Abstract

This research is motivated by the limitations of teachers who have not implemented teaching materials in schools, the lack of mathematics word problems related to everyday life issues, and using conventional methods in class resulting in low students' problem-solving abilities. This study was conducted to determine the characteristics of mathematics e-modules based on problem-based learning using the flip pdf professional application on valid and practical Matrix and to determine its potential effects. This research is a research and development with a 4D (four D) development model consisting of four stages, they are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. This study develops a mathematics e-module based on problem-based learning using the flip pdf professional application on valid matrix with an average validity score of 98.89% including the criteria of "very valid" and practical with an average practicality score of 89.03% including the criteria of "very practical. The characteristics developed are the existence of questions related to the competency of the department and the stages of work using the steps of the problem-based learning model. E-modules also have a potential effect of 0.74 on students' problem-solving abilities, which can potentially improve understanding and problem-solving abilities in mathematics.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out to introduce an understanding of literacy and numeracy, the use of technology in learning and understanding the importance of adolescent health awareness which is a contribution to the problems in the field, there is a lack of productivity of adolescents in the organization 1) less time to study especially for numeracy literacy content, 2) lack of ability to utilize technology in learning, 3) lack of understanding of adolescents in the organization in handling injuries during activities and lack of awareness of adolescents in maintaining health. The training was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang, and 30 high school students participated. The results of this activity are the presentation of material on understanding literacy and numeracy, an introduction to making flyers with Canva, and an introduction to a healthy lifestyle. This activity has been published in local mass-media articles in Bangka Belitung, and the videos have been uploaded on the official LPPMPP YouTube account of Universitas Muhammadiyah Bangka Belitung. The participants from this event hope that the activity will always be carried out periodically because the participants' feedback was great, indicating a percentage of 83.57%.

Abstract

The success of a village is determined by its vast resources. Kerakas Village, located in Sungai Selan District, Central Bangka Regency, have village teenager who actively. However, there are many village teenager who are not yet information literate. There are very few young people who have good literacy and numeracy skills. This causes not many young people to aspire to progress. The activity aims to help village youth become literate for the future, starting with numeracy literacy. The activity was carried out on February 12, 2025 at the Kerakas Village office with material on self-character recognition through the STIFIN concept to support improving numeracy literacy skills. The socialization method is implemented with three activity steps, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the activity showed that by using initial mapping, 25% of participants had an intuitive type of intelligence engine there was an increase in numeracy literacy skills seen from the way participants solved the problems given related to finance. The evaluation results showed that 85.15% of participants felt very satisfied with the activities provided.

Abstract

The 2022 Education Report reveals that high school-equivalent students scored 50.74% in numeracy literacy, below the minimum competency. Emphasizing mathematical literacy is crucial, yet such problems are scarce in classrooms. The research aims to develop mathematical literacy questions. The trigonometry material was chosen for the reason that this material should enable literacy activities related to material concepts. Following the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation) model, the study employs expert validation and student responses as instruments, involving 20 students in small and large-scale test phases. It yields four trigonometry essay questions for high school. The research results show that the Mathematical Literacy test developed has quite valid categories in terms of content, construct and language. The questions are declared reliable. All types of questions are difficult. Discrimination index of questions, 1 question in the average category, and 3 questions in the low category. The developed questions are in the difficult category because at the mathematical literacy level, the abilities that are developed are not at the level of low-level thinking. This research supports efforts to increase student competency in mathematical literacy at the high school level.

Abstract

Peserta didik pada usia remaja seringkali mengeluh dengan buku yang terlalu besar untuk dibaca. Sementara hasil penelitian didapat bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis peserta didik. Sehingga penelitian dilakukan untuk menghasilkan sebuah buku saku CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) materi relasi dan fungsi yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas X salah satu MAN di Pangkalpinang pada semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan atau development research yang terdiri dua tahap yaitu tahap preliminary yang meliputi persiapan dan desain kemudian formative evaluation yang meliputi self evaluation, expert reviews, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa buku saku yang dikembangkan sudah seusai dengan pembelajaran CTL dengan rata-rata tiap kategori sebagai berikut; kategori konten bernilai 4 dengan kriteria sangat valid, kategori konstruk bernilai 3,88 dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan kategori bahasa bernilai 3,33 dengan kriteria valid. Sehingga rerata hasil validasi didapat nilai 3,73 dan buku saku dinyatakan valid. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan pada siswa kelas X didapat bahwa buku saku yang dikembangkan praktis dan sangat baik digunakan untuk siswa SMA serta mempunyai efek potensial terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah kontekstual dilihat dari sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang secara umum dikategorikan baik.

Abstract

Indonesian students' mathematical literacy abilities are at a low level. Students have not been able to solve problems that require logical and applied thinking. So, teaching materials are needed that can facilitate critical thinking skills based on numeracy literacy which refers to 21st century learning by optimizing technology in learning. The teaching materials developed refer to several mathematical applications such as facts, operating principles, and problem solving in everyday life. The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The research results show that digital teaching materials are suitable for use based on validation results by material experts, media experts and language experts. Practical digital teaching materials are used based on the results of teacher and student response questionnaires.

Abstract

Remaja harus siap bersaing tingkat global terutama pada masa industri 4.0 sekarang ini. Remaja perlu menjadi orang yang fleksibel dan serba bisa dalam segala hal. Dengan memahami adanya potensi diri remaja sejak awal ini mampu menciptakan dan menumbuhkan jiwa kreativitas. Mengajak remaja agar mempunyai jiwa kreatif dan lebih produktif dalam menciptakan lapangan kerja yaitu dengan mengenalkan konsep berhasil berwirausaha. Untuk mendukung kegiatan ini perlu diadakan pelatihan kreativitas dan memupuk jiwa kewirausahaan melalui hal sederhana yaitu pembuatan produk rumah tangga. Pelatihan ini dilakukan pada 20 peserta remaja yang tergabung dalam komunitas PIKR (Pusat Informasi Konseling Remaja) Mentari di Keluraha Ketapang, Kota Pangkalpinang. Kegiatan dilakukan selama 2 hari dengan tahap pemberian materi dan praktik pembuatan sabun cuci piring sederhana. Pada tahap akhir kegiatan ini dilakukan evaluasi dengan hasil peserta mampu membuat sabun cuci piring sederhana dan dapat membuat desain merk pribadi. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini yaitu remaja PIKR-Mentari mendapatkan materi dan pemahaman pengetahuan tentang jiwa kewirausahaan serta jiwa kreativitas, kemudian juga mendapat pemahaman tentang peluang produk rumah tangga sebagai alternatif wirausaha baru, dan berikutnya mereka mampu membuat desain kreativitas, selama kegiatan berlangsung, peserta merasa puas dan bangga pada hasil karya mereka.
