Abstract

Oil palm (Elaeis guineensis jacq) is one of profitable crops in Riau Province. Oil palm plantations have been cultivated by various type of business including large enterprises and smallholders. Oil palm has been grown by a large number of population in the Province of Riau.  In the village of Sei Lambu Makmur, District of Tapung, Regency of Kampar, the oil palm plantation are at the end of the economic life . To maintain sustainable production the oil palm trees should be replanted. There are three alternative replanting models i.e., conventional, underplanting, and conventional with intercropping. Conventional and underplanting are possible models for smallholders and mill. This aim of this research is to analyse the most suitable model for the condition of the smallholders. Primary data was collected by direct interview with oil palm smallholders while secondary data was obtained from relevant agencies. This study analysis the feasibility of the replanting models by using four investment criteria is NPV, IRR , Net B/C and sensitivity analysis. The results show that underplanting is the most suitable model for smallholder. However, the conventional model is the most efficient model from the mill’s point of view.   Keyword: oil palm, replanting model, NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis

Abstract

Pendidikan nasional maupun pendidikan islam tentu saja mempunyai tujuan yang baik agar dapat menghasilkan generasi yang unggul. Masalah-masalah yang terjadi, salah satunya adalah pembagian atau pemisahan antara pendidikan nasional dan islam yang saling bertentangan seharusnya bias untuk dihindari. Jika keduanya memiliki tujuan yang baik, maka seharusnya permasalahan ini tidak ada. Integritas merupakan suatu hal yang penting. Untuk mengatasi masalah dikotomi di Indonesia, maka diperlukannya integritas pendidikan islam dalam pendidikan nasional sebagai upaya untuk menghindari dikotomi pendidikan tersebut yang akan dibahas di dalam makalah ini. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah bagaimana pendidikan islam dalam pendidikan nasional sebagai upaya menghindari dikotomi ilmu. Simpulan dari penulisan ini adalah dikotomi harus segera diakhiri salah satunya dengan menerapkan diintegrasi pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang berkualitas pada saat ini sudah menjadi program pemerintahan yang masih terus diupayakan. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mencapai pendidikan berkualitas tidak hanya dilakukan oleh pemerintahan saja, pihak lain juga turut serta dalam mengupayakan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, diantaranya pihak swasta, lembaga pendidikan bahkan masyarakat umum turut serta dalam upayanya. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai seberapa pentingnya upaya dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, yang masih dikatakan memiliki kualitas yang rendah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi literatur dan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini data diperoleh melalui hasil studi pustaka yang bersumber kepada jurnal serta artikel. Penelitian ini menghasilkan mengenai upaya apa saja yang bisa dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia, serta faktor apa saja yang menyebabkan masih rendahnya kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang bermakna di kelas dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, pendidik harus terlibat dalam kegiatan pengembangan profesional. Di sinilah perawatan pedagogis datang untuk memberikan kepemimpinan, pengawasan, dan bimbingan untuk memenuhi standar kualitas yang ditetapkan untuk teknik yang ideal.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung besarnya biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk usahatani dan menghitung besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh dalam usahatani, menghitung besarnya pendapatan yang diperoleh dalam usahatani, dan menganalisis kelayakan RC Ratio usahatani tanaman hias bonsai anting putri. Penentuan lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan sengaja yaitu di Kota Palembang dengan metode pengumpulan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling didapat jumlah petani sampel sebanyak 30 orang. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah pendapatan rata-rata petani dari usahatani tanaman hias bonsai anting putri sebesar Rp 7.336.167 yang dihitung dari total penerimaan dikurang dengan total biaya produksi. Kemudian didapatkan hasil RC Rasio sebesa 3,75, ini menunjukkan bahwa RC rasio lebih besar dari 1 yang artinya usahatani tanaman hias bonsai anting putri layak diusahakan.

Abstract

besar terhadap Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Komoditas karet di Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin menjadi salah satu pencaharian utama bagi sebagian besar masyarakat disana. Total produksi di Tahun 2015 yaitu mencapai 107.340 ton. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2019 di Desa Lais Utara Kecamatan Lais Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Metode pengumpulan data terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer menggunakan metode acak berlapis tak berimbang (disproportionate random sampling), yang terdiri dari 30 sampel petani karet dari populasi yang ada. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan yaitu rata-rata biaya produksi anggota UPPB lebih besar dibanding bukan anggota yaitu sebesar Rp 17.440.442 per tahun, dan rata-rata pendapatan yang diperoleh oleh anggota UPPB sebesar Rp 43.494.028 per tahun, nilai ini jauh lebih besar dibanding rata-rata pendapatan bukan anggota UPPB yaitu Rp 18.590.296 per tahun

