Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept of marketing in the perspective of Islam according to Islamic economic experts. This is a library research with descriptive qualitative approach. The data is in the form of references related to the topic. It is then analyzed qualitatively by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusion. The result shows that the concept of Islamic marketing still depends on the concept of conventional marketing, where Islamic marketing is only used as a marketing tool. Hence, the opportunity to study deeply about the concept of Islamic marketing is still possible to do.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the positioning of the Halal Industry in Indonesia. This study also identifies opportunities and challenges in its development. The method used in this study is a descriptive-qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative analysis through data reduction, categorization, and verification. This research found that Indonesia has the potential to develop the Halal Industry in various sectors, especially halal food, halal travel, halal fashion, and halal finance. The development of the Halal Industry also has the potential to increase national economic growth. However, Indonesia must face various challenges such as the low halal awareness, low local product competitiveness, and problems in implementing the Halal Product Guarantee Regulation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the capital structure in Islamic economics, in terms of components, characteristics and factors that affect the capital structure. This research is a literature study that used a descriptive-qualitative approach. The data used in this research is secondary data. The results show that the decision to formulate the capital structure must be made appropriately so that the company avoids various risks. The capital structure in Islam prohibits the elements of Maysir, Gharar, Riba in it. In general, the factors that influence the capital structure are liquidity, profitability, sales growth and asset structure. However, it all returns to the types and characteristics of the company and the company's management decisions.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic economy in Indonesia is due to the fact that Islam has a comprehensive and universal teaching in all human life aspects, including economy. One encouraging Islamic banking development in Indonesia is indicated by the operation of banks accommodating the Sharia principles. The rapid development of Sharia banking requires an immediate implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) System to provide a maximum protection for the stakeholders, especially customers. The implementation of GCG is expected to help Sharia banking minimize the poor financing quality, increase the bank assessment accuracy, infrastructure, and business decision making quality as well as become the early detection to high risk business areas, products, and services. The implementation of GCG system is greatly important since Sharia banking is the intermediary institution requiring the public or stakeholders’ trust.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah pengguna internet di Indonesia pada tahun 2019-2020 sangat berkembang pesat akan ketertarikan masyarakat terhadap media sosial instagram, yang menjadikannya trend pemasaran bisnis modern yaitu endorsement. Dengan adanya pengaruh endorsement membuat keuntungan di berbagai pihak, khususnya para pelaku usaha yang menjual produk mereka di media sosial instagram. minat membeli terhadap produk skin care halal menjadi perhatian yang sangat penting bagi para calon konsumen muslim dalam mengomsumsi produk halal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh endorsement terhadap minat membeli skin care halal di kalangan mahasiswa jabodetabek. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantiatif dengan pengambilan sampel melalui metode purposive sampling yang diujikan kepada 100 responden mahasiswa aktif yang telah melakukan pembelian produk skin care halal. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda, dibantu dengan program SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara endorsement dan produk halal terhadap minat membeli. Kata kunci : endorsement, instagram, minat membeli, produk halal.

Abstract

The obligation of Muslims in zakat is expected to help solve the problem of income distribution among human beings. This article aims to find out the management of zakat in Muslim countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. Important findings produced there are differences in the management of zakat in Indonesia, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. From the side of the law it is known that Indonesia and Malaysia do not require zakat in their laws, something different from Arab Saubi has even developed an online-based zakat collection and tax system. While from the zakat collection system, the policy in Malaysia makes zakat a tax deduction.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to the identification and potential mapping as community economic empowerment capital. The method used is descriptive quantitative in order to get a deeper result. The object of this research is Pesantren in Cibadak Subdistrict, Lebak, Banten. Data collection technique used is primary data and secondary data. Data analysis techniques used is SWOT to analyze strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats of economic potential in Pesantren. Based on the findings, Pesantren had sufficient capital in the economic development of the community, including public capital, educational competency capital, and capital of management pesantren. However assets, technology, and information capital owned by pesantren still low, there needs to be penetration from the government in the form of incentives to support the involvement of pesantren in economic empowerment.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to determine the typology of corporate culture of Islamic banking. This study also aims to determine the influence of corporate culture of Islamic banking on marketing performance.This study proves that the corporate culture of Islamic banking that accommodates the Islamic teaching has influence on marketing performance.This study is a comparative study between Bank Muamalat and BNI Syariah. Mixed method is used in this study to analyze collected data. The primary data obtained through survey and interview with employees of the Islamic bank. While secondary data obtained from the annual report documentation, books and articles in scientific journals and other sources that relevant to the research. Keywords: Corporate Culture, Marketing Performance, Islamic Banking

Abstract

Islamic Hedging is one of the instruments in financial management that is used to reduce the risks associated with price and currency movements. But in a conventional perspective, hedging involves the use of controversial derivative instruments in Islamic view. The noble objective of this hedging has been misunderstood for profit only. Therefore, the concept of hedging needs further discussion because of various interpretations of the meaning of it. This study found that the concept of hedging according to Islam is different from the concept of conventional hedging. In addition, there are differences in the use of contracts in Islamic Hedging in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze community economic empowerment models through added value owned by pesantren (pesantren value-added). So that it can measure the extent to which pesantren resources are able to empower the economy of the surrounding community. This research is conducted at the modern boarding school Manahijussadat in Lebak Regency, Banten. This research was conducted by identifying and analyzing community economic empowerment models conducted by pesantren. This research is a descriptive study that uses a qualitative approach. The object of this research is modern boarding school Manahijussadat in Pasar Keong Village, Cibadak Lebak District, Banten. The purposive sampling technique is used in this project with both primary data and secondary data. Primary data is collected through interviews with several parties at the pesantren, while secondary data was obtained from several literatures such as books, journals, and other written data. Data collection techniques used are interviews with several parties, from both top leader and management level at the pesantren as well as representatives from surrounding community. In addition, observations were also made by direct observation in the field. While the data analysis technique used in this study is qualitative analysis. Based on the research results obtained, it is known that community economic empowerment through pesantren can be built with a partnership model between pesantren, community, government and the private sector. Because pesantren is the closest Islamic educational institution to the community and has potential resources to be the pioneers of the economic empowerment of the people. The partnership can be carried out in several aspects such as employment, business opportunities, and the establishment of business entities or financial institutions. The partnership that exists between these four elements can make people more economically empowered and improve their welfare in a sustainable manner.
