Abstract

Understanding of financial literacy needs to be constantly improved in order to create opportunities for financial transactions in the banking world. Financial literacy education for the community plays an important role in banking because financial literacy will help the community in good financial management to avoid financial problems. Corona Virus 19 has an impact on the banking sector due to restrictions. The aim is to determine the effect of financial literacy on people's interest in using banking products. The population of this research is PT. Deposits at BPR Araya Arta for the last two years. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a sample of 100 respondents taken by purposive sampling. The analytical tool used is simple linear analysis with the help of the SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between financial literacy and interest in PT. BPR Araya Arta is 31.7%, which means that financial literacy will have an impact on the use of products and services or transactions in financial institutions.

Abstract

Asam urat (gout) adalah penyakit metabolisme yang ditandai dengan produksi asam urat berlebihan, biasanyadisebabkan oleh konsumsi makanan tinggi purin. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, banyak orang beralih kepengobatan herbal karena lebih aman dan terjangkau. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa daun salam (Syzygiumpolyanthum Wight), daun sidaguri, dan daun songgolangit memiliki potensi dalam menurunkan kadar asam urat.Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan manfaat tanaman obat tersebut kepada masyarakat, khususnya diRT 12 RW 07 Sunter Agung, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan dan pengobatan alternatif.Sosialisasi dilakukan pada tanggal 20 Oktober 2024, dengan melibatkan 20 peserta. Metode yang digunakantermasuk presentasi interaktif dan diskusi mengenai tanaman obat, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukurpemahaman peserta sebelum dan sesudah sosialisasi. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan hanya 40% peserta yangmengetahui tentang tanaman obat yang dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat. Namun, setelah sosialisasi, tingkatpemahaman peserta meningkat menjadi 85%. Analisis data menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 60%(pre-test) menjadi 90% (post-test), mencerminkan efektivitas metode sosialisasi. Kegiatan sosialisasi berhasilmeningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengobatan herbal, dengan 95% peserta menunjukkanpemahaman yang baik setelah kegiatan. Diharapkan informasi yang diperoleh dapat diterapkan dalamkehidupan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat dan mendorong penggunaan tanaman obatsebagai alternatif pengobatan asam urat.

Abstract

The socialization activity “Simple Accounting Practices in Everyday Life” was carried out with the aim of providing socialization to students of Islahil Athfal Rumak Private Senior High School in West Lombok Regency on the importance of understanding the application of accounting practices in everyday life. This is because these simple accounting practices can help students manage their finances effectively, such as controlling their expenses and income accurately. Additionally, students can create realistic financial plans for both short-term and long-term goals, such as continuing their education to a higher level. This initiative helps students manage their finances effectively. The outreach program was attended by approximately 30 students. It was conducted by lecturers from the School of Economics 45 Mataram. In this socialization, we provided the benefits of introducing simple accounting in daily activities. One application of accounting practices is by controlling the income and expenses from their pocket money to use it according to their needs. Accounting practices can also provide an understanding of simplicity, avoiding consumptive and wasteful behavior.

Abstract

Viral hepatitis is an infectious disease that is a public health problem in developing countries around the world, including Indonesia. Viral hepatitis can affect the morbidity rate. Hepatitis B is caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). Hepatitis B can be prevented with a safe and effective vaccine that is currently available. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the Thousand Islands Student Forum regarding the definition of Hepatitis B disease, the types of Hepatitis B disease and its causes. In addition, we conducted a socialization activity regarding hepatitis vaccination as a form of prevention effort against Hepatitis B disease. The method used by community service members is the presentation method with the help of powerpoint slides through the google meet application. This activity involved the participation of students from the Morning Pharmaceutical Biotechnology class B, Even Academic Year 2020/2021 and the Thousand Islands Student Forum. The results achieved were increasing knowledge to the Thousand Islands Student Forum about Hepatitis B disease and the Hepatitis B vaccine as seen from the results of throwing questions to the committee. The benefits obtained from this activity such as providing more knowledge and educating the Thousand Islands Student Forum about various types of Hepatitis B vaccines for routine immunization programs as a preventive measure against Hepatitis B disease.

Abstract

Produk biskuit yang berkualitas tentunya tidak hanya sekedar produk dengan rasa yang enak, namun juga memiliki kandungan gizi yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui formula pembuatan biskuit terbaik berdasarkan hasil uji organoleptik, kemudian menganalisis kandungan gizi pada biskuit tersebut antara lain protein, kalsium dan zat besi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium dengan perlakuan substitusi tepung daun kelor dan tepung pisang pada biskuit dengan perbandingan formulasi tepung terigu, tepung daun kelor dan tepung pisang dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu F1 : Biskuit sebagai kontrol, F2 : Biskuit dengan perbandingan 80% : 5 % : 15% , F3 : Biskuit dengan perbandingan 70% : 10% : 20%, F4 : Biskuit dengan perbandingan 60% : 15% : 25% , F5 : Biskuit dengan perbandingan perbandingan 50% : 20% : 30%. Observasi dilakukan dengan menganalisis penerimaan panelis terhadap tekstur, aroma, warna, dan rasa, serta uji analisis kandungan kadar protein, kalsium, dan zat besi pada biskuit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa biskuit yang memiliki nilai organolaptik tekstur, aroma, warna, dan rasa tertinggi adalah pada perlakuan F1, F1, F1, dan F1, sedangkan nilai organoleptik terendah pada pengujian adalah perlakuan F3 dan F5. , masing-masing. , F5, F5, dan F5. Kandungan kalsium, protein dan zat besi tertinggi masing-masing terdapat pada perlakuan F4, F5 dan F5. Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut, daun kelor berpotensi untuk dijadikan bahan pembuatan biskuit dengan penambahan tepung pisang.

Abstract

Starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi Linn.) is containing several chemical contents including tannins, alkaloids, flavonoids, polyphenols and saponins, which can be efficacious as an antibacterial. The purpose of this study is determine stability of  gel and the effect of gel formulation ethanol extracted from leaves starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi Linn.) against the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This is an experimental laboratory research where the formulation of ethanol extracted from the leaves of starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi Linn.) which  obtained from the process of maceration with 96% of ethanol solvent formulated in a gel dosage form. Gel formulations of the ethanol extracted from leaves starfruit was made with various concentration of the extract including 35%, 50% and 65% with hidroksi propil metil cellulose ( HPMC) as the base. We used without-extract as the negative control and  0.1% of gentamicin ointment as the positive control. The result gel from antibacterial activity was then processed using the agar diffusion method .The use of a gel formulation  ethanol extracted from leaves starfruit affected the antibacterial activity of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa . The results showed that the ethanol gel extracted from leaves starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi Linn.) had the best antibacterial activity, indicated by 65% gel concentration containing the ethanol extracted from leaves starfruit being able to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus that for 28.62 mm with greater barrier diameter and Pseudomonas aeruginosa for 19 mm. Irritation test to 20 female with age 20 - 30 years old man and woman with put it on the back of hands for 2 hours in 3 days and the result is no irritation indication happend . Gel stability was had test for 4 weeks and nothing change happend
