Abstract

Indeks keandalan sistem distribusi merupakan merupakan nilai mutu sistem untuk menyalurkan energi listrik ke pelanggan secara kontinu dalam periode waktu tertentu dan dalam kondisi tertentu. Nilai indeks keandalan sistem distribusi yang digunakan oleh PLN adalah standar SPLN No. 59 Tahun 1985 dan standar SPLN 68-2:1986 yaitu nilai SAIDI (System Average Interruption Duration Index) sebesar 21 jam/pelanggan/tahun dan nilai SAIFI (System Average Interruption Frequency Index) sebesar 3,2 kali/pelanggan/tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat keandalan sistem distribusi tenaga listrik di PT. PLN (Persero) Area Balikpapan terutama pada penyulang J4 J5 J6 dengan menghitung nilai SAIDI dan SAIFI selama periode waktu 1 tahun. Data gangguan yang ditinjau adalah data gangguan yang terjadi selama tahun 2018. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh bahwa pada penyulang J4 nilai SAIDI sebesar 21,94 jam/ pelanggan/tahun dan nilai SAIFI sebesar 3.26 kali/ pelanggan/tahun. Pada penyulang J5 nilai SAIDI sebesar 30,09 jam/ pelanggan/ tahun dan nilai SAIFI sebesar 3,99 kali/pelanggan/tahun. Pada  penyulang J6 nilai SAIDI sebesar 50,96 jam/pelanggan/ tahun dan nilai SAIFI sebesar 5,24 kali pelanggan/tahun. Dibandingkan terhadap nilai standar SPLN No. 59 Tahun 1985 dan standar SPLN 68-2: 1986 maka nilai indeks keandalan penyulang J4 J5 J6 masih di bawah standar atau dikategorikan sebagai kurang handal.

Abstract

In an era where digital learning tools are reshaping the educational landscape, selecting the right language learning application becomes paramount, especially for institutions aiming to enhance their students' English proficiency. While numerous language applications exist, only a few are accessible without cost. This study zeroes in on two such free applications: ELSA and English Speaking Practice. The choice of these apps aimed to discern the instructional differences and their subsequent impact on learners. Conducted at SMK Negeri 17 Samarinda, the research involved two experimental classes: X Pharmacy 4 (33 students) and X Medical Laboratory Technology 1 (34 students). Using a Quasi-Experimental design, the study employed quantitative methods, including pre-test and post-test evaluations, to gauge the comparative effectiveness of the apps. The results were illuminating: the class utilizing ELSA witnessed a proficiency uptick of 15.21%, whereas the English Speaking Practice class observed a 13% increase. With a p-value of 0.000 <0.05, the data conclusively shows significant disparities in the efficacy of the two applications. This research underscores the importance of judiciously selecting digital tools in EFL contexts, ensuring optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

The fast advance of information technology has attempted English teachers with innovative and recent teaching models. This study focuses on the use of Schoology in ESP nursing class. The quantitative research was done with one group pre-test and post-test design. The samples were the second semester ESP class of Nursing program as an experimental group that consists of 122 students and 122 students as a control group. The instruments used the test to measure the students’ cognitive achievement. The inferential analysis used in this research was a t-test. Based on the results of Group Statistics, it is found that the average value of the posttest for the control group was 61.05 while the experimental group was 84. Thus, statistically, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in learning outcomes between the control group with the lecture method and the experimental group using Schoology. In other words, the use of Schoology is effective in learning also helps improve English learning outcomes of students of Nursing Program.

