Abstract

The objective of this research was to find the optimal combination of soil loosening timing and liquid organic fertilizer dosage to enhance the yield of Lembah Palu shallot variety. The study was conducted in Kayumalue Ngapa village, Central Sulawesi, from November 2019 to January 2020. A two-factorial randomized block design was employed. The first factor was the soil loosening time: loosening at 1, 3, 5 weeks after planting and loosening at 2, 4, 6 weeks after planting. The second factor was the application of liquid organic fertilizer: 150 ml/ha, 300 ml/ha, and 450 ml/ha. The findings revealed that the interaction between soil loosening time and liquid organic fertilizer dosage significantly affected the plant height parameter. Particularly, loosening the soil at 1, 3, 5 weeks after planting along with a 150 ml/ha dose of liquid organic fertilizer produced higher plant height. Moreover, the soil loosening time of 1, 3, 5 weeks after planting resulted in improved plant height, tuber diameter, and fresh tuber weight. Similarly, the liquid organic fertilizer of 150 ml/ha demonstrated positive effects on plant height.

Abstract

This research was conducted to improve the learning process that has been carried out by teachers in delivering learning material which still uses conventional learning models which results in a bored learning atmosphere and students are not motivated in learning which ultimately causes low student learning outcomes, especially in biology lessons. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of a team games tournament model learning tool assisted by question card media on reproductive system material in high school. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) or research and development with 5 stages, namely stages; potential and problems, gathering information, product design, design validation, and design revision. The products produced in this research are learning tools in the form of RPP, LKPD, and Powerpoint media as well as Question card media. The research results show that the validated learning tools are declared valid, this is because the average statement has a value above the validity standard set by researchers in accordance with Aiken's V calculation rules, namely that each item V ≥ 0.87. For RPP the average statement value is 0.93, for LKPD the average statement value is 0.92, for PPT the average statement value is 0.93. And for media Question cards, the average statement value is 0.95. From the results obtained, it can be stated that the learning tools developed are feasible and can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Sales through e-commerce and direct selling have become two methods commonly used in the automotive industry to market and sell auto parts. However, there is still a paucity of research investigating the differences between these two methods, particularly in the context of aquarius Motor auto parts. Aquarius Motor is a micro, small and medium enterprise. This study aims to determine the differences in sales via e-commerce and direct selling of Aquarius Motor car parts. This study used a quantitative research method with a purposive sampling technique in collecting questionnaire data from customers of Aquarius motor car parts as many as 84 respondents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh dosis pupuk kendang dan konsentrasi EM4 terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung pulut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Pusungi, Kecamatan Ampana Tete, Kabupaten Tojo Una-Una pada bulan September sampai November 2021. Berdasarkan data BPS, roduksi Jagung di Sulawesi Tengah pada tahun 2015 sebesar 13.123 ton dengan luas panen 32.503 ha dengan tiga Kabupaten sebagai centra produksi, yaitu Sigi, Parigi Moutong dan Tojo Una-Una. Adapun Produksi Jagung tahun 2010 dan 2013 masing-masing 162.306 ton dan 139.265 ton dengan luas panen 42.747 dan 34.174 ha. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) pola factorial. Faktor pertama pertama yaitu berbagai jenis pupuk kendang, terdiri 3 taraf P1 = Pupuk kendang ayam, P2 = pupuk kendang kambing, P3 = pupuk kendang sapi, dan factor kedua yaitu M0 = 0 ml/liter, M1 = 15 ml/liter (21 liter/ha), M2 = 30 ml/liter (40 liter/ha). Hasil penelitian menujukkan pemberian pupuk kandang kambing disertai konsentrasi EM4 sebanyak 15 ml.1-1 cenderung lebih baik pengaruhnya di tandai dengan tongkol yang Panjang dan besar sehingga lebih berat.

Abstract

Phenotypic characters in crossed plants is very important to find out the success of a cross and the differences in characters between one type and another. The purpose of this study was to identify and determine the best phenotypic characters resulting from crosses of maize plants in the F4 generation. This research was carried out on agricultural land in Oloboju Village (Bulu Pontu Jaya SP2), at an altitude of 176 meters above sea level, with a latitude of 1ᵒ00'21" South Latitude and 119ᵒ56'50.49" North Latitude. Sigi Biromaru District, Sigi Regency. The study started from February to July 2020. This study was structured using a randomized block design with five maize cultivars from F3 crosses as treatments, namely: purple corn cultivar, dominant yellow: purple, white dominant purple, purple dominant white, and purple dominant yellow which was repeated five times to obtain 25 experimental plots. The observed variables were: plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, age at which male flowers were released, age at which female flowers were released, age at harvest, cob length, cob diameter, number of cob seeds, percentage of color, and weight of 100 seeds. The research data were analyzed using ovarian analysis, which was followed by the HSD test at the 1% level. The results showed that purple corn cultivars had the best phenotypic characteristics, namely, plant height reached 226.55 cm, cob diameter reached 40.95 mm, cob length reached 15.05 cm, color percentage reached 70.39%, number of cob seeds reached 411 .70 seeds and has a slightly fluffier texture and a slightly less sweet taste until it is quite sweet.

