Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based employee training and certification application at the Education and Training Center of Bank X. Currently, the Education and Training Center of Bank X are having problems managing data and information for employee training and certification. The application is expected to help collect data, training, and certification and convey accurate information. The software development life cycle used is Rational Unified Process (RUP). It has several processes during the development, namely Business Modelling, Requirements, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing, and Development. The application uses PHP programming language with CodeIgniter and MySQL database. All software functionality can run well based on the Black Box Testing results. The User Acceptance Test (UAT) results on users, both admin and participants, show that the application is easy to understand and can help provide information related to employee training at the Education and Training Center of Bank X.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) merupakan salah satu kegiatan wajib bagi dosen berdasarkan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Artikel ini membahas mengenai perlunya mengadakan pelatihan berkaitan dengan pengenalan konsep pembangunan video game. Hal ini dianggap perlu karena melihat banyaknya peluang yang terbuka di industri video game. Ditambah lagi dengan fakta bahwa Indonesia merupakan pangsa pasar video game terbesar di Asia Tenggara. Pengembang video game lokal bahkan hanya menguasai 0.4% pangsa pasar di Indonesia. Disisi lain, Indonesia memiliki kurikulum pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk menyiapkan sumberdaya manusianya untuk menguasai kemampuan industri dengan pendidikan setingkat Sekolah Menengag Atas (SMA) yang disebut Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Motivasi yang kuat untuk menguasai kemampuan industri pada pelajar SMK menjadikan SMK menjadi target yang cocok untuk diberikan pembekalan mengenai pembangunan video game. Maka dari itu, Institut Teknolgi dan Bisnis Kalbis serta SMK Sint Joseph bermitra untuk mengadakan pelatihan ini. Dari kegiatan PKM yang telah dilakukan, kegiatan ini memiliki hasil evaluasi yang sangat baik berdasarkan kuisioner yang diisi peserta. Berdasarkan antusiasme dan saran dari peserta membuat pelatihan ini juga layak untuk diadakan kembali dengan materi pembelajaran yang baru dan lebih mendalam.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a system to detect and calculate the number of people in a video real time. Research and development for the system is carried out using the YOLO V3 method whic is used because it can quickly detect object. In the detection and counting people in the research also make notifications that are sent in the form of messages that will be sent to the user via the Telegram app. The notification is made with the intention to informing the user if there are detected people entering or leaving the line that created in real time. The researchers used 100 human images used as a data set. The results of the training conducted demonstrated that he was able to discover humans in the video. The software development used in this research is a progressive method. The end result of this study is the application of the graphical user interface to detect and calculate the number of people entering and leaving the meter line that only has 12,6% of avg loss and can give early warning notice to the user from telegram message.

Abstract

Bicycles as transportation by the public is increasing. The government supports this by providing bike lanes. However, limited supervision by security forces poses a safety threat for cyclists against irresponsible persons. This research proposes a method of detecting vehicles in bike lanes from CCTV video using YOLOv3 algorithm and creating a detection area on the bike lane. The YOLO algorithm was chosen because it has a high FPS value. Vehicles that can be identified are motorcycles and bicycles. The bike lanes detection area is determined manually following traffic markings, while the vehicle object detection used YOLO v3 Tiny. YOLO v3 Tiny obtained an mAP accuracy value of 72.73% with CPU processing performance reaching three frames per second. Based on application testing, the application can distinguish bicycles and motorcycles in the bike lanes. However, YOLOv3 Tiny's low mAP accuracy can cause misdetection in applications.

Abstract

Indonesia ranks 10th as the most congested city in the world. To reduce traffic, private vehicle users have to switch to public transportation. When using public transportation, walking on the sidewalk is a common thing. However, the condition of pedestrian sidewalk sometimes become uncomfortable because there is a motorcyclist who crosses it due to traffic jams. This study aims to develop an application that can detect motorbikes crossing the sidewalk. So, it expects to reduce the number of motorcycle riders crossing the sidewalk. The method used in this study is YOLOv3 in the process of identifying motorcycles. The results of this study are software that can detect motorbikes crossing the sidewalk. By using YOLOv3, motorcycle detection can be carried out and produce video output with an average of 4 fps.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a classification application of Flores woven from the Manggarai, Nage-Keo or Ngada areas using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) method. The software development process uses an incremental method. The data used in this study are images of Flores woven from the Manggarai, Nage-keo, Ngada, Ende and Maumere areas. Ende and Maumere woven images are used as comparative data to detect images that do not include Manggarai, Nage-Keo, and Ngada ikat weaving. This data will be extracted using the VGG16 model that has been trained with weights in the imagenet data to obtain characteristic values ​​in the form of a multidimensional matrix that can recognize colors, textures, etc. The results obtained in this study, the CNN algorithm can be applied to the classification of ikat motifs with a training precision of 99.87% and a validation precision of 98.66%.

Abstract

Using Augmented Reality Technology, the goal of this research is to produce an application capable of displaying information on traditional food from North Sumatra in three dimensions. This integrated application is anticipated to promote public awareness and education of the traditional delicacies of North Sumatra. This study utilized the Interactive Multimedia System of Design and Development (IMSDD) methodology to develop this application. This study employs the Unity3D and Vuforia SDKs in application development. This research has led to the introduction of knowledge about North Sumatra's traditional cuisine. The output of the application is created in APK format for Android devices. According to the UX results, one hundred percent of users claimed that this application helps them learn about traditional foods from North Sumatra.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop an educational game about transportations for kids on PC. It was developed as an educational medium for kids in learning transportations. The game developing method that is used is the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) which consists of six steps such as Initiation, Pre-Production, Production, Testing, Beta, and Release. In the Production stage, the software that is used was Unity with C# language. The result of black-box testing was all functions worked better. The result of the user experience test found that the game is difficult to be played by kids from Kindergarten to 2nd-grader and is more suitable to be played by upper than 2nd graders which has a different difficulty level than 2nd graders and below. The final result of this research is this educational game named TransportaKuis can be played by players through PC with Microsoft Windows OS.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to develop an application that can detect hoax and not hoax at the covid-19 articles with Indonesian language. The dataset was obtained through web scraping method at turnbackhoax.id website on April until November 2020. Then we will perform the labelling of the dataset, which are zero for hoax and one for not hoax. The labelling result of the data obtained is 499 data of COVID-19 articles with Indonesian language. This research is using incremental method as an application development. The incremental method that used is consist into two steps, and those are incremental part one that contains the development of classification model, which are data preprocessing, Bernoulli Naïve Bayes algorithm with TF-IDF as term weighting method, and the testing of classification model with five new testing data. While, incremental part two contains the development of the application user interface. The interface of the application exists two buttons, which are process and exit button. The results of the classification model are 84% of accuracy, 84,15% of precision, 84,0% of recall, and 84,04% of f-measure.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to develop a sentiment analysis application about Anies Baswedan. The data was obtained from Twitter on 1 April until 28 April 2020. The tweet data was classified into three classes, which are positive, neutral, and negative. The feature extraction method used is Term Frequency – Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF). While the classification method used is Multinomial Naïve Bayes. The software development method used in this research is an incremental model, which is divided into two parts. Those are incremental part one that perform text preprocessing, term weighting using TF-IDF, and classification of the data using Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm. While the incremental part two will develop the user interface of sentiment analysis application. The accuracy result of the model obtained in this research is 0.71. The average evaluation scores of the model are 0.71 for precision, 0,71 for recall and 0.71 for f-measure.