Abstract

Although the concept of blended learning is widely recognized, many teachers, particularly those at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), remain unfamiliar with its principles and methods of implementation. In response, the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, through the Education and Training Agency in Makassar, organized training for MTs teachers on blended learning. This study aimed to examine the perceptions of Madrasah Tsanawiyah teachers regarding the use of blended learning in Civic and Environmental Education. Adopting a descriptive quantitative approach, the study involved a population of 120 teachers, participants in the training, which was divided into five different classes. Using purposive sampling, a sample of 29 teachers was selected, focusing on those teaching Civic Education. Data was collected through a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively, with results categorized into five groups. The findings revealed that teachers’ perceptions of blended learning were generally positive, with a mean score of 3.6, categorized as "good." The perceived quality of IT facilities in the training received an average score of 3.90, also categorized as "good." Teachers' perceptions of peer activities during the training averaged 4.3, indicating a "good" rating. Perceptions of the role of resource persons and training organizers were even more favorable, with both receiving an average score of 4.6, categorized as "very good." These results are expected to provide valuable insights for the implementation of future training programs that utilize blended learning, particularly within Islamic educational settings. Abstrak: Meskipun konsep pembelajaran blended learning telah dikenal luas, banyak guru, khususnya guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), yang masih belum memahami prinsip dan cara penerapannya. Sebagai respons terhadap hal ini, Kementerian Agama Republik Indonesia melalui Badan Pengembangan dan Pendidikan Kementerian Agama di Makassar menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi guru MTs mengenai blended learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persepsi guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah terhadap penggunaan metode blended learning dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Lingkungan Hidup. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi penelitian ini terdiri dari 120 guru peserta pelatihan yang dibagi dalam lima kelas berbeda. Menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sampel penelitian sebanyak 29 guru dipilih, yang berfokus pada guru Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif, dengan hasil yang dikategorikan ke dalam lima kelompok. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap blended learning secara keseluruhan positif, dengan rata-rata skor 3,6, yang termasuk dalam kategori "baik." Persepsi terhadap kualitas fasilitas TI dalam pelatihan berbasis blended learning memperoleh rata-rata skor 3,90, yang juga termasuk dalam kategori "baik." Persepsi guru terhadap kegiatan teman sejawat selama pelatihan memperoleh rata-rata skor 4,3, yang masuk dalam kategori "baik." Persepsi terhadap peran narasumber dan penyelenggara pelatihan sangat positif, dengan keduanya memperoleh rata-rata skor 4,6, yang termasuk dalam kategori "sangat baik." Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk implementasi program pelatihan di masa depan yang menggunakan metode blended learning, khususnya di lembaga pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Industry kecil yang mengolah hasil pertanian mampu bertahan terhadap dampak krisis ekonomi dan mampu membangun kembali perekonomian Indonesia saat ini. Salah satu industry kecil yang potensial untuk dikembangkan adalah pabrik pengolahan kedelai yang salah satu produknya adalah tempe. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) Mengetahui Kelayakan Industri Rumah Tangga Usaha Pengolahan Tempe di tinjau dari aspek finansial di Kelurahan Ladongi Kecamatan Ladongi Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. (2) Mengetahui Sensitivitas Kelayakan Industri Rumah Tangga Usaha Pengolahan Tempe di Kelurahan Ladongi Kecamatan Ladongi Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Kelurahan Ladongi Kecamatan Ladongi Kabupaten Kolaka Timur pada bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2022. Objek penelitian ini adalah Usaha Pengolahan Tempe Ibu Mutmaina. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Studi kasus. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Analisis Aspek finansial yang meliputi Analisis Net Present Value, Analisis Net Benevit Cost Ratio, Analisis Internal Rate of Return, Analisis Payback Period, Analisis Break Event Point dan Anlisis Sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan aspek finansial diperoleh nilai NPV sebesar Rp.560.498.476 dengan discount factor yang digunakan sebesar 13%, Net B/C sebesar 2,36, IRR sebesar 39% Payback Period Sebesar 7 tahun 1 bulan, dan BEP unit 13.482 BEP rupiah 8.896. Usaha ini dinyatakan layak untuk diusahakan secara finansial. Kemudian berdasarkan perhitungan Analaisis Sensitivitas, usaha tetap layak untuk dijalankan meskipun terjadi kenaikan harga kedelai 30% serta kenaikan harga jual tempe sebesar 20%

Abstract

Pemilahan sampah masih menjadi permasalahan yang belum terselesaikan di Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, khususnya di Kelurahan Tanjung Harapan. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan menumbuhkan karakter pada anak-anak sejak dini dalam memilah sampah, sehingga generasi mendatang lebih sadar akan pentingnya memilah sampah dengan benar sesuai jenis, warna, dan fungsinya. Pemilahan sampah merupakan bagian penting dari pengelolaan sampah yang mencakup sampah organik, anorganik, dan residu. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode role play dan ceramah, dihadiri oleh 45 anak dan guru dari TK Al-Hidayah Samboja, dan dilaksanakan dalam dua sesi, yaitu pada tanggal 15 dan 24 Agustus 2024. Sesi pertama diadakan di TK Al-Hidayah, sedangkan sesi kedua dilakukan di Pantai Tanah Merah. Melalui kegiatan ini, anak-anak diperkenalkan pada konsep pemilahan sampah sejak dini, dengan harapan mereka dapat meniru perilaku orang dewasa dalam memilah sampah dengan benar. Selain itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan anak-anak tentang jenis-jenis sampah serta cara pengolahannya, bahkan mendaur ulang, sehingga dapat mengurangi jumlah sampah yang berakhir di tempat pembuangan akhir.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas upaya strategis Kelurahan Tanjung Harapan dalam membangun identitas digital melalui integrasi profilnya di platform Wikipedia. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan transparansi, aksesibilitas informasi, dan efisiensi pelayanan publik. Dengan memanfaatkan Wikipedia, Kelurahan Tanjung Harapan berupaya menyediakan informasi yang komprehensif, akurat, dan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat luas, sehingga memperkuat citra digital dan mendukung partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemerintahan daerah. Proses ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu pengumpulan data, penyusunan konten, verifikasi, publikasi, serta pemeliharaan konten, dengan memastikan bahwa informasi yang disajikan sesuai dengan pedoman Wikipedia. Kehadiran profil kelurahan di Wikipedia berdampak signifikan pada efisiensi pelayanan administrasi, memungkinkan warga mendapatkan informasi penting terkait prosedur administrasi secara mandiri. Hal ini mengurangi jumlah kunjungan langsung ke kantor kelurahan, mempercepat waktu pelayanan, dan meringankan beban administrasi. Selain itu, profil digital ini meningkatkan transparansi dan responsivitas kelurahan dalam memberikan layanan publik, sehingga memperkuat kepercayaan warga terhadap pemerintahan setempat. Profil ini juga diharapkan menjadi sumber informasi resmi bagi warga, peneliti, dan pemangku kepentingan lainnya.

