators within a public-sector digital system. Implications: These results highlight the importance of continuous capacity-building and teamwork culture to optimize digital governance implementation and elevate civic service quality. Highlights: IWB mediates the link between social support and performance. SEM–WarpPLS confirms all variables significantly influence outcomes. Abstract

Financial literacy, digital information literacy, and digital financial literacy are essential competencies for young adults in rural Jawa to navigate dynamic economic and technological challenges. This study aims to explore literacy profiles among young adults using cluster analysis. A quantitative method was employed through a survey of 135 respondents from rural areas, followed by cluster analysis to identify distinctive literacy patterns The results reveal five distinct literacy profile classes with unique characteristics. The "Tech Savvy" group demonstrates high digital literacy but low financial literacy, while the "Financial Ace" group excels in financial literacy but requires improvement in digital literacy, along with three other groups exhibiting various combinations of strengths and weaknesses. These findings indicate the need for comprehensive and age-appropriate literacy programs to address the specific needs of each group. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of targeted educational approaches to enhance financial and digital literacy among young adults in rural Java

Abstract

The sharia investment industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly along with public awareness of sharia-compliant investments. This study aims to understand the factors that influence stock portfolio decisions and the behavior of novice Muslim investors. For this purpose, data will be collected on financial literacy, tenure, gender, and risk perceptions intervened by religion using a questionnaire. Meanwhile, to collect data on portfolio decisions, a semi-experimental approach will be used which will produce sharia Sharpe ratio values. Cluster analysis is conducted to identify patterns in the data. This analysis helps in understanding the relationship between investor attributes and their stock portfolio decisions. In addition, this analysis can also help researchers identify groups of investors who have similar investment behavior. The results of this study can provide a deeper understanding of the factors that influence stock portfolio decisions and the behavior of novice Muslim investors. The results of this study can be useful for investors, investment managers, and capital market regulators.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy and locus of control on employee performance with OCB as an intervening variable (case study at the Jember Regency Transportation Service). Method: This research uses the Explanatory Research type. The population in this study were all employees of the Jember Regency Transportation Service, totaling 202 employees. Researchers used a saturated sample method where all members of the population were sampled. The data analysis method used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Results: The research results show that the higher Self Efficacy will increase Performance, the higher Locus of Control will increase Performance, the higher Self Efficacy will increase OCB, the higher Locus of Control will increase OCB, and the higher OCB will increase Performance. Novelty: Self Efficacy has a positive and significant impact on structural employee performance through OCB. Locus of Control has a positive and significant impact on structural employee performance through Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the decision to purchase second-hand clothing (thrifting) through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach that focuses on psychological, social, economic, and environmental aspects to provide a more holistic understanding of the thrifting phenomenon in Indonesia. Method: This research was conducted using the SLR approach based on the guidelines of Kitchenham and Charters (2007). A total of 20 journals published in the last 5 years with a focus on second-hand clothing purchasing decisions were selected through an online searching on Google Scholar. The research involved the stages of planning, implementation, and reporting, with article selection based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: The results showed that second-hand clothing purchasing decisions were influenced by environmental awareness, social media trends, lifestyle orientation, and product quality and affordable price factors. Social media has become an important platform in driving consumer interest in thrifting, while sustainability aspects are increasingly becoming a major consideration in purchasing. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the application of the SLR approach to explore second-hand clothing purchasing decisions with a primary focus on the Indonesian context. This research provides theoretical contributions on the integration of psychological, social, and environmental factors, while also offering strategic insights for thrifting entrepreneurs in Indonesia to develop evidence-based marketing strategies. This research is expected to be a primary reference in the literature on sustainable consumerism.
