Abstract

The problem that occurs in one of the high schools is that there is no online-based English exam system, and they still use paper for their assessments. This makes teachers unable to give exams to students if they do not attend school. The purpose of this research is to create an online exam system to facilitate exam administration using the Model View Controller (MVC) to assess online English exams. The analytical method uses the System Usability Scale (SUS), to collect data using an electronic test (e-Test).Unifield Modeling Language (UML), a visual modeling technique used in designing and building object-oriented software for E-Test applications.The results showed that the use of the E-test application in a comparison class in English subjects could improve student learning outcomes to a higher level, from a score of 81.7 to 90.9. Compared to the control class, there was a slight increase, namely an increase in value from 71.5 to 75.8. This proves that the E-test application is used effectively by students for English subjects.

Abstract

Peningkatan pengetahuan dan informasi teknologi dalam masyarakat menuntut perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Meskipun teknologi informasi telah berkembang pesat, metode pembelajaran konvensional masih dominan. Akses teknologi, terutama internet, telah membuka peluang baru dalam pendidikan, memungkinkan pembelajaran daring yang fleksibel. Pendidikan saat ini tidak terlepas dari perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK), namun tidak semua anak memiliki akses yang sama terhadap pendidikan. Panti asuhan menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi anak-anak yang membutuhkan pengasuhan di luar keluarga Kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan internet secara efektif di Panti Asuhan Putra Darul Ma’arif Al Karimiyah Padang dilakukan melalui dua sesi. Sesi pertama berfokus pada penjelasan tentang cara memanfaatkan internet dalam pembelajaran daring, sementara sesi kedua melibatkan tanya jawab dan kuis untuk memastikan pemahaman materi. Tim PKM turun langsung ke lapangan untuk memberikan pelatihan, namun beberapa kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan jaringan internet menyulitkan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa Panti Asuhan tentang penggunaan internet dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

The Jambak farmer group has difficulty in determining the preferred pesticide fertilizer because the decision-making process still uses manual methods, so the decision results are not precise and inaccurate. The purpose of this study is to help the Jambak farmer group determine the preferred pesticide fertilizer using the Decision Support system (SPK) with the Multi Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) method, this method is able to optimize a number of different attributes simultaneously. This SPK system is implemented into the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study show that the best choice pesticide is Wingran with a total value of 0.2037. The use of this system can help the Jambak Farmers Group determine the preferred pesticide fertilizer appropriately and accurately.

Abstract

The low ability of students in the C Programming Language course is due to the need for more use of models and media that suit student needs. This research aims to test the validity and practicality of the learning modules of the two model books: the lecturer's guidebook and the module book & student guide. This research belongs to the type of development research that was developed using the ADDIE model. Data collection used a questionnaire method and interviews with research instruments in the form of validity and practicality test instruments—data analysis techniques using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The data from the research analysis showed that the results of the expert assessment obtained an average value of 0.90 in the Valid category. Lecturer manual and the average value of 0.87. Module book & student guide with Valid category. The practicality of the lecturer's guidebook produces an average value of 90.09 (Very Practical). Practical module books & student guides produce an average value of 91.20 (Very Practical). It was concluded that the FASTER model is suitable for learning the C Programming Language, and the modules used are very easy to use and help in the learning process.

Abstract

The rapid development of Science and Technology (IPTEK) has resulted in changes in the learning paradigm which are marked by changes in curriculum, media and technology. Technological innovation and information systems in the world of education, especially in universities, have their own attraction for students, because conventional learning sometimes makes students less creative in the learning process. In today's technological advances, Android cellphones have now become a necessity for society, especially among students and students. Smartphone media is very influential in the teaching and learning process between lecturers and students in the 21st century era and is one of the distance learning media solutions. The aim of this research is to develop a mobile learning application as a distance learning medium using Android Studio to simplify and increase the efficiency of the learning process in higher education. The method used in developing this system is the waterfall method with stages with the Unified Modeling Language (UML) system design tool. The result of this research is a mobile learning application using Android Studio which is effectively used as a distance learning medium in higher education. With this mobile learning application, Android-based learning has created interesting and dynamic learning for lecturers and students, so this creates many benefits and can minimize obstacles that have occurred in the learning process and help students like learning more.

Abstract

in rural areas. Pokdakan Sakato Farm, a catfish farming group in Dharmasraya Regency, faces various challenges, including price fluctuations, inconsistent fish sizes at harvest, limited processing technology, lack of product legality, and underutilized digital marketing. This community service program aims to enhance the added value of aquaculture products through the optimization of processing technology, digital marketing strategies, and legal assistance for product certification. The program was implemented through several stages, including observation, training, technology application, and evaluation. The outcomes indicate improved technical skills among members, product diversification such as smoked catfish and seasoned catfish, increased production efficiency, the development of digital marketing systems, and the initiation of product legalization processes. The program also fostered institutional awareness for professional and sustainable business management. Further actions include continuous mentoring, follow-up training, and strategic collaboration with government agencies to ensure sustainability and competitiveness of Pokdakan Sakato Farm's business

Abstract

The recording and processing of population data is the responsibility of the Regency/City government, where the implementation starts from the kelurahan/nagari as the spearhead of government. The nagari / kelurahan government is responsible for the process of data collection and population administration, for further recapitulation of population data to be reported to the level II regional government, in this case the City / Regency civil registry office. These services need to be done quickly and accurately to get information. In recording and processing population data which is currently running, the Nagari Siaro – Aro government has used computer aids. However, the computer applications used in these agencies have not been fully able to support the performance of the mayor's office equipment in providing excellent public services and in accordance with the principles, principles and standards of public services that are simple, fast, responsive and accurate as well as effective and efficient to the community. This is because the application used for processing population data in the mayor's office is still classified as a simple application such as Microsoft Office.

Abstract

Hafiz Perabot faces challenges every year in selecting quality wood raw materials for the production process. This selection process is still done manually, so the decisions made are less precise, take a long time, and are inefficient. To improve production efficiency and ensure the use of quality raw materials, a more optimized system is needed. The solution to overcome this problem is to implement a web-based Decision Support System (SPK) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method calculates the weighted sum to produce rankings as a basis for decision making in the selection of quality wood raw materials. The application was developed using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database for fast and accurate data management. The results of this study indicate that there is 1 quality wood raw material received from 10 wood material data, namely V8 (Ulin) with Rank 1. This Decision Support System can help Hafiz Perabot in determining quality wood raw materials, thereby improving production quality and efficiency in the decision-making process.