Abstract

Produksi salak pondoh yang dihasilkan oleh Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah tidak mencukupi kebutuhan, terdapat permasalahan pada input produksi berupa pupuk yang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal menyebabkan ketidakseimbangan unsur hara dalam tanah. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam mengatasi masalah ini yaitu penggunaan pupuk kandang ayam selain harganya yang relatif murah, pupuk kandang juga mudah ditemukan dan dapat digunakan pada berbagai komoditas tanaman. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk kandang ayam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit salak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Agronomi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tadulako Palu Sulawesi Tengah pada Bulan Maret hingga Mei 2023. Manfaat penelitian yaitu memberikan bahan informasi kepada peneliti dan masyarakat khususnya petani sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam mengembangkan budidaya tanaman salak dengan memanfaatkan pupuk kandang ayam. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) satu faktor terdiri dari 5 taraf dan diulang sebanyak 5 kali, perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu pupuk kandang ayam dengan dosis 0 ton/ha, 2 ton/ha (100 g/polybag), 4 ton/ha (200 g/polybag), 6 ton/ha (300 g/polybag) dan 8 ton/ha (400 g/polybag). Hasil pengujian sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk kandang ayam 8 ton/ha berpengaruh nyata meningkatkan pertambahan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang akar dan berat kering.

Abstract

Infrastruktur kelautan seperti fasilitas dan kapal sangat penting di Indonesia karena posisinya sebagai negara maritim. Kayu untuk tujuan infrastruktur kelautan ini umumnya bersumber dari hutan alam, sehingga perlu ada alternatif dari hutan tanaman untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan kayunya. Kayu nangka dari hutan rakyat dipilih sebagai objek penelitian ini karena adalah jenis kayu yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Kayak ini dipilih karena memiliki keawetan yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi serangan marine borer terhadap kayu nangka pada berbagai kedalaman laut dan menentukan sifat fisis mekanis kayu setelah direndam di laut. Penelitian dilakukan di Pulau Rambut, dengan contoh uji 24 buah berukuran 30 cm x 5 cm x 2,5 cm. Semua contoh uji disusun dengan tali tambang dan direndam di laut selama tiga bulan pada kedalaman 5 cm di atas permukaan laut, serta 10 cm dan 42 cm di bawah permukaan laut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa contoh uji yang disusun pada kedalaman 5 cm di atas permukaan laut sangat tahan terhadap marine borer, dan contoh uji yang disusun pada kedalaman 10 cm dan 42 cm di bawah permukaan laut tahan terhadap marine borer. Nilai MOE untuk kontrol adalah 79994 kg/cm2 dan turun menjadi 48714 kg/cm2 setelah direndam di laut; MOR adalah 1329 kg/cm2 untuk kontrol dan turun menjadi 672 kg/cm2 setelah direndam di laut. Berat kayu kontrol adalah 0,55, tetapi beratnya sedikit turun menjadi 0,51 setelah direndam di laut. Nilai mekanis MOE dan MOR antara contoh uji kontrol dan setelah direndam berbeda nyata. Namun, kedalaman perendaman contoh uji tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai mekanisnya.

Abstract

Tanaman sawi (Brassica juncea L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas sayuran yang memiliki nilai komersial dan prospek yang baik selain itu tanaman sawi termasuk jenis sayuran yang mudah diperoleh. Sawi hijau sangat berpotensi sebagai penyedia unsur-unsur mineral penting dibutuhkan oleh tubuh karena nilai gizinya tinggi, sawi terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu sawi putih dan sawi hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan konsentrasi pupuk organik cair (POC) yang meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Screen House, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Tadulako, Palu Sulawesi Tengah. Pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan Konsentrasi Pupuk Organik Cair yang terdiri dari 6 taraf perlakuan yaitu Tanpa POC, 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6%, 0,8%, 1,0%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik cair Nasa dan tanpa perlakuan POC Nasa memberikan perbedaan yang nyata terhahap tinggi tanaman, jumlah dan luas daun , berat basah dan berat kering, volume akar tanaman.