Abstract

Romantic films play a pivotal role in shaping global perceptions of love, yet little is known about how emotional expressions are adapted across cultures through translation. This study explores the intersection of Chapman’s Five Love Languages and translation strategies in the Indonesian subtitling of Irish Wish. Using a qualitative case study, 110 dialogues were purposively sampled from the official Netflix subtitles. Dialogues were classified into love language categories (Chapman, 2009) and analyzed through Molina and Albir’s (2002) translation framework. AntConc software assisted in text pattern identification, while expert validation ensured coding reliability. Findings reveal Words of Affirmation (75.45%) as the most dominant love language, followed by Acts of Service (15.45%), with minimal presence of Gifts, Quality Time, and Physical Touch. Literal translation, modulation, and established equivalents emerged as the most frequently applied strategies, supported by selective use of adaptation, reduction, and borrowing to maintain emotional nuance. The study highlights how translators balance linguistic fidelity and cultural resonance, ensuring emotional authenticity in Indonesian contexts. By integrating relationship psychology with translation studies, this research contributes to media localization scholarship and underscores the importance of culturally adaptive subtitling for cross-cultural empathy.

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the quality of the electrical installation at Budi Bakti School Building in Samarinda by emphasizing aspects of reliability, safety, energy efficiency, and compliance with applicable electrical installation standards. The research approach involved field surveys to obtain empirical data, measurements of lighting intensity, calculations of the required number of lighting points according to the function and characteristics of each room, as well as technical analysis of installation components, including conductors and protection systems. All observed data were compared with theoretical calculations to identify the level of conformity as well as potential deviations that could cause problems. The findings indicate that although the electrical installation remains operational, there are significant discrepancies, particularly in the distribution of lighting intensity, the number of lighting points, and the selection and placement of protective components that do not fully meet the standards. These discrepancies affect the optimality of lighting, reduce user comfort, and present potential safety risks. Therefore, this study recommends adjustments to the installation design, prioritizing the optimization of the lighting system, the use of standard-compliant components, and the implementation of energy efficiency principles as part of a comprehensive improvement effort. The implications of these findings highlight that regular evaluations and updates of electrical installations in educational buildings are essential to create a safe, comfortable, and productive learning environment. Thus, the results of this research not only provide practical contributions for school management but also offer a scientific basis for developing technical standards of electrical installations that are more responsive to educational needs.

Abstract

Zakat funds are collected from zakat maal funds for employees of the State Civil Apparatus in Paser Regency and distributed in the form of Consumptive and Productive Alms Infak Zakat Funds. The purpose of this study is to analyze and study the management of zakat infak and alms funds at the Amil Zakat Board of Paser Regency, as well as to analyze the effectiveness of zakat infak and alms management. The object of this research is the National Amil Zakat Agency in Paser Regency. The research design uses qualitative analysis with collective data by conducting in-depth interviews, documentation and observation. While the research informants consisted of administrators of the National Amil Zakat Agency and Muzaki who received productive zakat funds. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative with the help of Nvivo12 Plus software. The research results prove that the source of zakat infaq and alms fund collection at the National Amil Zakat Agency in Paser Regency comes from professional zakat and Infaq from the State Civil Apparatus, there have been no other efforts to collect from other sources. The distribution of zakat, infaq and alms funds can help micro businesses, especially during the covid19 pandemic