Abstract

The Baduy community, located in Lebak Regency, Banten Province, Indonesia, represents an indigenous group that has preserved ancestral traditions amidst modernization. This article explores the social organization system of the Baduy community, including its hierarchical structure, customary norms, leadership roles, and interactions with the outside world. The social structure, led by the Puun as the spiritual leader and the Jaro as the administrative manager, is central to the community's continuity. Customary norms, known as "pikukuh," regulate all aspects of life, from social relations to environmental conservation. Despite facing modernization challenges, the Baduy community, particularly the Outer Baduy, demonstrates adaptability without losing cultural identity. This article adopts a descriptive approach, referring to recent literature and research, to provide a comprehensive understanding of the harmony between tradition, spirituality, and ecological sustainability in the Baduy community. The study highlights the Baduy community as a model of how traditions and local values can serve as a foundation for sustainable community management in the modern era.

Abstract

Moral degradation in education, especially at the elementary school level, has become one of the major challenges in shaping a young generation with strong character. This phenomenon is characterized by students' behavior that deviates from social norms, such as a lack of respect for teachers and peers, as well as an increase in deviant behaviors like bullying. From a pedagogical perspective, this moral degradation reflects the failure of character education, which should be a priority in schools. This article aims to examine the causes of moral degradation in elementary schools from a pedagogical point of view and provide solutions to address it. A holistic approach, integration of character education into the curriculum, and the role of teachers as role models are key to overcoming this problem. This study is expected to serve as a foundation for formulating more effective educational policies in shaping the moral character of the younger generation.

Abstract

Pregnancy traditions that develop in the Wonosari Village community, Bengkalis District, Riau Province, are a form of local wisdom that contains Islamic religious education values. These traditions are not merely expressions of culture or customs passed down from generation to generation, but also function as a means of internalizing Islamic teachings into people's lives. This study aims to identify and analyze the values of Islamic education contained in social practices during pregnancy, such as four-monthly religious studies, reading of the letters Maryam and Yusuf by pregnant women, and thanksgiving and alms activities. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, light interviews with community leaders, and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that these traditions contain dimensions of monotheism, worship, morals, and Islamic brotherhood education that are implemented contextually and applicatively. These values also strengthen the role of the family and community as agents of non-formal education that instill Islamic teachings naturally since the prenatal period. Therefore, the preservation of pregnancy traditions based on Islamic teachings needs to be continuously encouraged as part of efforts to build a sustainable cultural-based Islamic education system.

Abstract

Mathematical thinking skills represent fundamental cognitive capacities essential for fraction concept mastery in elementary education, yet traditional instructional approaches consistently fail to address persistent learning difficulties. The RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain-Create) model offers a promising framework for enhancing mathematical thinking through systematic collaborative learning processes. This systematic literature review examined the effectiveness of RADEC implementation in developing mathematical thinking skills, particularly for fractional concept instruction in elementary settings. A comprehensive search across multiple databases including Google Scholar, JSTOR, ERIC, and PubMed identified 946 potentially relevant studies published between 2019-2023. Through systematic screening applying rigorous inclusion and exclusion criteria, 21 high-quality studies were selected for analysis using thematic synthesis methodology. The results demonstrate that RADEC implementation significantly improves conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, mathematical communication abilities, and higher-order thinking competencies compared to conventional instructional approaches. While no studies specifically examined RADEC with fractional content, the model's theoretical principles align closely with established best practices for fraction instruction, including collaborative discourse, concrete representations, and conceptual understanding development. Implementation challenges include variations in students' reading abilities, teacher preparedness requirements, and instructional resource limitations. The findings reveal a critical research gap regarding direct empirical testing of RADEC effectiveness with fractional content. This review contributes the first comprehensive synthesis linking RADEC principles with mathematical thinking development and fraction instruction, providing theoretical foundation for future empirical research while highlighting practical implementation requirements for educational practitioners.

Abstract

Education is essentially a cultural process that has a significant influence on the survival of humans in carrying out religious, social, and cultural life. In this context, education and arts and culture are two entities that cannot be separated, because they interact and influence each other. Arts and culture have an important role in shaping the identity and personality of individuals and groups of people. Therefore, the ideal education process contains noble cultural wisdom values, in order to realize the development of students' characters holistically through cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Specifically, the main objective of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education (PAI-BP) is to shape the character and noble morals of students. Because PAI-BP is full of spiritual values ​​and divine aesthetics, an arts and culture-based approach is considered relevant and effective. Through the integration of arts and culture, educators can design a more innovative, creative, and enjoyable learning process, because the learning contains elements of beauty that have educational value
